Lawrence runs a tight ship at this Ace Hardware! I can always depend on this team to guide me to the things I need and answer my questions correctly and thoroughly (or connect me with someone who can!) The staff always seem happy to be there and happy to help. Inventory is accurately reflected in the app. Store is organized and tidy. This is by far my favorite Ace in the DC area. Highly recommend.

It's a great store with a lot packed into a relatively small space - an amazing selection of items. What makes it a terrific store are the staff members who are very knowledgeable, helpful, patient and fun. I really appreciate the staff there.

I came here at the very last minute and right before they closed this Sunday. Because I needed to pickup some last minute items for a new home that we had purchased. The first thing that I needed was a duplicate key made for the house. Even though it was minutes before they closed, a cool employee was able to help me out and he made they key in under two minutes! Then I needed to get a small container of spackle to fix some of the small holes in the walls that the previous owners had left behind. This hardware store carries just about everything related to the house. They even have an indoor garden section. I'm glad that this store is here as it's one of the few hardware stores inside of the city.

Relentlessly helpful and plain spoken, I've asked a few things that they weren't sure how to answer, not many but a few. I know they weren't certain because they told me, I am not sure about that and don't want to give you bad advice. Go. Go again. They want to make your life easier and they succeed.

Super friendly staff, super positive, polite, and the team work vibe is all over the place. I love going to this shop just because the staff kindness and the whole vibe of the store is at top. They're very helpful and always ready to assist you. Totally recommend going there. Especially if you live around, it's the only hardware store in the area.

These are some of the nicest people in the world!! My dog got his head stuck in a pretzel jar and though they didn't have the right size shears in stock they let me use theirs. Freed him immediately. 11/10 dog service.

Extremely helpful and friendly. I would not consider myself handy, and they could not be more accommodating. When you walk in they immediately ask to help and will not only direct you to a product, but will work with you to find the exact solution to your problem. Best neighborhood hardware store around.

Everyone at this Ace Hardware is incredibly kind, helpful, and knowledgeable!I went in seeking a screw that would fit a warped sleeve in a new piece of furniture, and Chris went above and beyond to help me fix my problem. He asked me to bring in my furniture, offered me a dolly to wheel it in from my car, and used some tools free of charge at the store to help get the screw properly threaded so I could finish building my furniture. It was so kind of him to offer his assistance, I likely would have had to exchange the furniture if I didn’t have his help.I have come to this location a few times and I have always been incredibly impressed by the service. Huge thank you to Chris!

I take my dog here twice a week while I browse their new plant selections. The staff are all so nice and helpful. I love that they shower my dog with attention. My dog loves it too. She always tries to drag me in for treats.They have a great plant selection. They change things up but you can usually find a good array of basics and less common plants. They often have small hoyas, peperomias, aglaonemas, and other stuff I’m looking for. I always look forward to checking out the new stock on Wednesday and Friday.Thanks, Ace
