My daughter and I visited the Rehoboth PetCo location yesterday to find her a furry friend. During our trip, we were assisted by Cherise who was extremely helpful and provided a lot of great information for our new family member. The front area staff was also great during our check out. We left the store feeling very prepared and excited.

Every time I go into Petco, I’m greeted and everyone is willing to help me. They are very knowledgeable, but most of all, friendly.PetSmart is the opposite. I’ve tried them several times and I’m ignored or I feel like I’m putting them out. I will ALWAYS shop at Petco. Thank you for EXCELLENT customer service, EVERY TIME!

When we brought our dog in to be groomed for the first time at Petco (excellent experience) we forgot her paperwork there. We called and they said they found it and would hold it for us. The next day we went later in the day because of snow in the morning. When I went to the desk I asked for the paperwork and was told by the gentleman at the desk (I believe his name was Mark) that the receptionist in the grooming department had just left. Before I could say I’d have to come back the next day the man said to wait and he’d check for me. He opened up the grooming room and searched around and finally did find our file folder. He went out of his way to help us and we very much appreciated that.

We tried to schedule online for a la carte nail clipping online and was informed that we could not schedule and walkin nail clipping was the only way to have services performed. We waited in the grooming lobby for 20 minutes before calling the store line to be serviced. We were scolded for calling the store as "we knew you were here" but we didnt know that you "knew we were here" we were then berated about how ridiculous it was to expect us to have walkin nail clippings. We were told how they had 5 dogs scheduled, and would never have the time yo clip our dogs nails. We were told they "haven't offered walk in services for months." Total joke and disrespectful staff. We come for grooming pretty regularly and weren't new clients. It's a shame that regulars would be treated this disrespectful, this was our first time in since recently losing one of our dogs and it really broke our hearts to have this interaction with people who we thought cared about our animals.

i walked in and asked for a nail trim for my small dog, The owner shouted at me that they have not had walk-ins since Covid. She was very rude and condesending. I know that just a few months ago I walked in and got my dog's nails trimmed. I will be taking my dog elsewhere for her nail trims! Shame on you owner!!

This is a smaller location. Staff is friendly and helpful. Animals all looked clean and well cared for. It is good too see a pet store that is able to keep up and still care about the animals!

Ashley is the groomer who we always go to for grooming our dogs. She does exactly the cut we want, she calms them down when they are anxious about getting their nails clipped and does a wonderful job.

First time using the grooming service and was pleasantly surprised. While our dog was only having a bath, the associate who welcomed us was extremely friendly and also put us at ease leaving our pet in her care.

I tried to call to make an appointment. I could not make it through the phone systemI tried several times that day and the next. Same problem. No answer. I am assuming it's a combination of low staffing and a poor phone system. Good luck to anyone else.

The store was very clean, easy to navigate, and full of fun things! I didn't find the Easter stuff I was looking for (my fault-- I waited until two days before Easter and the internet SAID it wouldn't be in stock in store, but I wanted to check just in case), but I still found a handful of things to take home, anyway... and this was on top of the pickup order that I placed, which was at the register when I checked out, ready to go! Every associate I spoke to was very friendly and eager to help without being overbearing, and they guessed that we were getting a new puppy and shared in our excitement, which was even better! Thank you!!! A++

Went to Petco for some dry dog food, the shelving for Purina Pro products were poorly stocked, the item I was looking for was not on the shelf. I saw some on a pallet just thru the door to the warehouse area. I inquired of the cashier (who was not busy as there were few customers,) if it were possible to obtain one bag from the open pallet. I was told to come back Monday and they may be stocked.I then went to another pet food store, the store was well stocked, attendants were very helpful and the place was very busy with customers, a great experience. Guess where I will go the next time!

They had everything I needed, although limited selection. The floor staff was not friendly and seemed to hide behind their masks.... 🙄. Super nice check out guy.... But rest of staff, including manager, unfriendly and unwelcoming. Glad to be headed back to Florida where we are friendly and welcoming.

The store is big and bright and very well stocked. As soon as I entered the store I was greeted and received two offers of assistance. I found what I needed easily and when I was checking out, the nice clerk offered to take my purchases to the car for me. I truly appreciate the welcoming atmosphere and the kind offers of help.

Super friendly, very helpful when I went in to get my 8 year old son his first pet. Wanted something small to teach some responsibility, they recommended guinea pigs as they are friendlier then hamsters which I did not know. He loves them!
