Fanatically delicious is absolutely on point. Whilst in Delaware, I made a mission to try what I heard several times was the “Greatest Sandwich in America.” Even though it was 20 minutes from my stay, I’m so glad I made the trek to Capricotti’s because this sandwich SLAPS.The Bobbie is a Thanksgiving sandwich. I found the cranberry sauce to be significantly less sweet compared to other similar creations. This was perfect as it didn’t overtake the other flavors. The turkey was delicious. It didn’t have that weird, off taste that deli turkey sometimes has (IYKYK). The stuffing was wonderfully seasoned and delivered so much flavor. All these wonderful components combined deliver what I only can describe as heaven to my tastebuds. I ordered a medium (10 inches) and ate the entire thing in one sitting. The only thing that saddens me is I live 3000 miles away, so the likelihood of me experiencing this again is slim. I also hope I have the opportunity to try their other sandwiches because if this one was so amazing, I bet the others are equally as great. If you’re a tourist, I cannot stress this enough: GO HERE. And get this sandwich. And others while you’re at it.

Great tasting sandwiches, but not what we ordered. Absolute chaos in the store. Manager did nothing to organize costumers ordering and picking up or to organize and assist her hard working staff. Manager created a very uncomfortable atmosphere by yelling and telling customers that staff was new and had never worked football season and that she's turning off the phones for Super Bowl Sunday. No problem, we'll take our business elsewhere.

Great sandwich choices! We love their cheesesteaks and the Bobbie (Turkey Thanksgiving on a roll). Best to order and pick up to avoid the wait.Parking: Limited spots to park for the whole strip of stores Sharing the lot.

Get the Bobbie. You won’t regret it. Sandwiches have been made by the same crew for years.Pro tip: ask them to get packed for travel. You can take them to the game and they wrap it for you to travel.

I Just moved down the street so I thought I’d try capriottis out. I won’t be back. Their “Premium grilled chicken” on the salad does not look like the pictures and was slimey. I was too sketched-out to eat it. They weren’t that busy but had a lot of guys there. Some on headphones. Some swearing and whispering to each other. I won’t be back here. The other bad reviews are right on. I’ll stick to going to Casapullas from now on.I tired Casapullas before and they are way friendlier and have amazing food!

The Bobbie is a good sandwich.. the bread isn’t too thick and they pack it with turkey, stuffing and cranberry sauce.. the people behind the counter are a delight to talk to.. really nice people.. I would recommend checking it out.. half a sub was $6.. reasonable pricing..

We got a large wagyu cheesesteak with fried onions and (this may have been a mistake on my part) provolone cheese. It has a very long roll. It did not pass the eye test. When I unwrapped it all I saw was the very long roll. The meat was good. Getting fried onions may have also been a mistake because I tasted a lot of fried onions. I think the hardiness of the provolone cheese took away from the tenderness of the wagyu beef. I'll take the hit for ordering provolone cheese. I think Capriotti's could really help themselves by having a suggested way to order your American wagyu beef cheesesteak. I am pretty sure that 90% of the Cheesesteak eating population doesn't know what Wagyu beef is and/or the best way to order it. We are glad we tried hangman Brewing. Fun Goth Decor and live bands, not my thing but everyone else seemed to really like it. Fun story about Hangman Brewing, live bands and me.

Excellent service and it was crowded! Inside it looks like a mom and pop type store and there isn't a place to sit down and eat. Ordered the famous Bobbie sandwich and it was outstanding! The turkey is freshly carved.

Want to specify that this is the silverside rd store Had a lousy Bobbie thought it was just a fluke, ordered again, same thing . Stuffing tastes like thawed out uncooked stovetop , meat watery like it had been thawed. You have to order xtra meat just to have a decent amount of meat. I will never order from this store again. It appears dirty and workers don’t seem like they even want to be bothered. It’s a shame this used to be a good store , don’t know what happened. My last Bobbie was sopping wet the cranberry was watery and just thrown on it. I was taking this an hr away and it was a disgrace , my sister can’t get them by her. Even she noticed how much different it was. So soggy roll fell apart dripping. It can’t be because I traveled an hr with it because I’ve traveled 4 with their hoagies before

We ordered cheesesteaks from Capriotti's on Silverside Rd, Wilmington, DE. The staff was friendly, the restaurant was clean and our order was almost ready when we arrived despite being rather busy. The cheesesteaks had a great taste and our order was made correctly. The only complaint is the meat was a bit tough and/or possibly a little over cooked. A good experience overall.

I have to comment what I just witness, has nothing to do with the food but more about respect. A custom brought back a sub that had onions on it and he didn't went onions. Okay Gentlemen with Braids Apologize and took his sub to make another. It wasn't the until (white lady) I can assume is the manager. Yells at the gentleman with braids to "Write down the order" then she switched the sub and throw it in the trash. Then looks over to a customer (white lady) and makes faces like she is dealing with kids. It took everything in me not to say something to this women Because she has 3 black men working there and for her to yell at them was totally uncalled for and every unprofessional. All 3 of those gentleman was very nice about. The vide I got was this is something she does. The gentleman did But noticed my face, and made a face back to tell its okay. But if this is how she talks to her employees this its right. I understand the area but no One of any races should be talked to like this. Believes me this isnt black or white thing its a respect thing and that women didnt have any. Food is always good!!!

Capriotti's offers one of the best Italian hoagies in the area. Their cheese steaks are worth trying as well. The sandwiches have always tasted fresh and I have been very satisfied. I really like that you can get a kids grilled cheese sandwich if you buy an entree. The employees seem to have a no nonsense approach which borders on unfriendliness. It's not bad enough to deter me from ordering here. Just don't expect a warm welcome when you place or pick up an order.Kid-friendliness: Free kids grilled cheese sandwich with a purchase.

This will be the 2nd time I've eaten here and got food poisoning. A few years ago I ate a sandwich from here and got VERY sick. My body rejected the food very quickly. I decided to give it a 2nd chance today, figured years later there would be changes but no. I got sick AGAIN. If the owner or operator of this place reads this, pay close attention to what I'm about to say because your handling food. Not only is the atmosphere and service horrible, but the way you guys are handling the food is going to kill someone. Your product is not fresh, poorly handled. It's got bacteria in it from bad handling habits. I suggest you get a new team and oversee what's going on here before you get shut down. Don't offer me a response just make immediate changes before someone gets sick or worse. Have a team meeting right away. I will never eat here again.

Food is great. Pick up is a bit chaotic because there is one woman ( blonde hair, middle age) very loud and makes unprofessional comments and little abusive the way she speaks to the customers. I think she could tone it down and be respectful towards the customers. Again, the food is great and the majority of the help are quiet, reserved and work really hard and efficient. thanks

Great DE sub shop that has been around a long time . I tried the Impossible cheese steak for the first time.. I haven't had a cheese steak in decades, so I was excited to try their plant based cheese steak and it was very good...it comes plain with just cheese so don't forget to request any condiments you may want on it.Vegetarian options: There's the cheese sub (though not vegan obviously) also a vegetarian chicken cheese steak and the Impossible cheese steak.

The big black guy that works here is extremely rude and ignorant. Never says hi when I ask how is he doing. Rolls his eyes whenever a customer walks in cause he's lazy and knows there's more work to do. Extremely rude attitude when taking orders. He makes me feel uncomfortable whenever I go here. He is extremely slow , the store gets backed up bad and the manager lady comes out from the back and everything is magically back to normal again. Also the dude with the backwards hat on the grill on numerous occasions I've heard him making fun of customers and what they are wearing. It's a tiny store , like how dumb are u. The store here is so small u can't find a place to stand sometimes. On top of all this the food comes out slow as well and they are very unorganized. But yeah fire that black guy he is miserable and combative,even when it's his mistake. I've spent so much time waiting for my food I've observed all of this. Just go to any other capriottis till they make some changes
