Doggy Style is our go-to neighborhood spot for grooming! They are so gentle and kind to our disabled pug, Pika. These photos are from after her holiday grooming session today. She always comes out with her fur nice and fluffy and smelling her best. 10/10 recommend!

Mike's the best groomer! Generally very friendly staff and reasonable grooming prices. Sure they have the overpriced treats and food too, but it's easy enough to pick out the good deals - of which there are plenty. No better spot for the for our four legged friends in DC

I took my dog here to get groomed. Fernando took his time and made sure my pup was comfortable. His haircut was excellent, and Doggy Style even called me at one point to check on how I wanted his hair cut! The staff was very kind and considerate! We will definitely be returning!

Would totally give Doggy Style 12/10 if we could! Our puppy just went in for her first haircut and major bath, and we were expecting her to be *really* happy to see us. Instead, she was nonplussed because she was having such a great time at the spa.We had taken her somewhere else in the area recently for a bath, and she hated it. The difference between there and Doggy Style is night and day. We are going to try to convert all our fellow dog parents to go to Doggy Style!Thank you so much, Mike the Groomer!

Fun, colorful, and full of surprises for your furry friend. The store is clean and well organized. They have a wide assortment of dog and cat foods. Their prices for chews are reasonable and their assortment of toys is excellent. There’s something for every dog or cat whether they like to chew, fetch, or scratch. The staff are friendly and give solid recommendations. With Loyal Companion closing this has become our go-to doggie boutique. Definitely support this local neighborhood favorite.

Great experience having our 5 month old Pug groomed here. It was her first time getting a professional bath, nail trim, and ear clean and we were really impressed with the quality of the work and customer service. The team there is great and we will be returning for their grooming services!

I had my golden doodle groomed by Pedro and he was covered in gashes across his neck when I got home. He was bleeding all over his neck and wincing in pain. We went to the vet to get him treated and when I called Pedro to tell him what happened, he asked if I could drive back to show him. I drove all the way back into DC in traffic just for Pedro to say that my dog must’ve had those huge cuts before coming in or got them once we left. He took no responsibility and blamed me for Bentley leaving the groomer bleeding, saying I should’ve come back before going to the vet. My dog was terrified to go back in there… he was shaking and wincing. Pedro said he didn’t notice the bleeding and huge gashes which is alarming.Please do not take your pets here! We’ve had issues with my dog getting rashes here, but this was too much. He is covered in gashes and they did not care!

I had heard good things, so I brought my dog here to get groomed. My experience was anything but good. I came back to get my dog, and he was covered in cuts and gashes. The groomer tried to tell me I must have done this to my dog because he didn’t notice the gashes when we came in. Horrified, I took my dog immediately to the vet. After I got him treated, I called Doggy Style to tell them what happened. They asked us to come back in. Regrettably, I brought my dog back. As soon as we walked in, he started shaking and wincing, clearly terrified. The groomers proceeded to try to tell me again that I had done this to my dog—claiming that if it had been their fault, I would have brought him back immediately (before going to the vet). I wish I had never brought him here in the first place, it would have saved him a lot of pain and trauma. I’m leaving this review with the hope that it can prevent this from happening to anyone else’s dog. I would never recommend Doggy Style.

The groomer cut and burnt my nephew (dog) who is the most chill dog I’ve ever met. He sits still for grooming and is easy to care for so there is no excuse for being clumsy with the shears and hairdryer.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS GROOMER! My sisters dog came in for a standard grooming this week and was returned to her covered in cuts and bleeding. He was shaking violently and clearly showing signs of being afraid of the staff (who obviously hurt him). When she asked the team what happened, they asked her to drive 45 minutes back to the groomer and then proceeded to accuse her of hurting her service dog rather than taking responsibility for their actions. Please stay away from this place as they show negligence and lack care for the animals in their facility.

I love Doggy Style! They have a great selection of toys and treats, including adorable homemade treats that my dog adores. The grooming service is excellent. My dog always smells wonderful and Mike manages to clip her nails, which she won’t let me do! A wonderful place.

The Owner here is a very nasty lady, sold me a 30$ bag of dog food (obviously marked up but I like to support local shops) the food is bad, my dog has ate the food for months this one bag is the issue. I asked to replace or refund the bag, she proceed to tell me that’s not how she does business, and she doesn’t have to stand behind products she chooses to sell. That’s the dog food companies job. I asked to replace a bag of food that is noticeably bad or different than normal. She told me to screw myself. This lady does not care about dogs, and he only person in there that seems to is the male attendant.

I had a really sketchy experience here...be sure to check your credit card statement after going to this groomer. I brought my dog in for a full grooming and paid $110. The next day, there were two charges for $110 on my credit card. I called Doggy Style to let them know and asked them to reverse the second charge. The woman did not help and never followed up. I eventually had to dispute the charge as fraud with my credit card company.In addition, when we arrived, they did not have the correct details regarding my dogs appointment and said they would not be able to accommodate his appointment because they were tight on time. This clearly wasn’t true as I had received several texts confirming the appointment details. Once I stated this, they miraculously had time to complete the scheduled services. Overall, it was a really bad experience.In the future, I will go to a groomer that doesn’t steal from or lie to its customers.

Super easy to schedule, really friendly staff, great selection of retail products. However, my dog came home subdued and sad, when he's ALWAYS thrilled and happy after getting groomed. (Even by a stranger who's never groomed him before!) I wasn't there, so IDK. His groom was pretty good, no cuts or wounds or anything. Still, I wouldn't go back.

Terrible! My friend's dog got groomed here and was covered in gashes when she picked him up. The groomer took no responsibility and said that my friend must've hurt her dog because the groomer didn't notice any of the cuts when the dog came in, despite the dog shaking and wincing when she came to pick him up. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE.

Fantastic staff. Great local store for both dog products and grooming. Call well in advance for grooming appointments, which take 2-3 hours. My puppy loved the groomer and kissed him goodbye! I wish they opened a little earlier on weekends.

Quintessential local shop and K9 groomer and bakery. My dog gets bathed there all the time and he looks and smells great when he is done. He doesn't get cuts. Their retail selection is solid and the baked goods are nice -- according to my pooch. Staff are nice.

Location is excellent, too bad the service is not. You have the rude lady whos always on her phone and seems bothered by customers coming in and the guy who is always totally clueless. Just moved to the area, looking for a new groomer, dropped our little guy off- took 5 hours for a trim and bath, poor guy needed to use the bathroom so badly when we picked him up. The guy at the counter brought us the wrong dog, while the female continued texting on her phone. The groomer did a decent job, not sure she understood what we wanted as she didn't give him the proper cut. For $72 it is what it is. Will we go back, probably not. They need to correct their customer service.

Krista and Jayne (the groomer) were super sweet with our Boxer mix Sophie. She loved them and all the treats too. After having a bad nail clipping experience (nail clipped too short-then the groomer tried to tell us it was bleeding before we came in) months ago at another local shop we tried Doggy Style and were pleasantly surprised!We will definitely be returning for all of our canine needs!
