I had to pick up shelf pegs and was near this Home Depot so I stopped in.The customer service rep I encountered was not only helpful but very personable.She initially couldn't find exactly what I needed and when I had first approached her I knew she was busy using her laptop at a nearby desk.She eagerly got up to help me and when she wasn't able to find what I needed she reached out to another associate.She then directed me to the aisle where they could be found. It was a pleasant experience chatting with her. I was able to also find what I needed as a result of her not giving up and handing me off to someone else. I wish I remembered her name because she deserves to be mentioned.Sometimes you come across the nicest souls when you least expect it.The store itself was tidy and seemed to have good energy. There also were no long lines like other Home depots I've been to in prior days.

Yesterday I needed help in the lumber department and a young man named Shaquille came to my assistance. He was polite and eager to please, helped me at the saw, escorted me to the register with UPC photographed on his phone, and then waited for me to get my car so he could load my cut plywood for me. It was wonderful customer service from start to finish. Thank you, Shaquille, for making me feel like a valued customer.

Worse home depot ever . If your not white they won't help you . I sat in the plumbing aisle waiting for help , for about an hour . I asked like 6 to 7 white employees and they looked at wrong like I didn't belong there or worthy of there time . This is not how you treat your customers nor run your business. I spend over $1000,000 a year in there but I get no respect nor curiosity

Horrible service from customer service and manager. I purchased a kitchen faucet and it had a missing part. It was the only one they had that would suit my needs. It was the last one of the small stock they keep so I couldn't simply exchabge it. The have a cheaper model that has the exact same part I needed. So the simple solution is that they have a missing part from a cheaper model instead of a more expensive model. But no, that makes too muxh sense for them. They said it creates an inventory problem. I said fine, I would purchase the cheaper model and then return it instead of the one I needed. That wasn't good enough for some reason. The manager made faces and had to do some work instead. The plumbing dept is poorly stocked also. I had to purchase ancient gate valves instead of ball valve shutoffs.What a poor experience in every way.If I had more time I would have returned everything and went to a real supply house.

I walked in on at weekday at 7:45 am. I was wondering around clueless when Twan stopped me. I told him I was painting kitchen cabinets and I wasn’t sure where things were. Twan walked me around the store and helped me pick up every item on my list. He went as far as to consult another employee in a different department and stuck with me through the discussion. I was in and out under 30 min. If Twan hadn’t helped me, it would’ve easily taken over an hour. Staff at the check out lines were also great & helped me find boxes for my plants. Amazing and caring employees here!

Love this location and the people in it. My only reason for my review today is to let upper management know it would be great if they took Apple Pay for payment. Home Depot makes WAY too much money not to update their payment equipment!

I went to purchase firestick for my tv. The firestick was not in the display area. Home Depot associate Sylvester went to Great pains to try to locate it by checking online, and physical inventory in the store. Shout out to Sylvester for doing such an exemplary job.

This is the worst Home Depot of all Home Depots. We met with an HD designer and designed our kitchen. We then ordered our custom kitchen cabinets. HD designer submitted the incorrect design, causing the incorrect cabinets to be made. They then wanted to charge us for their mistake and sent damaged cabinets. They called multiple times, saying that our order was ready for pickup. We arrived numerous times to no order. It was never prepared. We spoke to the department head and manager multiple times, and they are no better. Communication amongst management could be better as well. We complained to corporate, but no results. Next up is a complaint to the AGO. Stay away from this HD.

This store is terrible with their choice of employees and most importantly, terrible management. There's not 1 employee that knows what they're talking about when you have a question and you're always passed along to the next employee who has no idea either. All of their listed amounts of materials on the website are very far from being correct. One would think that management would properly train their employees for which ever section or department they're going to work in but, that's certainly not the case. It's amazing that anyone who works here is even capable of being employed.

My wife has been out of town for 10 days and I thought I would surprise here with a fully painted basement. I spent 900 dollars on Sunday pulled an all nighter painting the basement walls. Wake up from a nap and go back to the store to buy another 600+ dollars of stuff planning to get the job done to surprise her, But when I am getting ready to Pay I realized I left my wallet on the kitchen counter. I call and wake up my assistant at 955pm she sends over a Passport and Drivers license pic on my phone. This really young nice guy was trying to help me. He said if I applied for a Home Depot credit Card I could buy it and Get home. Then a manager shows up and says if I don't have a physical ID there is no way to get the Credit Card. Living in a Digital age it strikes me so silly that a manager level person would shut down a $684.00 sale because of his lack of common sense. I find it so frustrating as some one who spends easily 30k a year at the Wilmington Home Dept on Route 13. The Lack of common sense is astounding so I drove home and write this review because the store is now closed. Crazy world we live in. Henry Mellon

We purchased a dishwasher for delivery. It took about 20 minutes for the sales associate to answer the page to provide assistance because they were having a Labor Day party. Delivery was scheduled for 9/12. The delivery men showed up but since they were not provided with the plug at the Home Depot warehouse they were unable to install the dishwasher. So they took it back and gave me a number to call and it took 45 minutes for someone to tell me I had to get rescheduled. So I called the Home Depot store where I purchased the dishwasher. I advised that I would not cancel the order if it could be delivered the next day. They were not able to do that. Did not care about the sale at all. Incompetent.

Always an adventure and not a good one. I sometimes choose curbside pick up and never get curbside delivery. I always have to go in, wait in their crazy customer service line, to wait for someone to try and did my order. Once I went in and reahopped do my entire order then the cashier didn't know how to complete it.

Update 7/17/23They are back on the ball and my order today was as fast as I've ever seen. Keep up the great work!!!I guess they do the best they can with the help they have. If you order for curbside pickup, you should expect at least a 45 minute wait. While you are waiting try not to get upset at the employees roaming g the parking lot doing nothing, I am pretty sure they do not know any better. If you call to speak to customer service expect to be hung up on. Now there are a handful of great employees in this store, just pray they are on shift during your visit, I think the delaware lottery gas better odds though. Currently as I type this I have been for 30 minutes, and as I wait for my purchase to be brought to me via a service the store does offer, I am watching 3 employees roam and do nothing. I am no retail manager, but I am pretty sure it takes almost no brain power or skill to walk an order to a vehicle. A good question is, if the store is so understaffed why are the employees in the parking lot doing nothing? 🤔

The five stars are for the young woman who helped me get a heavy AC off the shelf all by her self, and then put it in my car for me! There was no one around to help me so I went over to the self check out area and asked the young woman working there if there was someone who could help me with getting an AC. she said she would help and came with me (it was close to the registers) and picked up the 60 lb ac and put it on a trolly thingy for me to take to the check out. She then said she would help me put it in my car. She didn't complain or even try to get someone else to do this for me even though she was really busy helping people at the check out. Anyway, I wish I had noticed her name but she was there today around 11:30 or 12 working the self check out. She deserves a raise!

I've been back and forth with Home Depot for the past week on a $2,500 flooring order and I wish I bought at Lowes. I placed an order for flooring, paid $130 extra for it to be delivered in my home. I was told Home Depot would contact me to arrange a drop off time on Tuesday 7/25. Never received a call. On Tuesday at 7:28 am I got an email saying they were dropping off between 7-11am. I called HD to ask to push the time back, not sure why I was notified about the drop off time AFTER the time already started. The HD employee told me they notified the delivery team to not deliver since they couldn't push the time back. I get a call at 7:55am from the delivery team saying I'm not answering my door...A different employee calls me Tuesday afternoon to scold me saying I didn't answer my delivery after I asked for that time slot. I told the employee that no one contacted me to arrange a time AND a different employee told the driver not to drop off. She arranged for Saturday 7/29 drop off saying someone would contact me for a time slot.Thursday 7/27 I get a call from this Home Depot asking if they should cancel my order?! What is going on?! I called back, the phone rang for 10 minutes, I told them employee on the phone I'm returning the call about my order, she placed me on hold. After being on hold for 20+ minutes I hung up. This is absolutely ridiculous, go to Lowes or another company that isn't all over the place.

Seeing the recent poor reviews, I felt compelled to share my experience which was excellent. I was assisted by a nice young gentleman in the tubs section. He was happy to get a forklift to retrieve my tubs from the top shelf. I later received excellent advice from another assoc. Then had pleasant check out experience.

Sparse choice of flower pots. I like clay pots, as they hold in the moisture, so you don't have to water your plants as often. Clay pots are pricey. I found large plastic pots there. To cover the dull colors I purchased contact paper, easily removed, to brighten the outer sides of the large flower pots. They do have very good prices on planting soil for house plants, flowers ... etc.

This store is conveniently located with a decent selection. The staff tries to be helpful by telling you where items are only to find out the item isn't there at all. 4 people did this to me one day. I finally just left and went to lowes. They Mean well but have no idea where items are...at all. Cleanliness is an issue as well...inside and out.

Service terrible. Ask for store manager after it was our second trip to the store that day we picked up a couple cabinets but couldn’t get the last one because they having inventory to come back after 2. We got their about 2:30 and waited almost a hr some lady said she was in-charge and told me waiting for someone to help I walk to isle where we needed to get cabinets on way and saw 6-8 employee’s sitting just in main isle sitting around doing nothing but talking then she said waiting not including others I saw standing around doing very little and so called acting mgr said waiting for a electric lift or away to get it down I ask her are you talking about the electric high low or one with steps she said yes none available I said you not talking about the lifts in the isle. Right next to the cabinet then she said waiting for help to get it. The short walk to the isle I saw 6-8 employees sitting around doing nothing just sitting their talking or playing on phone. If I wasn’t helping a friend using my truck I would told her just to refund the money and go someplace else to get them. Can’t figure the lady who was in charge being so clueless. I even offered to walk up the steps to get them and said need to be qualified to use it when I told her I used high lows and electric jacks for almost 40 years she looked at me and ask her it’s completely unexceptable the service in that place I should applied for a job and ask her do I get a chair to sit on all day and get paid doing nothing.

My husband placed order Saturday afternoon. He did not receive a confirmation that the order was ready in 2 hours like the order stated. He calls the store and they say that it should be ready. 3 pm no call, order is not ready. He goes to the store for them to tell him that they did not have part of the order in stock! No one called to tell him. He spoke to the manager and the manager could care less! We place orders so that we do not have to deal with the lackadaisical employees who NEVER work in the area that you have a question about! I have been told that the store doesn’t carry an item and I find it after searching. Last experience we will have with Home Depot! My family will not spend another dime at the Home Depot. Done!!!!! Lowes employees are much more helpful and walk you to items in the store.
