I'm able to get brand items that I can't find in any other Delaware location that I can find in New York. Their prices are a little higher than other supermarkets in Delaware, but I guess it's because of the neighborhood, and the majority of their shoppers have foodstamps. They have entirely too many crackheads and drug addicts hanging outside. Feels unsafe

This is my second choice supermarket because is very closed to my house and I find pretty much everything I need I like that they had kept all the Spanish produce in the same aisle and make it easy for me to get what I need..the reason why is my second choice is because they are smaller and I find a lot more selections of produce in the other supermarket but prices are pretty much the same

Went to the bakery for a birthday cake and appreciated how the baker last minute did a hello kitty on the cake and made it very special for my daughter that day. Super friendly and left happy.

I call this the hood supermarket because I'm from Brooklyn NY and at this supermarket you can get some good deals. I went because they had the 24 case of Deer Park/Poland Spring water for $2.99. I purchased 20 cases for me and other family members. I wish they get that sale back.

I haven't been in this grocery store since december. I walked very close to it recently so maybe that's why Google Maps is requesting that I review it. It's a store. It has stuff. You can buy that stuff. The prices aren't great. The prices aren't horrible. That's like with most grocery stores. What do you want me to say? I'm not here to lie to you. But then again, that previous statement itself could be a lie. I assure you it is not. I don't expect you to believe me. I don't even know you. Have a good day!

I don't usually frequent this store but I made a special trip for their $8.88 Dungeness sale they have going on. It was by far some of the best crabs I've had in ages. So much so, that I returned that same evening for an additional 3lbs! The men were helpful & the minced garlic was de-lish!Keep it up!

We were without reliable transportation for awhile so this ended up being our grocery store for a bit. I wish I had better to tell you but here we are. The bakery department is the best thing in this store and considering the neighborhood you deal with what you have. The deli meats were nice, but often very close to expiration dates. We would buy a package of pre sliced deli meats and within a few days they had expired. I have never been to a grocery store where this has happened. The aforementioned spend $50 and get a free ride home was also very sporadic, but luckily there are some times where for a small fee a private driver can take you home. They're usually out front.Wouldn't recommend this place but if you live in the ghetto or near it, you have to take what you can get.

Many of the prices were extremely high and the store is old and dated. You can find some Great Values though. The front door was stuck shut and I had to bang at the door for a few minutes before someone could notice. The employees were very friendly and helpful.

Needs better employees over the roof prices and they claim they stay open until 12 a.m when they really close whenever they feel like it. Store always stinks and products collect dust. Wish there was a no star option.

I am a legally blind handicapped lady and I needed help because my motor chair had needed a charge for me to get back home on broom street . and I asked customer service lady to please let me charge my chair there, and was asked to leave the store. I have to wait ybtul the light turns green and she had the nerve to tell me to leave the he store because it took too long! I am putting this store on Blast! Is this how you treat a disabled senior citerzen? I left the store and it broke down again. And I was stuck on third street. What kind of business is that? And I was a customer!!! Please let me know what you think. I will have conversation with the manager of the store on tomorrow.

The store always stink.. Most of the employees are ghetto and unprofessional. I refuse to eat meat from there. The prices are high especially to be one of the main grocery stores in the city. People use this grocery store the most cause a lot of people have to walk to grocery shop. It's blocked off where u can't even bring a stroller through in without having someone open the bars. I understand shopping cart stealing but maybe you should hire a cart watcher or collector. Then inside always stinks like rotten meat, the fruit last about two days, the bathroom be dirty, and staff is definitely unprofessional. The prices on some items is ridiculous a pack of diapers is $10+ and basic shelf items high price. Never stocked, no seasoning, no heartburn pills, not to mention the prices are high when they do have the items. You need to stop taking advantage of people living in poverty, on food stamps, and less fortunate. Your store is disgusting in every way and you have a nerve to have high prices smh.. Do better fresh grocer or great value which ever u want to call yourself. InsteadOf great value should be called: No Value Since Your Less Fortunate and Can't Make It No Where Else.. even add a hahaha at the end cause that's what it feels like your store does the community laugh at them

There is often a horrible odor in this store. Sometimes it fish other times it smells like rotting food. It's quite disgusting and nauseating. The fruit is usually not fresh. I shop here when I have no option to go somewhere else.

It’s no longer called The Fresh Grocer! It’s called Adams Great Valu but it is NOT a value at all. If not for the neighborhood convenience, I wouldn’t even shop here. Their prices are insanely high and often different from what’s on the shelf tag versus what rings at the register. Make sure to check expiration dates, too. The food may be expired. Just because it’s a neighborhood store, I don’t think they should be operating with substandard foods and high prices.

Unfortunately people in this area don't have many choices and this store is the worst of them all. Customer service is non existent. Prices are higher than Organic All Natural Specialty Stores for generic brand. They don't honor all advertised prices. There is literally no incentive to shop here.

This store has its ups and downs.the prices were reasonable until the new owner bought ther store now everything has gone up by 50 to a dollar. They do offer shuttle services if you spend $50 thats not hard to do with the price jacking. You can get someone to help you with your groceries to the car since you can't take carts to your carbon if your not willing to pay that person to take them to your car you better let them know before hand other wise they willing bug you to death until you pull off. Other than that it a NICE STORE 👌 😌

It's okay. About what you'd expect from a grocery store in this location. I'm just glad it's there at all. You won't find the highest quality versions of most items here, but that's expected. Everything always looks decent, and the employees are fine IME ... I just wish the deli had decent salami lol.

I am never going back to this particular store EVER AGAIN!!!! The deli sells Lunch meat that smells off, the customer service absolutely does NOT exist.....do yourself a favor and don't go here, it might be more difficult to go elsewhere, but it will be worth it..They advertise delivery if you order $50 or more, but they refuse to answer phone, and they will take the phone off the hook for hours!! F@《€ this place!!!! They don't even have the right phone number online!!

This Store is okay but I don't like how they have the gate locked and you need to wait for a security guard to open it just because they don't want the carts to be stolen there are better ways to keep the carts from being stolen and make it more accessible than it is now. Being in a wheelchair makes it difficult in this store is closest to my house they need to come up with a better solution one day the security guard took the key home and we couldn't even get into the store. What if we were inside the store and they took the key home there was no other ways off the sidewalk

Decent prices and a nice selection of products. The main reason I come here is for the deli which offers pretty good food, especially if you catch it freshly made. Unfortunately, it’s not in the best area which can lead to some unwanted encounters but nothing too wild. Overall, it’s a decent location if you want to pick up a few items or lunch.

I really like the way they redone the Fresh Grocer. I have not been there since it has been remodeled and when I did go awesome in there I really love them there you have more variety room to move around, especially when we are disabled! And we are in power chairs!, gives you more room to drive around and it's awesome that they have those electric chairs also that you can use in their store for the ones that does not have a power chair of Their Own.

The clerk was super patient with me when I had trouble. She knows all the quirks of the credit card reader! I found her to be very pleasant and sweet.You can't take the carts to your car, so be aware of that if you buy a lot at once. You'll have to make multiple trips!

I buy my meet here and I choose it carefully and the prices are awesome....so If you have any complain about the quality of the product, you must discuss it with the manager. Is very important for customers to know about it. If you treat employers right they will do it to. I love them. They are very nice.

Super hood but prices are always good on meats. 🤷🏽‍♀️. Can’t take carts into parking lot (yes, you read right) but there are non-employee “helpers” that will ask / offer to carry your bags from the curb to your car. So bring some spare dollars for their assistance. The customer service desk always seems to be closed in the evening and during the day, they customer service agent is behind closed doors in the office and you have to go looking for someone and plead for them to come work the front desk. 🙄 Oh! They will steam crabs legs with butter, garlic and old bay, when you buy them there.
