The employees, especially Dalton and the manager were extremely humane and helpful. They went above and beyond to make a not so easy shopping experience easier. The store itself was a little concerning due to the customers. I feel bad for these employees because people were drinking red bulls , putting them back on the shelf. Opening breading and throwing pieces on the floor. The employees deserve way more respect

Rude employee at register and always crowded and under staffed at registers. I approached and said hello, twice! Before getting a reluctant hi. The young boy ringing up my groceries never cracked a smile and didn't respond to my friendly chatter. He ignored me totally and handed me my receipt with a "here"! That's it? What has happened to customer service around here. I'm a local, and it's really sad to see customer service workers (such as myself) treat their customers so rudely and unfriendly. It's always like that in this store which I why I hate going to it but It happens to be on my way home. Get another job if u hate it that much

I’d have you know I couldn’t respond to any of the comments below but Mrs.Tammy Tidewell and the other people in the reviews, I would gladly appreciate it if you all could please remove your heads out of your rear ends because clearly people need to tear down a grocery store but you still continuously come back. “ If you don’t like your job just leave” how does that sound for the people who work to feed their children. No one asked for your stuck up opinions to be so detailed as such. I personally think it’s rude to staff who work here and risk their health in the middle of a global pandemic and heaven forbid the aisles are too small from floats for the stockers or a cashier doesn’t talk to you all, imagine having to deal with that and your personal life as well hanging in the balance. It disgusts me to know that the older generation and younger generation have not a single shred of empathy for a working person anymore. So people who come to the reviews to bash I would love to see you run a grocery store have it and tip too shape smiling cashiers huge isles and no problems . Until then I suggest you take your negativity to Whole Foods. You will complain about the staff and environment but never truly evaluate the store , if it’s understaffed or not it’s just ridiculous the world needs more positivity and not whatever you think that review was.

This place is just the worst I have ever experienced. I wish Ocean Pines had an alternative locally not Wal-Mart or Aldi's. Most of the staff doesn't want to work you are bothering them by walking into this location. I know it's hard to find people to work these days, but the management here has to get the staff under control. I encourage the franchise to contact me or just visit to see how poor the environment is at this location. You can do so much better with just a little bit of care.Wishing for Giant or Safeway

I stop in here bc it's close to work and my home in Bishopville. Last time I went I watched some guy walk in and steal something and walk back out. When I told the cashier about, bc I felt unsafe in the parking lot, all he said was "it happens". Today I stopped in for some quick items and was treated so rudely by the young female cashier who mumbled so I couldn't hear her and I even offered to help bag but she didn't even let me, then was handed my receipt with no thank u or smile or anything! This is the 3nd the I've been treated this exact same way. They don't speak to u and act like they are miserable.

The line I was in moved real good.The young lady running the register knows her stuff. But they only had 1 0ther full service lane open. They had a 12 items or less lane open but they had 9 people waiting in the isle.The MOD should be more aware of the progress of the store.I'VE worked this business a long time and know when someone is not on top of what is happening outside of an office.

Like all the other food lions in this area they certainly do have the things you cannot find department stores. Also they seem to take more pride in the job they do whether it's talking shows or cleaning the floors in the bathroom. What I really like about this particular location is the fact that it's tax free.

Selbyville, Delaware location. The employees here are wonderful and bend over backwards to get answers to your questions. Very knowledgeable staff. The store is clean and well organized. Their deep fried turkey lunch meat is to die for. Moist and very tasty.

Took a break here to st rech legs on trip. Market is on small side with a nice veggie selection and small in store bakery. But cashietr did not say a word not even the amount that was due and the mens bathroom was out of order.

As Millsboro gets more and more crowed, this is our go to store at times. Try to get there early, before 2:30--3.00, otherwise, it is just as chaotic as Millsboro. Sigh.

customer service from sev. stock employees was absolutely unacceptable.I asked one woman 3times excuse me can you tell me... she totally avoided me where a other customer said looks like she's ignoring you. Very clean store. Well staffed store with plenty of check out lines open. They also have very good pre- made food. Wings and roasted chicken to grab and go. I miss their tempura chicken.

If you enjoy cooking this is not the place to shop. Food choices are limited and often many specialty items are just not sold there (eg.,Saga's brie with blue cheese, sesame paste, barrata, overall a very limited cheese selection). The staff is not very helpful or friendly. Smiles are very limited. If you cannot find an item, and you go out of your way to ask for where to find it, they point in the general direction, instead of walking to the item. Have been shopping here on and off for years and have seen some improvement but not much. Although it is further away, I often shop at Harris Teeters more than here.

Was buying my food and the cashier next to use was talking bad about a customers that had just left. Told her she shouldn't do that. She was saying the customer were ignorant and that they need to use there brains.when the lady simply asked her when do the sodas expire.

Don't know what they were thinking; but, this store is arranged totally different than other Food Lion stores. I have been shopping in Food Lion for 15+ years, with most of them being arranged the same, so I can pretty much go in any store and find what I want, not here.
