Well run office and clinic. Our first visit to Bond Vet for some unexpected urgent cat care was at the Arlington, VA clinic in August 2022 (see Google review posted at that time). The Logan Circle clinic in DC is in the same league as Arlington in terms of competent and caring personnel. Going forward, we will entrust the care of our two senior citizen cats to the Logan Circle clinic and Dr. Sidney Devine.

We had a not-great experience at the first vet we tried, so what a relief it was to find Bond Vet. I got an appointment the same day, and every single person we interacted with was so patient and caring with my nervous rescue pup. The facility is clean and inviting. We felt so well cared for throughout the entire visit. The prices are higher than what you might find at an independent vet, but I think I’ve decided it’s worth it to finally feel confident that I’m doing everything I can to take good care of my sweet senior dog. Dr Parry took the time to listen, never rushed us, and answered all my questions. Nurse Zephyr followed up with super helpful advice. They even emailed me the next day to check and see how she was doing. Very grateful.

I really like these vets! The doctors and nurses are kind, knowledgeable, are great about explaining everything and giving their recommendations while respecting the owner’s decisions. I also always appreciate that they list out how much everything will cost so there are never any surprises. Front desk staff is always so friendly and helpful as well! They treat my dogs so so well and sweetly! Also they have water and plenty of good quality treats for the dogs! I will keep bringing my dogs here!

I think I found my puppy's new vet. First when you walk in the VIBE IS SO RELAXING. The gentleman at the from desk already new my pup and I name as soon as we walked in. The vet and her assistant were wonderful and very informative on the proper car for my fur baby. Great customer service can't wait to take her back. Ohh and my pup loved the free treat.

Amazing clinic staff, especially nurse Zephyr and Dr. Parry. They took such great care of our pug both during his neuter and hernia surgery and post-surgical care. We worried about an infection and they saw him immediately. They’ve made it so easy to contact. I was able to coordinate everything through text messaging. Would highly recommend this site to anyone in the area.

Very happy with the care my dog has received here, starting when she was about 9 weeks old to today a year later. She has received all her vaccines here and had her spay performed by Dr. Parry. The staff are all very kind, and I feel like they genuinely care about my dog’s wellbeing.Yes, it’s a bit pricy, but I know many of us are willing to pay top dollar for our pets. Everything has been very transparent and I’m confident she is receiving the care she needs.

Bond Vet in Logan Circle was so great for me and my dog! We are new to the area and hadn't found a vet yet when my dog injured his leg. I was able to get an appointment the next day and scheduling was so quick and easy! The clinic itself was inviting and calming, unlike most other vets I have been to that just feel cold and unwelcoming. Everyone was so knowledgable and kind, and they took their time to make sure they answered all my questions. They are upfront with their pricing and there were no hidden fees or add on charges without my written consent. We will be back for a wellness visit soon!

5 stars all around. This is a great urgent-care style vet that also serves as a primary vet. I forget our vets name but she was great! She talked through a detailed and thorough game plan for addressing my babies skin allergies and was transparent about the process and pricing for everything. The office is extremely friendly and the exam rooms are calm and play soft music which helps my anxious Athena so much. The ease of scheduling an appointment and how quickly you can be seen is hard to come by around here, but they do it. This is the place to bring your fur babies in the neighborhood. Bonus: free treats!

Excellent customer service and it is great to finally have a place open on the weekends for those of us who have limited time during the work week. The vets are great as well, very thorough and detailed and good at communicating issues and follow up with any problems with my fur babies. My favorite, Dr. Devine, is wonderful and has helped me so much in dealing with my older kitty's heart problems. We are so lucky to have found her!

All of my visits at bond vet have been wonderful. The staff are so helpful and they give my dog so much love. I always get greeted with a warm welcome when my dog has an appointment. They really provide thorough care for my dog, always go over prices, and follow up with me to check on his progress. Truly a wonderful vet office and I’ve never left unsatisfied!

I appreciate having an urgent care in the neighborhood, but I am questioning the capabilities of the vets here (or their willingness to use their capabilities). The staff is nice and kind, but apparently, all the doctors are on a break at the same time from 2-3pm or something (so for example, if you go at 2pm, they'll tell you to come back at 3pm). This, in my opinion, defeats the purpose of "urgent care." I think they could arrange and split different time breaks amongst each other.On another note, my rating's reasoning is as follows: I went there for my dog's ear infection--he was flipping his ears more than usual. They did tests and prescribed us meds--and, rightfully, charged me. However, my dog was not really getting better; in fact, his ears started developing some white spots that weren't there before we started these meds, and his flipping/pain was not improving. I thought, "Things happen, I am not mad if the doctors missed something," so I took him there again, about a week after the first visit, letting them know about my dog's situation. They recommended continuing the meds for one more week and charged me again (again, rightfully). However, my dog's ears have gotten much worse with this medication; he started to have really bad pains, the white dots would appear more, and now his skin is peeling.I didn't trust the doctors at this clinic anymore. Obviously, something was going on that they couldn't detect or didn't want to put in the effort to detect--I am not sure which is worse. I also paid them twice and these definitely was not cheap and I didnt want to spend my money on this place again.So, I took my dog to his primary vet clinic instead. They did tests and found out in minutes that my dog has this painful infection called Rods and that my dog now needs steroids for the pain and special pharmacy meds for the infection (thats different than the meds Bond Vet gave us). According to the our primary vet, my dog should not continue the meds that we were initially prescribed by Bond Vet doctors.I can't believe that Bond Vet doctors couldn't figure this out with the same (or similar) ear test that they did (even though we visited them twice) and that they were insisting we keep using the medication that was not helpful--actually causing my dog to get worse. I just can't trust a clinic that got my dog's health issues wrong multiple times in a row, even though they are nice and kind people working there.

Bond Vet at Logan circle has been awesome since our puppy's very first exam. He loves going there, get super excited to go in, they have the best complementary treats that he loves more than any other treats we have at home! Bond's team helped our puppy when he was really sick randomly and wouldn't drink water for 24 hours. They also provided wonderful care for puppy during his neuter procedure and aftercare. I trust that our puppy is cared for and loved anytime at Bond.

First time visiting Bond Vet and had an incredible experience. I booked an appointment and they had multiple options for that same day (something I never experienced at my previous vet). Doctors and staff were very friendly and cared about me and my fur baby (he enjoyed the free treat btw). They also followed up with me the next day via email, to see how he was doing. Went in for a wellness exam and vaccines. It was easy to get an appt, and I was able to do it all online. My dog loved the treats and the vet. Simple appt, didn’t feel rushed, explained things thoroughly to ensure I understood. Overall great experience!

Dr Devine and Asher were super sweet to my somewhat anxious dog who needed treatment for an eye infection. The booking and intake process were super easy and the experience was calm and comforting. It’s been so hard since the pandemic to get urgent vet care. This clinic is a gift to the neighborhood!

There's a line between offering attentive care and gouging pet owners for unnecessary services. We visited this location of bond vet a few weeks ago for my dog's ear infection. They ran tests, applied medication, and said to come back in two weeks for a nurse follow-up in case the infection wasn't fully healed for a redose. Three weeks later, we were back for that followup since my pup was still scratching his slightly inflamed ear. But now in order to get another dose of the same medication, they insisted they needed to run the same tests again, claiming that's the "gold standard". Wouldn't the medical gold standard be to effectively treat patients in one go? And as a business wouldn't it be to treat your customers in an honest manner? It's unclear to me whether the staff here is 1) bad at communicating and setting expectations 2) bad at their jobs / effectively treating illnesses or 3) intentionally coming up with ways to increase costs for pet owners. Whichever it is, it's enough for me to take my dog elsewhere for care going forward.

I've been working hard to remedy a chronic GI issue for my kitty and Dr. Parry has been more than helpful. I appreciate the ease in making appointments, careful and kind attention, but even more so - the fact that this clinic is so responsive via email as I navigate a lot of trial and error with varying treatments for my cat. It really helps to not have to drag in a grumpy cat to the vet every time you need advice. Thank you Dr. Parry and Bond!

Really disappointing, impersonal, and lazy service. They are fine for basic, routine appointments but my dog has had a chronic issue that they have been unable to figure out. They don’t have advanced testing capabilities, such as ultrasounds, which is fine, but for weeks now I have been waiting for them to refer me to a place that does have those capabilities. Each time I call, I need to explain the scenario from the beginning to a new person. I have been told time and time again the Dr. would submit a referral - but radio silence thereafter. I just tried to call again for maybe the 6th or 7th time about this same issue, and after waiting on hold for 10 minutes the line disconnected and I was sent back to the automated main menu…

Both the Dr and the Lead Nurse were both quite unfriendly, Lead Nurse did not attempt to engage my dog at all and then remarked “you’re a difficult dog” when he barked. Unpleasant experience overall, the only reason I came to this vet is because we needed a last minute vaccination, but plan to never come back here.

My puppy Phoenix and I have been a patient with Bond Vet Logan Circle since I got her in April! The staff is very friendly, the services are completed in a timely fashion and there are never more than 2 people waiting in the lobby at once (at least all the times I’ve been)— which is great with a new puppy still learning manners lol. Inside the location is clean, calm, and decorated nicely, and even have treats for the animals who come in. The doctors there are experienced and have great bedside manner. My puppy loves them! Even after the spay, and the unsuccessful blood draws— we are still working on her sitting still lol.Any questions I have regarding Phoenix always gets answered quickly. There is always someone available yo assist me in person or via phone call/ email.Being that it’s in the city the parking sucks but that’s just about it. I also wish they had their own insurance like Banfield for example. But they are transparent with the pricing.

My dog had an accident that caused her to sprain her back. I called Bond Vet at Logan circle and they were extremely accommodating and told me to bring her while they alerted the vet doc and nurses. I knew we would likely need to wait for an urgent care visit, they saw she was in pain and immediately brought us back to a room so she could be comfortable. They saw her quickly, assessed her, performed X-rays and provided her with pain management and a plan. The doctor, nurses and techs all worked extremely well together and compassionately for my dog.Later in the week, as we were transition her medication plan she wasn’t getting enough coverage. I called them and was able to get an updated plan and prescriptions to keep her comfortable. All worked quickly to get the information needed, update her plan and have meds ready for pick up within 1/2 hour. They have also continued to check in on my dog and I brought her for a follow up where she had another in-depth assessment by the vet and received an updated plan of action. All made sure I understood and answered all of my questions. Also all of the assessments were done with me in the room so I could also answer questions and understand what was going on. I will now be bringing my dog to them for her primary care needs as well. Incredible staff from the front staff to the clinical staff.

My dog and I went in because he had an ear infection. They did take care of him, the staff was knowledgeable and the rooms were clean. I will give them that.I'm leaving a 2 star review because their quoting practices are the worst I have seen in any industry. After examining my dog, one of the Vets turned the computer towards me to sign for the quote which read $700. After getting a detailed explanation of each line item, I realized $450 of that quote were services I had not requested.After working the quote down to $250, I asked for more detail on a line item before completely agreeing to pay that amount. He said that I could sign the quote and that he would get me more details before they moved forward with that line item.That did not happen. By the time the other vet came back they had already administered that line item and I was going to be charged for it. I asked if there were alternative treatments and they said no, and confrontationally said to me "I thought you came in here to get his ear treated." After explaining that I did want to get his ear treated, I asked if there were any more cost effective ways to treat the ear, and then I found out that there was. I ended up getting a prescription for a treatment that was less than half the cost of their in house treatment.I felt like the whole time I was getting high pressure sold, and that if I didn't argue with the staff I would have been charged $700. The whole experience was very uncomfortable. I will not be going back.Go find a vet who has clearer quoting practices.

I was a little wary about Bond given some of the reviews I saw about the company being “money hungry” and not caring about the pets but that was not at all my experience. The vets were so so kind and took time to sit on the floor with my cats Two and Three to get them comfortable and feeling secure before their exam. Even when they got skittish during their vaccines, the vet team kept calm and lighthearted made the whole process so incredibly easy. I’m moving to another city in just a few weeks and I would gladly bring my cats to the Bond vet in that city given this experience! Thank you Dr. Leah!
