The pharmacy is the worst. If they are out of your prescription they won't even call to tell you. Everyone that works there is as rude as can be except for beth. If I could give it negative stars I would. CVS is the absolute worst! Was basically just told they don't have time to take care of their customers and that they don't care. He wouldn't give me his name but this place is absolutely terrible. Avoid at all costs. They don't care about their customers and will do everything to make your life harder. Worst people ever

It’s too bad what has become of this pharmacy. I’ve gone for years. It was always such a smooth experience & now it’s so dysfunctional that I’m switching. I do not think it’s the employees, something is a mess higher up.

The OV CVS has everything I need - even has a good selection of hoodies and frozen foods. And the people who work there are so nice!I definitely recommend it.

Trying at the end of season to find small water boards and CVS employee went with me through the summer stick even checked in back returned and said let me look again as she walked down the isle they were on the top shelf!!!! We were both so excited!!! She went above and beyond what she had to do made me a happy customer and mentioned to manager I believe if you can complain you can compliment!!!!

Terrible! Choose any other local pharmacy, the scripts are never filled on time - I practically have to sit there for 30 mins every time waiting. And then the staff acts annoyed with me for needing them.

wish i could give 1/2 a star. When i walked in, there were NO human cashiers. only 1 store employee visible, a young guy, who was stocking shelves. so everyone had to use self checkout. and of course there were problems. One couple had a problem and the young guy had to come over and help. And then when i checked out my 1 item, i had an issue too of course, and he had to come over. It appears the store/company doesnt want to pay people to work there. Which is sad. Highly doubt i will go back. Hate self checkout, CVS isn't paying us to do THEIR work to TAKE OUR MONEY. and they dont give us a discount for doing their job. and their prices arent any better than other stores. What BS company.

Clean store, friendly staff. Moved to the area last year and transferred our Rx's here from our local CVS in Baltimore, much better service now. Also we've received several vaccines at this CVS with no issues.

Store and pharmacy service have declined severely. Fill time for new Rx is about a week, by their own admission. Don't have commonly stocked Rx meds most of the time. App for ordering refills doesn't show meds, even if they have filled it previously. DONOT USE THIS PARTICULAR STORE IF YOU CAN AVOID IT!

CVS Pharmacy department in Ocean View DE is very poorly managed. Lately, they cannot fill a prescription in less than 3 hours, their phone notification system is out of sync with actual orders completed, and their newest employee, Lara, has only 1 phrase in her vocabulary "we're very busy."Unacceptable customer service. They canceled a vaccination appointment with no explanation. When I arrived for my rescheduled appointment I waited almost 25 minute because according to Lara "we're very busy."Advice to new residents, get your scripts at Giant or Rite Aid. CVS can't handle the customers they already have.

Can take up to a week to fill most prescriptions, according to the pharmacy staff. Do not use this pharmacy! They don't seem to stock commonly prescribed meds. If you need an antibiotic you will likely become septic before the Rx is filled.

What an an unorganized mess they are in the pharmacy. Told me that my scripts would be ready in 15 minutes, 45 minutes later not only were they not ready but they couldn’t even find anything. They actually asked me did I pick them up earlier. WOW!Some months ago when I got home with my daughters prescriptions there was somebody else’s medication in one of the bags we took it right back but they had to throw it away because chain of custody was broken. Expected.Now I worry did they give my prescriptions to somebody else?

They can verify they received my kid’s prescription and can come up with 5 different reasons why they can’t give it to me - but they can’t actually fulfill the prescription and give it to me. And it’s not a understaffing issue because there’s several of them doing nothing just standing there.

Pharmacist and Pharmacy staff is rude and IMO a bit lazy as other reviewers have mentioned. They will not fill scripts outside of 24 hour time frames on transfers (which is their made up policy) even when medical conditions might warrant speedier lead times. They lack awareness and understanding. I've never talked to a Pharmacist with so little awareness about patient needs.

I wish I had read the reviews before switching to this CVS. I picked up my first prescription, 2 days later I opened the bag (when it was needed) and it was the wrong medication. I spoke with the pharmacist and he told me my correct prescription would be ready in an hour. When I asked “what about the medication they had given me?” He said I could bring it in and dispose of it. No returns. So I paid money out of my pocket for their mistake! My advice to everyone, check the medication when they give it to you. Make sure it’s correct. Not paying attention to what I was given was my mistake, and I paid for it.

Rudest Pharmacist I met. I needed a prescription immediately and the pharmacist refused to fill order because saying that are too busy and to call express scripts for information. Having worked in Patient access, when a patient needs help out is the job of the the patient point of contact to help the patient and not to fight or belittle them because information is missing. Simply do your job respectfully despite how busy you maybe. No one is too busy to help a customer or patient. It's common courtesy and patient care.

Their pharmacy is very unreliable and mismanaged. Prescriptions are never ready. You sit in the drive thru for 20 minutes then tell you they need more time and you have to come in with your sick kids because they want to close their drive thru window. LOOK ELSEWHERE!!!!!!

Poor communication skills, have to always ask if someone is a floater or ACTUALLY works there and still can not believe what they say because it changes daily upon the mood and rules in which this pharmacy would like to apply to who and when they wish. Don’t even bother filling it here. If they are EVEN filling the RIGHT prescription to begin with. And than blame it on you for not inspecting the bottle and medicine before you leave the store. Could’ve very well sued this location. Don’t bother with them-

I was just in this cvs and online it says they close at 11:00 on Google as well as cvs’ website. So my sister and I thought we would go in and buy a few things that we needed because they are the only place open around here. As we walk in we stop to look at a few makeup items and while standing there minding our own business an employee yelled “ can you go please I have an agenda” after that me and my sister questioned if it was about us and not long after they went on the loud speaker stating they were closing. I’m very confused because again both Google and cvs’ own website say they close at 11:00 so we walked out with nothing.

Went in to get generic medication, it was 247.50 for 30 pills. I refused it and went outside and went on good ex. Found Safeway had the same drug for $10.37.They should be arrested for price gauging.How many people especially seniors are they ripping off?

Very slow, poor communication, the pharmacy team all take off for lunch at the same time. Often it is much longer than the 30 minutes that they state. You can be placed on hold for 20 minute or longer. Bottom line, nobody cares.
