I am so tired of having to watch every item be scanned that I took a break from it. Well, got robbed again. Primo Taglio ham off the bone should be $5.91 per pound on UDeals. They discounted it,vyes, to a little over $9 per pound. I'm too irritated to go back, but I have to watch for all the UDeals coming off the register!!!

Just had the worst experience first thing in the morning shopping for bagels at this location, its run by a racist mgr. who from all accounts encourages his office staff to over charge when they think they can get away with it . I purchased one doz. bagels on sale for $7.00 . at the time of purchase you need to call staff over ( when using self checkout ) to ring up these bakery items ( they are not pre- priced / labeled ) at that time I was charged $ 10.00 this is a consistent practice each and every time . Today noing their practice I checked the receipt before getting in my car , and yes once again I was purposely over charged again I went back into the store up to the same clerk of checked me out justs minutes earlier showed him my receipt told him I was over charged he than refunded $2.00 of the $3.00 I should of received after checking my receipt again once home less than 2 miles away and more about principle I drove back to the store asked for the mgr. showed him the receipt he than walked over to the register all without a word spoked and handed over my over payment of $ 1.00 I walked out pissed . All because these people want to give you a hard way to go about nothing more than the color of my skin . I will never shop in that store , mall again just for a peace of mind.

Always clean, super friendly, happy and helpful staff. My preference for a supermarket in the area for sure.My only advice is that their prices and weekly deals could be a little more reasonable. Going in and paying over $200 on a grocery trip for 2 the week is pretty much expected.Otherwise, no complaints on the store itself.7/20/22 Edit: It does get a little frustrating that they're almost always out of something (most of the time lately a lot of things)8/13/22 Edit: *sigh* Unfortunately some of the same issues. Even went over to their other branch off of Naamans Rd. Because this location was out of so much. And it was just more of the same there. This is a little unbelievable for weeks at a time here lol.

People at this store needs to go thru customer service classes. I don't know if it's because I'm black or whatever the case may be but for a state always calling Texas so racist, action speak louder than words. I miss Texas, customer service is trash here.

The store itself is okay. But you will have to have a conversation with your deli slicers. The one older lady with glasses blew her nose in her hands and didn't wash them right afterwards. She just put on gloves. She called my name but I didn't even say anything I just walked away. Everybody saw that and there was a big line there. Sanitation is very important and doing that right out in public shows that someone doesn't care about their own cleanliness. Please talk with your employees about that.

Horrible location.No cashiers lanes open on a Saturday, only self check out. No paper bags at the self checkout. Asked for a basket for groceries and was told “ no they have all been stolen”.

It was a disgrace, 3 lanes open for check out. At least 40 people in line and 5 associates stand around self check out area. To say the least it was a fire hazard could not walk in the main front area at all

Acme Bakery-Amazing staff specially the lady who works in the bakery department below are two cakes that I have recently order from there and it’s not just beautiful but it taste also good. Amazing cake in budget!!

Time moves much slower in this place, for both the employees and customers. Everyone and everything shuffling around at a snails pace. Don't even think for a second you'll get anything at the deli around lunch time. The walking dead behind the counter will take around 45 minutes to take care of 3 customer at most.

Management does not enforce proper wearing of face coverings. Multiple employees wear the mask below their nose. They may as well take it off, because it doesn't do any good if they don't cover their nose.

Like shopping here, pretty sure I spend more for the same type of groceries. But since it's in a plaza that has my bank and liquor store. It's definitely a winner for me!! Saving money on my liquor purchases counters the extra money I spent on groceries.. now I could drive all over the area and waste gas and

Came today to grab lunch meat, last week went to a different location and couldn't eat it cause it was too thick! The young man at the counter was very helpful he showed me the thickness and cut it beautifully! He also had an awesome Hoodie on that I loved!

There always seems to be multiple employees working in the produce section, yet none of them notice that the tomatoes are frequently moldy. The produce section/entry area is often smelly as well.

This store disappoints more every time I go. There were 5 bodies in the deli and only one helping customers. You must use self checkout if you go shopping too early. They no longer offer bags to put your groceries in and they refuse to help bag groceries.

The most unfriendliest acme I've ever visited aside from Naamans Road. The manager looks like a gangster that was on the corner selling drugs very unprofessional.The sign said 3.49 mix and match. But they told us we couldn't mix and match what we wanted.

...Obviously great place to get groceries & other essentials. BUT... this time, was a bit different. When rounding an aisle to head towards the meats... it was empty. Everything, gone. But their was a worker, the butcher there, ready to answer questions or help. So, I approached, "Dan the Butcher". He told me that there was a mishap with the truck and the temperature on the product was higher than usual, so instead of putting everything out and hoping no-one got sick. They did, what I'd hope everyone would do and removed every single meat product of the shelves/display. Though Dan did more then give a reason, he went and grabbed fresh meat from the back for myself that was cooled enough. Also helped me pick out some great sliced beef for some homemade cheesesteaks. Not sure if he was told to do all that, but to me, he went above and beyond and that's a great worker on staff.

I relocated to Wilmington last year. I have always been an Acme customer, BUT, this store is making it next to impossible to shop. The store is a mess, clogged isles, crates and crates of boxes EVERYWHERE,very very under stocked. I know it is a small Acme but each week it is worse. The people that work there are great. Very pleasant. I have some physical issues that require I take oxygen with me and the staff is always great and helpful. I have been using the shopper service for my last 4 orders. The service is great, but the store is so under stocked that the shopper had to substitute items or else the store is just plain out of item. What meat department does not have chuck roast? And they only had 3 packages of 90-95% lean hamburger. I wanted a spiral sliced ham....they had 2 to choose from! Unfortunately each order is getting harder and harder to fulfill. I only live 5 minutes away...but I'm going to have to try Naamens Road store which is 15 minutes away, or just plain switch stores.

So just went to this Acme. Close to my job. Just wanted lunch, chicken looked ok so wanted that. Simple enough. The deli person just finished helping the lady in front of me. No one else was there. Person looked at me smiled and walked away. The other older lady that was working back there also was pulling chicken out the grease hands full. She couldn't help but se seen what had happened and motioned for the other worker to wait on me. He again pretended I was not there and this time never looked up and walked past me two more time finding busy work. Just plain sad.

I am always puzzled by employees who know nothing of store policies and or apps.i wanted to know if gift card purchases count towards the rewards program.. " I have no idea " is not an acceptable answer from a manager. I also have not been able to use my reward points towards gas, lately...have tried twice and been shut down

If you you're a black male ages 25 to 45.....GOOD LUCK!!!! You will be watched very thoroughly throughout the store. Don't go thru self checkout. They will make you feel utterly disrespected. I called corporate. That didn't help at all. Didn't get a call back so obviously the employees are doing what they want them to do. When I moved from the South I thought I was getting away from the racial profiling.

Overall, Acme stores are a great place to shop. Your bigger stores, of course have more variety. Staff is always pleasant & willing to help. Stores are clean & for the most part well stocked. The sanitizing of carts needs improvement. Customers sanitize the carts, the often empty or dry towels are stationed long after you retrieve a cart. Too much room for germs & not enough precautions for customers during pandemic.... 4 StarsInstacart shopperKaren

This review is (pre-plastic bag ban). Acme has all the necessary things I go to the grocery store to get. The have never been out of something I went in there for. Their selection is (one) step above local competition. Their prices are slightly higher than other local stores. They have a decent selection of deli items and seafood. Their Monday deal on fried or baked chicken is outstanding. Their milk doesn't have that aftertaste that many do. They have sales on various items which is always a fun surprise when I shop there. They do have a bakery section, although I haven't always found what I hoped to buy there and had to settle for something else. Most all the employees in the Acme I went to had good attitudes toward customers. They answered questions and seemed happy to help. That may seem like a small thing, but to me a bad attutude from an employee is enough for me never to set foot in the store again. What is also important to me is the cashier, or somone else helps bag the items. If that's the reason for the slightly higher prices on some items, I will gladly pay it. Checking-out to me is a highly stressful event. So many things have to happen very quickly, so other people don't have to wait. Get out the wallet, put in your phone number, bag the items, put them in your cart, deal with the ridiculous card reader with all those questions, keep an eye on your wallet while at the card reader, answer the questions from the cashier, answer the questions from the card reader screen, make sure you push the correct buttons or you start all over again, while people start letting out those long sighs behind you in line. So, I do appreciate help with the bagging. I have not yet been grocery shopping now that they don't supply free bags. I sure hope this is not going to add the stress of checking out. Sometimes I just want to walk out of the store with my groceries on the conveyor belt when things go from 5mph to 70mph in the blink of an eye.
