LONG LINES AND BROKEN PUMPS!!Bj's, please come and fix this gas station!As usual, the Kirkwood Highway BJ's is backed up. As long as you're alright waiting 20 minutes to get your gas, I guess you'd be okay coming here.The pumps are always broken here, so they have to close two or three lanes on a regular basis.BJ's,There are people that depend on gas savings, which is why we all come here. I don't understand why these pumps are never repaired!At one point, I got gas here, and the shut-off valve did not work. The gas spewed all over my pants and shoes. I reported it to BJ's, and they have done nothing to compensate me for the cost of replacing my shoes. Very disappointing.

I have been going to BJ's for many years and I like the products and the coupons. Although the process of checking out has NOT improved! The lines are always long. The lines are long because tlBJ's process of checking out is inefficient! There are multiple spots for slef checkout but for 20 items or less....most people shopping at BJ's have more than 20 items. So they you are stuck to go to the maybe 2 cashiers. There you must unload ALL of you things. You can't keep the few heavy items that the cashier could easily scan right in your cart without having to be put on the belt and then reorganized in your cart by the cashier. THEN you need to stop in a line again for your receipt to be checked after a BJ's employee just checked out my items. It is very inefficient and maybe this is why your line are always so long!

Store has everything.. none of the workers are customer service Friendly... They dont greet or thank you... They dont acknowledge customers... If u need any help in the stores you won't be able to find any employees on the sales floor.. but a decent store... Mostly self checkout... I would recommend

Pickup in-store took 35 minutes (1:47pm to 2:22m) from check-in to pickup. Wow! It would take 5 minutes to buy directly in-store versus waiting time to place the online order then wait at the store for associates to do nothing. Meanwhile all the whites and other ethnic groups get their orders within 5 minutes and they arrived after me. Very unprofessional and discriminating.

Got tires and had them installed today. Reading the prior reviews I wouldn't have gone here. Glad I ignored them. I had excellent customer service and have to give a shout out to Clinton, Paul, and the Manager.In addition, I ended up getting another pair of glasses. Jamie in the Eyeglasses department is the best! So helpful and friendly. Felt I was in good hands.Happy customer.

I go once a week to get the rotisserie chicken and mashed potatoes!. Wonderful meal at a great price!.EDITI am sad to say that I need to update this review to a 1 star. I have been getting this chicken for years, but the last two times that I went, it was pink. The last time it was really bad! I have attached some pictures. I tried to heat it more but was so grossed out and worried about getting sick that I threw it out.

I love BJ’s, just not this BJ’s. Getting gas usually takes a long time because there seems to always be some pumps not working. Inside the store, they are usually out of stock on several items, most of them their own brand of products like their bagged shredded cheeses and paper products. The checkout lines are typically really long and often stretch back to the frozen foods section. I usually only stop at this location when I need a quick few things and make the drive to the airport location for larger shopping trips.

Worst customer service experience. I scheduled to replace tires on 12/26/23 at 6pm. Upon arrival there was no one there. Went into member services desk and was told that they did not have staff but someone should have called to rescheduleThat never happened but she put me on for the next day for service. Came back the next day same timeThis time they told me my lug nuts were swollen and we would need to supply replacements. I was disturbed by this and was told to come back on Sunday with the lug nuts. I requested a refund and was told the process will take about 20 days for refund refund to be processed. I thought that was unreasonable so I asked to speak to a manager. Was sent to corporate who verified the time frame on the refund. I agreed to have the service done on SundayGot the lug nits as request and brought them to my Sunday appt. When I got there they told me the lug nuts are the wrong size but they could get the old lugs off and put them back on. Tech stated it was not a problem so why was it a problem the 1st time. Throughout this process trying to speak to someone to discuss this issue was painful. No one I spoke with including supervisor name Rick kept telling me I had to talk to the local branch and the local branch kept telling I had to talk to corporate. 1s intake I made was paying upfrontI will never do that again with BJ's again. 2md thing is I will be considering ending my relationship with BJ's moving forward because this experience was nerve racking. Please improve your customer service program and have armament team who can actually solve problems.

I just joined BJ's at the Club+ level and went to pick up my membership card and check out the store for the first time. Terrible experience at the Customer Service desk. The women working shouldn't be working in customer service. Their ways are rude and unfriendly. Maybe it is limited to this Elsmere location, so I am going to check out the New Castle one.Update: The New Castle location of BJ’s is equally bad if not worse. I wonder if this is typical of all BJ’s stores across the US.I also got myself a Cosco membership and what a difference in experience! Cosco is so much more superior is all areas - be it grocery, in-house restaurant, quality of items, quality of gasoline and above all customer service and the general store experience. It’s clear BJ’s and Cosco caters to different clientele.

This has got to be the most mismanaged store in this area. No matter what time of day you go there, there is a line wrapped around the store waiting to check out, see photo. That is because there is only one or two cashiers working at most. The rest is self checkout, which an unusual amount of people seem to have a problem with. Was there today around noon and waited in line at the deli, for 30 minutes. People ahead of me said they had waited as long as 40 minutes as there was only one person working the deli. Every other store in this area has gotten their stuff together. I don't know why BJ's cannot.

Worst bjs ever im a former employee I got fired yesterday by the general manager his name is Brandon don’t know his last name but my anxiety was sky high and having a asthma attack and not the general manager or hr cared about what was going on with me they didn’t have to respect or heart to call 911 instead they want to fire me god for bid im working on the floor and I pass out this bjs is horrible and disgusting again the worst bjs ever!!!!

Store overall is ok...the customer service kiosk employees were lacking customer service. Very rude and unwelcoming. I was asking 1 question and also looking to sign up for a new membership... I actually stood there for about 10 mins before I asked, "could someone help" because both associates didn't realize a line has now formed due to both associates had their heads down in their phones(they weren't young employees). One associate leaves and other then acts as if I'm an inconvenience to her smh.

Stay away from the same day delivery.I put a order in yesterday and waited for delivery and then I get an email that it was canceled.Reordered the stuff for today and half the stuff was missing from my order.I called customer service and they said this will take 24 hours to be resolved.He also said there is no guarantee that it will be re delivered.and I may just get refund.I WILL NEVER DO THIS AGAIN

You need membership in which is $55. This is my stopped to get gasoline in which prices are much cheaper than other gas stations. Thisis one of my many favorite places prices are reasonable and you find items on big quantity also they have a location for tires. You pretty much find most of what you need.

Am I member and shop there? Yes. Are there some good bargains there? Yes. - Do I enjoy my shopping trips there? Rarely. Certainly prefer Costco but this is more convenient and less crowded.

My mom and I go to this BJs probably every week and this store is always clean and well stocked. The employees are always so friendly, but one employee in particular is excellent. Simone, the lady who checks your receipt at the door is exceptional! She is there every weekend and always has a positive attitude! Thank you Simone for always making my shopping experience a good one!

Below minimal service--this is not the first time Lisa has treated me with utter arrogance and disrespect. Store also lacks basic supplies, especially the ones they advertise with discounts. Stay away from this store, unless you want to waste your time and be abused at the same time.

Pre-ordered a lunch meat tray for 2pm today. Wasn't made & noone knew where the paper was. They said someone called out. Who cares?!! You should have a system where your workers know what to make in the morning.But thank you to the deli workers & store manager for getting it done. And she did give me a discount. The deli manager wasn't going to give discount & couldn't find lids b/c they were out of them. Tray looked beautiful though.

The only buisness I know that won't sell an item if it doesn't scan. Instead of manually entering $29.99 they rather lose a sale pathetic. The only reason I have this membership is because my wife forces me to keep it. I will always prefer Costco.

This is the worst BJs in terms of customer service. I think I understand why people pay so much for Costco. We entered at 645 and were told that BJs closes in 10 minutes. Understandable. No problem. People want to go home. It's announced on the speaker at 6:46 and then at 6:48. At 6:49 we are followed by an employee and told that the registers are closing so we have to hurry up (you cannot close all the registers before customers check out). So, we go up to pay. It is chaos, not because of customers, but because of the woman in charge of self check out is rushing customers and telling them to come pay at self checkout when she doesn't have enough registers open and tells us "We are closing. I only need 3 registers open" but you told 5 people to come pay at self checkout...? If you are in a hurry to go home, don't create chaos. The only bright moment was our cashier Dave. This BJs needs to train their employees on customer service or it's not going to last very long and people will either travel to another BJs or stop going all together.

Clean store, good selection. I've never been impressed with the buy bulk idea as my family is small. The prices weren't that great and after having paid for a membership, I just don't shop here anymore.

I placed an online order with BJ's and the next day I received an email that the order was ready around noon. At about 5:40pm I received a second email saying I had picked it up, when I was in another part of town getting my hair done. I called the store and was on hold for 33 min trying to speak to someone. Was told the manager on for the day, John, was busy in a meeting and will call me back. I never received one. Called the next day and spoke with Bill and said he will have the closing manager call me back. Never received a call back. I just called Corporate and said they will look into this. Not sure why this is taking 3 days to sort through, but still waiting for answers with no one calling back

When shopping they send their security to walk up behind you and watch you as you grab an item to put in your cart. It's ridiculous and insulting! Just order online and have them bring it out to your car.
