This was the worst experience I have had with a Capriottis location. The salad I ordered vs what I received was a joke. Talk about false advertising! We ordered lunch for the office on 2/14, when it was delivered, we were missing a sandwich and the salad I mentioned above was just iceberg lettuce. We called and spoke to the asst manager Hector who said he would refund both items but he only refunded the missing sandwich. I called back the next day 2/15 and he assured me we would receive our additional refund. That has yet to happen. Needless to say, we won’t be ordering from the Capriottis in Union street ever again! Very disappointed as this use to be a go to spot and the quality and customer service has gone down hill.

My first time in Wilmington, everyone told me to try Capriottis. It was fantastic. Got a medium Italian. Delicious, great value. The staff were super friendly and helpful. I'll definitely visit again. Highly recommend

The OG location and still uses Serpe's rolls.This is the best location.The other locations just aren't the same. I understand why they franchised, but I'll drive out of my way specifically to come to this location.Bobbie sub as it comes. Nothing better.They make a good cheesesteak too.

By far the worst chicken cheesesteak I have ever had in my life! It was my first and very last from here I will never get anything other than a turkey sub from here never ever again. Meat was tough and not chopped.I specifically asked for salt n pepper, fried onions, they must have skipped that part absolutely tasteless. I took one bite and spit it out I took a 2nd bite to be sure and yeah to the trash, I mean I didn’t think anyone could make a cheesesteak so terribly.I wish I had went with my first thought and just went to Olympics. I’m out of $10.50 and still hungry

I’m a regular customer and was very startled at the behavior being displayed. The short brown skinned manager (don’t know her name) was very impolite. I told her I was missing something on my pickup order and she was talking to me in the most disrespectful way. If you don’t like your job just quit!! Though you guys food is amazing, im not even sure if I want to come back in there now.

They are an awesome professional, helpful, and inviting staff. Although, I was dashing. I used to patronize before I miraculously developed a gluten sensitivity. Blah Blah, lol. I am mad because I get a taste for a Capriottis Turkey the works. Do you guys offer sub bowls. That way, I'll buy my own bread and assemble the sub myself. Just can't beat natural ingredients. The smell of a good sub aroma in the air when you arrive. This location, I admire, so much. I will try and ask for a sub in bowl without the bread. But all the fixings. By chance, if you all consider gluten-free roll. UDIS gluten-free bread is the best. $2 to $3 extra I would pay because it is reasonable. Gluten-free is on the expensive side.

I saw one of the reviews how thin they make their hoagies. I even ordered extra meat and there was still nothing. They forgot to add the onions and pickles to my sandwich,basically I paid $20 for garbage won't be returned into this location again

I took a friend here for their first Capriotties experience. He ordered 2 huge sandwiches that cost $38. No chips or drinks. When he opened them I noticed they were lacking. Wawa served thicker sandwiches . When the guy asked what did he want on it. He said everything. But they didnt put mayo or oil and a few other things he was expecting. He said it was dry. Sorry I didn't take better pictures.

My husband and I love this specific Capriottis for years we’ve been ordering subs here. But lately we’ve been ordering and having issues with what we ordered. Today we ordered a large Italian and a large cheesesteak with everything on it and pepper relish on the side. Sad to say each sub is about $20 each now. The Italian sub was fine but the cheesesteak had nothing but ketchup, cheese and steak we specifically ordered it with everything. We also did not get our side of hot pepper relish. I never leave a review but today I did because I called 15 minutes before closing to resolve the issue and no one answered the phone. Customers should be able to contact the store until closing.

I have been coming to the Union Street location when Alan and his sister just started the business. I have been going there for years and years and years and now I’m sorry to say the quality is really dropped. Went in for a simple sandwich called and complained they said they would make a new one picked up the identical sandwich made the same way and they had to make me another one while I waited. Just not happy overall they tried to make it good but even messed it up a simple sandwich. I don’t think I will be returning.

My wife and mother-in-law stopped at this Capriotti's to get us lunch. I grew up in neighborhood and have been here MANY MANY times. Three sandwiches cost over $60. I get a large steak only ketchup with nothing else on it. All three sandwiches had hardly any meat on any of them. Mine was worst. The meat was less a quarter of an inch high. I emailed the company about our disappointed experience and NOT OBE PERSON MESSAGED IS OR CALLED US BACK. Lois would be very very ashamed....

Prices are ridiculous! 30.00 for a large and small cheese steak. And that was it, nothing else.Meat was tough and not seasoned at all.Never going back. If you want a great cheese steak that's about half the price, and tastes great always, go to gallery pizza in Newport plaza by ShopRite. The meat is seasoned, they toast the rolls and there is plenty of meat on them. This was a disaster I got from capriotties.

My grandson treated me to dinner. A large fresh turkey sub with extra mayo. My favorite. The sub was horrible. Light mayo and the turkey was dry. Every other bite I had to take a bone out of my mouth. I was so disappointed.

The food really went down hill. I got a small roast turkey which was way over priced, $10 for 8"! Then they used that precut "fake" American cheese, it was the worst sub I ever ate. Will not go backParking: Not alot of parking

Our favorite sub place, but the ham and cheese sub was definitely lite on the star ingredients this time, by about half. I ha e been to several capriotis and this is the first time I was disappointed. We ordered several sandwiches for our group and all were good, just that ham and cheese.....Anyway, if you know Capriotti's you know the rolls are great and the ingredients are too. Just check your order before you leave this one.

I was very unhappy with my service and order. I ordered a small Bobbie in which there was very little turkey stuffing and cranberry sauce. The service the young lady that 1st waited on me asked for my name and then said are you sure you ordered for here. Then another lady said yes she did here is part of the order and they were making the other half. Very very very disappointed with sandwich won't go back to union Street will only go to Basin Road.

If I could give their vegetarian turkey sub 1,000,000 stars I would!!! I’m from out of town but I came here in the summer on an errand and stopped at Capriotti’s for sandwiches. My partner had the veg Philly, and I had the turkey sub, and I STILL think about it weekly/constantly ask my partner to drive me the 2-3hrs just for that sandwich. If you’re vegetarian, and love a good deli sub, do not pass this place up!!

Have ordered the Large meatball sub here twice in the last month and both times the roll was not toasted, barely any meatballs, barely any cheese. Didn’t have much flavor.The Silverside location never disappoints. This union street location is the one that Joe Biden frequents and in my opinion, this is the worst location besides the one in Newcastle. If you have the President ordering from your store frequently, you better up your game and at least be as good as the other locations. I Will not be returning even though this location is 5 min from my home. Get better staff.

Good sandwiches. Just don't ask for it your way, they're going to make it THEIR way! The will usually honor what you DON'T want, but you'll get everything THEY want if you don't specify. Don't ever ask for the cheese on top so your sub makes a nice grinder. It will always be buried way on the bottom wrapped around everything else. Always have to dissect and reconstruct my subs.
