Although this place may have good bargains the staff need some training in customer service. Upon immediately entering the building instead of saying “hello, welcome, let me know if you need anything”- we were greeted with we are closing in 20 min. Which wasn’t even accurate because they shaved 10 minutes off the time. It just seemed like the staff couldn’t wait to get out of there and were not at all helpful or friendly. I don’t like shopping in places that feel hostile and unwelcoming.

I don’t even give this place 1 star. They may have good bargains but the staff are very ignorant. They were closing at 12 and my husband and I arrived at 11:50. I just wanted to get some shirts so I knew exactly where to go. An older lady immediately told me to get in line we’re closing at 12. Not even a, “Hello, just an fyi, we close at 12.”Instead she was very hostile. I said I should have time to look at just this section. She said well the register will close at exactly 12. There were two ladies in line already checking out so I should have had time. As soon as she checked them out, the older lady said “registers closed” all while looking straight at me and it wasn’t even 12:00. I said that’s ok. I’m not getting anything from you anyway and walked out. Very rude people that work there and this wasn’t the first time dealing with rudeness there. I won’t go back.

My family and I love coming to this thrift store. Although the prices have steadily increased throughout the years, everything has always been reasonable and there are always sales occurring. This store has high quality items, and the inventory is always fully stocked. However, today we had a rather unpleasant experience with the staff. We have had slightly upsetting encounters before, but at our last visit the staff were being egotistical and lacked the understanding of our needs as loyal customers. Without having access to dressing rooms, it seems merely impossible to get a true understanding of how certain clothes will look off the hanger. My mother and I placed our items down on a chair to sort through and determine what we were going to purchase. We were told that we couldn’t set items in the furniture, so we complied and laid the items on the floor. Then we were asked to move again because we were in the way. This extremely upset us, not because we were asked to move, but because of the staffs ill-mannered and impolite tones. Prior to this we were asked to move while we were browsing in the jeans section, so this incident made us feel unwanted and like we were bothersome to the staff at Samaritan Thrift Store. We hope this message reaches the designated audience and empathy and understanding will be developed among the staff.

They do not accept credit or debit cards, cash or local check only. There should be a sign on the door as you walk in to avoid shopping for nearly an hour ONLY to find out payment options at check out.

My favorite storeI enjoy going here and I am very close by this lovely thrift store .They have great items and good specials. They have a try on room and change inventory for each of the holidays . The clothes area is a bit tight but if you want a bargain, you can make it around . They are separated by size and the store is organized. . Kudos to the volunteers. They even sell cheap greeting cards! I hope to get back there soon after this pandemic..

All the volunteers at this thrift shop are pleasant and helpful. I’m amazed at the selection and prices I find there. If you enjoy thrifting this is the place to go!

I like this thrift shop. Some of their things are up-priced which I have a mixed opinion of. They have a lot of cute items and a nice variety.Remember they are cash or check only. That was a "wet blanket' on my visit since I only had a 20$ bill.

Huge thrift shop. I can spend hours looking for treasures. Honestly you can furnish an entire home just from items in this thrift shop. The employees who work there are helpful and extremely nice.
