I would definitely recommend Dogtopia. My dogs love going there for daycare. The staff is friendly, caring and interactive with my dogs and they love them! I check in on them during the day on the cameras, and they are always having a good time and are tired out when they get home.

My dog loves this place! Every time I pull up he is excited to run through the door and see his friends. I am glad knowing my pup is in a safe well cared for environment. The staff are very friendly and you can tell they care deeply for the dogs and their wellbeing.

Our dog, Maggie, has been going to Dogtopia a few days a week for the past two years. She has a great time and loves everyone that works there! It is really comforting to know that she is safe during the hours she is not at home with us!

We have always had a good experience while boarding our dog here, but due to their boarding policies constantly changing, they lost us as a customer. Our dog has boarded there several times over 2 years, but if you don't bring your dog to daycare constantly, you have to pay for extra days of daycare before you can board your dog again. The amount of time you have to bring your dog in changes every time. 1 time it was 1 day of daycare. Last time we called, they wanted us to pay for a week of daycare before we boarded our dog there again. A dog who has never had a behavioral issue there in the past. This is robbery and extortion!! Basically a way just to get you to spend more money! Sorry but we are not paying you hundreds of dollars for daycare for the privilege of spending hundreds of more dollars for overnight boarding.

Everyone is really nice at this location. Quick drop off & pick up. I love being able to check in on my pup throughout the day on their webcams. Happy my girl can burn some energy while I’m at work.Would reccomend.

my dogs love coming here! we pull into the parking lot and they get soooo excited! i love how i can always watch the cameras to see how they are doing! people here are also so nice and definitely care for the dogs in the building! 💛

Dogtopia is far from a utopia for the dogs: the infrastructure is very poor. The playrooms have no windows, are very small, it is very smelly, and stinky everywhere and there is only a very small outdoor place. Watch out, their website is a scam; the rooms are not at all as presented on the website. If you are boarding your dog at Dogtopia, nobody is sleeping in the building at night. What if your dog has a seizure or a heart attack? There is no supervising at night. Also, their pricing is complex and not transparent at all. Don’t go there, keep your dog away from this place.

Love this place, highly recommend. Facilities, staff, accommodations are awesome! Reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is why are you guys asking for tips? The pricing is already the highest in area. Feels like maybe employees should be paid more and we are being asked to subsidize that pay by tipping instead of giving them a raise 🤷‍♂️edit - dropped a star, just too expensive. Can’t justify price.

What an absolute abominationWebsite and representative were and are so misleadingExpected a nice shampoo and trimming of dog's coat and nails - none of which came to fruitionThey don't groom - only shampoo which they did an awful job of - hair around mouth still tangled and smelling of the dog food from feeding earlier in the dayStill had crust on corners of his eyesDidn't trim nails because they said his quicks were too longDon't get me started on whether they did anything with the teeth if his beard still smelled of breakfastThe works my rear-end - he came out looking the same as when he went inAnd the kicker is that they only take digital currencyThat will his first and last visit to this so called "dog spa"

Only interested in serving members and will cancel on you last minute. They are inconsiderate, dishonest, and not reliable. I do not recommend Dogtopia to anyone who cares about their dogs and doesn’t want to waste their time.

My dog, Jax, loves Dogtopia. I am not giving 2 stars because of the way my dog is treated. I am giving 2 stars due to price transparency. The staff is friendly and Jax enjoyed his time there. We have used both the daycare and boarding services and he is always happy and well cared for. My issue is with the lack of transparency when it comes to cost. I went for the meet and greet, did the 3 days of daycare, and then boarded Jax for 8 days. I had no issue with cost until we boarded him. It was explained to me that there was a charge for boarding Jax, which I did not mind. What was NOT explained to me was that you pay that fee per day PLUS the daily daycare cost when boarding. This is also not clear on their website. It cost us way more than we budgeted for and was a shock when I paid the bill. I wish this would have been made clear to me from the beginning. I would have chosen another place that fit into my budget. Dogtopia is worth looking into and using, but beware of the pricing and be sure to ask a lot of questions about it as they will not voluntarily give you all the information.

We absolutely love Dogtopia! The staff is so patient and compassionate with the dogs. Everyone who works here is incredibly communicative and considerate, too. This daycare is organized (dogs are separated by size and temperament), always clean, and the dogs are treated with such care. Our dog Fraya is very high energy and active, and they make sure she’s with other dogs on a similar wavelength and in a safe environment. The staff also knows when she needs to take a break to rest, which is so important and not training you find at every doggy daycare. Fraya is so happy here that she runs straight inside to say hello to the Dogtopia team. We couldn’t be happier with Dogtopia and their services. Highly recommend!

Great location and affordable prices! Our puppy had such a great time here and I especially enjoyed how tired she was when I came to pick her up!! Watching her play all day was fun and I wish we had these back where we live in North Dakota. Whenever we’re in town again or we visit some place else that has this business we will be using the services!

Was charged a daycare and boarding charge when boarding my dog for 7 days. Was told differently and shocked to pay over $600 when we were expecting $42 a day. Also does not specify on their website that we’d be double charged. Great facility just not very transparent and overpriced

My glam puppy don't like this place for soggy daycare. ALL the dogs regardless of their size is in one big room all day. I feel for the price you are paying there should be more structure. The small dogs should definitely be separated from the big ones. I don't like that you have eo schedule an appointment each time to drop off the dog. The only positive thing about this place is that ot gives the dog owner access to see what the dogs are doing. I wouldn't recommend it to any of my friends.

My little Kobe loves it at Dogtopia. He doesnt get to play with other dogs often so he looks forward to interacting with the dogs. The employees love him and he loves them right back. I love that I can check on him with the cameras. One of the main reasons I choose this place. Keep up the great work !

Love dogtopia and my dog loves it too! The staff is very friendly and professional. My dog gets so excited to go there and comes home exhausted. I love keeping her active and social during this time of social distancing. I also need to make sure my dog has some distance from us so when we return to work she doesn't suffer from anxiety too much. I have utilized the daycare and overnight.

My dog never wants to leave daycare when its time to go home! I love that I'm able to see him interact with all of his friends and the associates at Dogtopia via camera and he's always tired when he gets home. I believe that my dog is safe at this location. I have heard of many different dog daycare that are unsanitary, poor customer service, spray and hose dogs for normal wrestle play and dogs coming home hurt. I'm happy to say that I never experienced any of those things here.

Lily has been going to Dogtopia of Wilmington for several years and I recommend them. Lily’s first visit was for weekend boarding and I was a little nervous. Well, really nervous. Dogtopia did an initial evaluation to make sure Lily was compatible with the other pups and I was able to do my own evaluation. I was impressed with the facility and other services offered at Dogtopia. Plus, the staff are courteous and love dogs. Lily stayed the weekend, did well and was even freshly bathed when I picked her up that Monday. Not long after that, Lily started going to Doggy Daycare. She goes on average twice a week. Lily loves her Doggy Daycare days and gets excited on the drive there., After I drop her off, she has play time, sleep time and then play time. She’s older and does play around a bit but usually just sleeps. I know this because I can watch her live at the convenience of a laptop and/or cell phone when there are a few minutes free during the day. Lily is family. She is my best friend and I am no longer nervous about taking her there. That nervousness has been replaced with trust. I trust Dogtopia of Wilmington with my best friend when I have a long day at the office.

Lacey loves Dogtopia! She is always so excited when we get there! The staff has been great during the pandemic and come out to the car to get Lacey in the morning and bring her out to the car at pickup time. It's nice to be able to check the video during the day to see what the pups are up to. Lacey always seems to be enjoying herself! Would highly recommend! I was initially hesitant about the fact that the dogs go to the bathroom in the room but the staff clean up after them immediately and I have not noticed any odor on Lacey when she comes home (as I have from another popular daycare that has turf flooring).
