Great service! I needed a vaccine and was in and out in 5 minutes. No issues whatsoever— at Walgreens I waited 30 minutes and was told I had an insurance issue which was not the case. CVS wiil be my go to!

Amidst the urban sprawl, where streets intertwine, stands a notable CVS, leading the line. Despite the grime that city life may bring, it's a common scene where necessities cling. Dirty, indeed, but such is the fate in bustling streets that never abate. Yet, in its corners, value is found, serving the needs of all around. A practical beacon, albeit not pristine, offering essentials, seen and unseen. In the city's rhythm, it finds its part, imperfect, yet vital, with a practical heart.

This review is for the pharmacy. Find another one.When you look up "pharmacist" online, there's always a photo of a smiling pharmacist who looks happy to help. The pharmacist at this CVS does not smile, he is not friendly, and he does not care about his customers. He asks no questions nor asks you if you have any questions. He offers no greeting. He behaves like a cashier because all he does is hand you your prescription and take your payment. (Except the cashiers are actually friendly.)Once, I was picking up a prescription and also purchasing a few items. He asked if I wanted to purchase it all together, and I said I wanted to purchase the other items separately (so I could have a simple receipt to file a claim for the prescription). He literally rolled his eyes.You need to feel safe with your pharmacist. He makes me feel like a nuisance. If he makes a mistake, he won't apologize or take ownership. He will try to switch the blame onto you. I have decided never to use the pharmacy at this location again.I hope this CVS gets a new pharmacist. I am not the only customer that feels this way. This CVS is otherwise a nice store with a helpful and caring manager that responds to complaints. The staff do their best to help you find items on the shelves. They have nice sales.

Gadiel and Juno provided excellent service. I saw an item I wanted that was 50% off if I bought a second. They didn’t have a second on shelf. Gadiel helped me look twice and then got his manager, Juno, to look as well. In the end they offered me 25% off on the one item. Great service! Also both of them were very muscular, which obviously doesn’t matter, but it was almost inspiring to see two buff guys being extremely helpful.

Dearthur was SO helpful, attentive, and knowledgeable - helped me find what I needed and got me a few coupons, too! Definite MPV! The store was clean and well organized and had the products I was looking for. Will definitely be back.

WORST CVS in DC. Pharmacy staff are inefficient and unprofessional. I arrived for a confirmed vaccination appointment but couldn’t get it since the person that administers the vaccine had left early due “to the holidays”. Apparently no one else of the 3 people that were there could administer the vaccine. I was not informed by any means that the appointment was cancelled, and staff was also rude and totally unhelpful. DO NOT GET VACCINES HERE.

Pharmacy is not the most attentive, I usually have to call after filling out a prescription transfer form or they won’t do it on their own. Learned this lesson the hard way when I had COVID & expected 8 hours was enough time to transfer and fill an albuterol script. Nope, didn’t even notice the request.

Thought I was overcharged for something, turned out to be my fault (you needed to have their rewards card for the sale). The woman at the counter was extremely helpful and refunded the difference despite me not having the card. I'll definitely come here again.

The CVS by itself is amazing. The pharmcy on the other hand has the most deplorable pharmacist I have ever met. The pharmacy tech was nice while the actual pharmacist is a complete disgrace to humanity. The pharmacist didn't want to take the time to put my medication through my insurance because it was 40 minutes until closing and tried to make me pay full out of post cost. I called my actual pharmacy prior to this and was told that my insurance needed to be called and everything would be fine. He then tried to charge me tripple the cost because I was taking up his time (which was just him sitting in a chair doing nothing) the pharmacy tech knew he was full of it and helped me properly. She was a savior. She asked him when I left if he knew he was screwing with me and he said yes. This man should he fired and his license should be taken from him because of the fact that he tries to pray on the weak. I am absolutely disgusted by the actions of the pharmacist here. I have to take further action into this and have him removed.

On 10/29/21. The pharmacist keep me on hold for one hour and twenty minutes and NEVER, pick up the phone some one working in the pharmacy answer the phone and put me on hold. He came back twice once after about 20 minutes and then again about 55 mins into the call. Each time he apologized for the pharmacist. It was the evening pharmacist. Finally after an hour and twenty minutes I used my other phone to find out why I was on hold so long and a recording said and I quote "the pharmacy is now closed. I am going to find out who the pharmacist on duty was. SMH!

Davida the manager was stellar. I had to get several COVID antigen rapid tests and she went out of her way and above and beyond to make sure I was accommodated so I could continue to operate my business in a safe and meaningful way. My utmost respect and regards to this cvs location and management.

DR FATIMA IS THE WORST PHARMACIST I HAVE EVER SPOKEN TO. THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL, UNCARING PROVIDER I HAVE EVER SPOKEN TO. You'd think because she's a doctor, she'd give more care to the patients in need. Worse person, must hate her job and all the compassion that needs to come with.

I just had the worst experience at this CVS tonight. The woman at the register was extremely rude because I accidentally hit the wrong button at the self checkout. She acted very annoyed when I asked for help and when she couldn't fix the problem, she just deleted my entire scanned items and yelled "start over!" I normally have good to excellent customer service at every CVS I've been to but this one woman was the worst! I wish I could give her zero stars.

The pharmacy ran out of flu shots, and I was told to call back before returning. Waited a week and a half, called beforehand (no one answered), then showed up to be told it would be a 30 minute wait to have someone give me a 2 second flu shot - ridiculous.

I love my local CVS. The staff is super nice and helpful. The store can be very busy at times and they always have service with a smile. They know me when I walk in and are very nice.

very slow!!! had me on hold for 15 minutes after being asked if i could hold, if she didn't hang up so fast i would have said NO. always out of stock. whoever does inventory should quit! i hate this pharmacy

This pharmacy is the worst in the neighborhood and possibly all of DC. Save yourself a lot of aggravation and go somewhere else.
