Just like any other ACME, but at this location they have REALLY cheap chicken. Recently ACME has been improving the quality of their produce and boy have I noticed. Staff is decently kind as well. I love picking up really cheap chicken on the way home from work at 8pm. They have discounted rotisserie and 8-piece chicken, both are seasoned and cooked to perfection. I recommend eating the chicken shortly after buying it as it’s still warm and delicious. Not sure how long this Monday chicken deal will last so go check it out!

A month or so ago, I brought a loaf of bread up to customer service because it had clearly been chewed through by some animal. Figured they had sorted things out by now. Last night, I got bagels and bread DoorDashed to my house from there. Guess what?! Bagels were chewed into. (DoorDash did credit me for this) Looks like they've got a mouse problem that hasn't been resolved. Everyone there is very kind and nice when I've been there before, but I'll be getting bread elsewhere.Update: just spoke to someone from the store/company who assured me that they are looking into it immediately and the problem will be rectified. I think that's pretty awesome and very swift customer service. I hope they can do so!

Our family started liking Route 202 Acme for their hot foods department but the overall supermarket has good selections and the prices are favorable for the customers.

ACME of Fairfax is a convenient option if you are staying at the nearby BW hotel.It has some options of prepared food and drinks, but they do not offer alcoholic beverages, due to current legal regulations in Delaware.I was even able to communicate in Spanish with an employee.

Needed some Progresso soup $3.99 at Acme, then went to Wegmans to find it $1.60 cheaper @ $2.39. Acme is a ripoff. Never shop there again.

Horrible experience.On Sunday, December 24th, 2023 at 5:65 pm,, the staff were turning away patrons. The store hours posted was 6pm closing. Very poor service.

Good supermarket. They stay stocked. I've almost always found everything on my shopping lists. They also have a pretty good rewards and virtual coupon program. I've saved up to $50 during visits. I'm also appreciative that they generally have cashiers on hand as well as self-service checkout. Due to the size of my filled carts I generally prefer cashier assistance. I've shopped at other supermarkets and definitely noticed the difference. It matters. This market is definitely my preference.

Update: Religion and political beliefs: Two subjects that are personal & nobody's business !! This is NOT 1942, but sometimes I wonder.So approx. 4 years of similar complaints, & nothing's changed. I have No reason to believe that ACME MGT will stop accepting Bad behavior from their employees towards customers!!!!The blatant disrespect and anger towards certain people (customers) is INEXCUSABLE !!!!Store on Concord Hwy, Wilmington, DE. I read the bad customer svc. reviews for this store location, during the past 4 years, and NOTHING HAS CHANGED FOR THE BETTER regarding customer service!!!My guess is that they're nice to only CERTAIN customers.If you don't look and talk and think exactly like them,then forget about receiving the proper customer service!!!!It's the same with all the ACME's in this vicinity.

At this specific location it's deemed acceptable to provide more than less friendly customer service, not one friendly smile. Not a hello when you come to the cashier, and if they have to speak to you in self check out it's a stern yell across the sales floor.

This store is small but has improved spacing of items a bit. It's location is the most convenient for us. Nice floral and bakery departments. The staff aren't the nicest bunch. Not very friendly overall. Occasionally an associate will say hello but for the most part seem miserable. Some have been here for 20 years and are generally the least kind.

I love their produce section! Great dairy and juice section also. They always have everything I need! Everyone you talk to there is super nice and helpful. The one downside is the self checkout area is very crowded and they rarely have many people doing check out. I don't find the self check out easy. I think this is the way all stores are going though so overall I would say 4.75 stars!

The experience today was just ok. This cashier wasn't into her job today. Didn't want to look up price for the kale i had and she let everyone know. My visits have never been this disappointing.

It's clean & well maintained. They have good deals & the bakery is great, but this store is 1 of the smallest groceries stores in town. Some selections are limited, aisles are tight & it's down right difficult to shop & social distance at the same time.

Stopped in to grab a few quick things... I was doing the self checkout thing when the employee in charge of monitoring those registers was having what seemed to be an argument with a customer. She kept saying that he repeatedly shows up and walks out with carts full of products without paying for them. Turns out he wasn't a customer, but a thief. He casually pushed his cart out the front doors slowly... I was leaving too and watched him take his time sloooowly walking out to his car. I could hear the lady inside the store yelling over the PA system for security to get out front. 5 mins later he and a friend just rolled out of the parking lot, headed to the apt complex behind the shopping center. A minute or so after, a kid wearing a neon traffic vest with the words, ACME SECURITY" on the back steps out of the store and just rests against a shopping cart, puffing on a vape pen. Unbelievable.

The deli worker was unprofeesional. She took a phone call in the middle of my order. Also she was too lazy to go look for what I ordered. I was the only one in line. My husband and I waited way too long for our order. The cashier that rang us up was very nice visit this time. No complaints.

Good selection. Nice produce. Reasonable atmosphere. The aisles are all a little small and cramped, making it hard to get around, and the cashiers are the slowest moving workers I've ever seen.

Food, product, clean, me caveman and know what ACME is. No hunt just shop. Live out back in woods. Close and convenient. The top of the line grocery store in all the world in my book. This is the tops as well for border shopping. Pennsylvania here a short hop skip and a jump to Dela-where to get my tax free shopping complete.

This is a good Acme store if you need to get in and get out, but not to do a full blown grocery trip. It's small, hard to navigate, and the staff is not very kind. Delaware just switched to the rule of no plastic bags on the 1st. My fiancé was unaware of this change when he went in, he didn't know anything about it. Now I understand that they probably dealt with multiple people that day that had the same issue, but when he asked a question about the bags, the woman who responded (the one who works at the self-checkout) was very rude. Other than that, this acme is a good in and out spot.

I had the worst experience here bc I had 2 orders I wanted rung up seperately. I also was on my THIRD attempt to redeem a coupon for orangina in the bottle . Cashier and service desk no help at all. Joey was the only employee who even tried to help and he smiled( Perception is everything) ....

Always takes to long to check out, and selection isn’t as good as some other Acmes. Bakery and prepared foods are good though.

They were out of stock of gluten free bread and several aisle were being blocked by workers and they just ignored your presents so I had to keep turning around and going down another aisle just to get to the other side.
