Went in only to get a few things, employees were stocking no big deal had no problem waiting to be rung up. But when one of the employees informed Ashley that she had a customer she made her way up to the register upon coming up to the register instead of starting to ring up my merchandise she decided to pick up her cell phone instead to check it then brought it set it down by the register to start ringing up my stuff as another customer was patiently waiting behind me. Then as I got finished on my side with paying the card machine was saying processing the whole time she was on her phone messaging or something she finally saw I was waiting and clicked a button on her screen to finish the transaction. I’m sorry but this is unacceptable a phone is not important check it after you are finished with your customers and if u can’t do that then you do not need to be working in customer service!

Ask one of the staff members very nicely if she could tell me the price of something on the top shelf with no tag. She just looked at me and then finally met me over by the item. She scanned it, told me the price and got back off the stool and folded it up and started walking away before I could even say it I wanted that one. I only needed two seconds to decided/compare but wasn’t even given that. Decided not to ask for help again and just get what I had in my hand and leave even though I wasn’t done shopping. Felt very unwelcoming and like I was taking up her time.

Love $ General for good prices on detergents, cleaning supplies, Iams Cat Food, candy, etc. They got it all. Download their App for further savings. Can't go wrong!
