White clay has been our vet office for over 15 years now and we've always seen Dr. Winwood for the care of our dogs. The office has always been good to us weather it was routine appointments or the occasional need to get in ASAP. We are Pittie lovers and again between office and Dr.Winwood they have always been amazing and accepting of our pups. Unfortunately we just lost another one of our fur babies recently and the love and support that was offered from Dr. Winwood was very much needed. Thank you guys for everything you've done for our family. I'm sure we'll you guys again in the future.

If you could give this place a million stars I would. First the staff is very friendly and the Dr. Richard Spencer is extremely knowledgeable also extremely friendly and informative. I wish human doctors could be the same way as he is to animals. He is thee best Vet by far. Here is my new friend Chulo III

This is the best vet hospital I’ve taken my dog too. They are very friendly, helpful, quick, reasonably priced, and honest. I completely trust them with my dog and I completely trust them when I ask for a suggestion. They also are not like other vets who just want your money. A few times, I have called and asked if they think I should bring my dog in for an appointment about something I was concerned about and, unlike many other vets, they don’t just say “yes, bring him in” for the money. They honestly tell me what they think is best based on their expertise and have saved me money in the long run because of it. They have also been correct about any suggestions they gave me which shows me they know what they are talking about. I am very thankful I found this place.

Absolulety the WORST vet you could ask for. I was literally trying to get my dog an appointment and use the free office visit I have and they kept pushing me to other vets they had no care or concern for my dog. I explained I didn’t have 200 dollars to go to some EMERGENCY vet clinic. It’s NOT an emergency. 🚨 the staff had an attitude from the start. Told me to try several places then I call back just asking to get scheduled then they pop off with some more excuses and I told them, it’s sounds to me you all don’t want to schedule me for an appointment because we didn’t choose you to have her vaccines done.. worst place ever and I’ve had dogs all my life. Take your fur babies to someone who actually cares. I am having them send the money back they owe me and we will find a MUCH better and CARING doctor for my Charlie. Pathetic place is the best I got for these jokers

I do NOT enjoy writing a review when it can harm livelihoods. And this IS subjective.I breed cats. After 20 years you get know a lot. Especially when it comes to non invasive illnesses.I took an adult male in for a chronic upper respiratory to which I provided a background of medication given with the true hope that the vet would prescribe something appropriate and serious enough to knock it out.I was given the basic amoxicillin which is not light duty but it's certainly not azithromycin or something heavy duty to which I expressed a true desire for.After a second visit and a re-up of a light dosage I had no choice but to part ways at about $400 for the experience.The vet staff was nice. No one tried to get to know me though and for that I got the impression I was resented a bit for being a breeder and not a pet owner. But it just doesn't seem right to not leave any review while I'm now twice as concerned about going to another vet and spending money twice over when I know my cat needs something strong.And if you think I'm all about money, don't. I'll go to every end possible to keep my family healthy. I've finally secured the right medication at the right dosage.

The staff is amazing at the facility, I recently had my cat (Cooper) neutered here. There were no complications with procedure I was given details on how to give the the pain medicine as well as a hand written note on the bottle itself. The following day I received a call from one of the staff members checking on him and reassuring me if I had any questions or concerns to not hesitate to call.

Been here 3 time so far for my puppy. Staff is super kind and the pup always rushes to the vet tech and Dr. Winwood when he sees them. They’re so nice and accommodating as long as you give enough notice. They also don’t judge for any concerns you may have as a new pet owner. I was initially thinking of bringing him to the vet my parents used to go to for family dogs but after my visits and finding out other friends of mine take their dogs here as well this will definitely be my main vet for sure.

Dr Spencer and his staff are the best!! They have been treating my German Shepherds for 27 years. I have had 7 dogs during the 27 years and Doc and his staff have been absolutely awesome!

Excellent office. Caring, responsive, and ultra-friendly staff. We started taking our new puppy here and couldn't be more pleased with our choice. Staff always lays out all the choices before moving forward with treatment options and reasons for/against the different choices. You can't go wrong by choosing White clay creek vets.

FRONT DESK CHIC SUCKS, leaves you on hold - don't help, no answers on messages - rude, laughs at you when you are trying to contact the doctor. I've been there for 10 years and to find another just for the front desk is crazy - none of them at the front desk be there.

Love place. Very reasonable for the prices. More like family then a vet. Very honest and not about money. Most vets will give you a quote on surgery because all surgeries are different depending on the weight of a fur baby and if there is baby teeth stuck etc

They definitely care about the $$ more than my lil baby. Gonna switch back to my old vet or go the SPCA much cheaper vet service and neutering. I've never been told they need to make an estimate on neutering for any pet I've ever had except for this place.

Dr. Spencer and all of his staff is truly amazing! I have 5 mini dachshunds that he treats and not once has he ever mislead me or been incorrect on his diagnosis. I truly feel safe taking my fur babies here! Dr. Spencer, Donna , April. James and the rest of his staff (I'm sorry I can't remember everyone's name. These are the folks I have dealt with the most) go above and beyond for the patients and their owners. They have become like family and I appreciate them all!

The staff and veterinarians here are absolutely amazing. My dog had a traumatic experience at VCA, and after a few visits here, she was no longer fearful the moment the vet stepped in the room and actually ran up to them to say hello! We've seen each vet here, and they all take the time to fully understand my dogs needs as an individual, instead of just pushing us through with a standard approach. They were always very patient and intent on making sure she had a positive experience to slowly adjust her association of the vets as people she could trust. When discussing any issues or treatments, both vets and staff were communicative and always willing to help. Their rates are also very affordable, to the point that I never worried if something came up and we needed to come in because I knew the price would be reasonable. We're sad that we have to move away because of how wonderful of an experience we had at White Clay Creek, and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a vet.

Front desk staff are rude, sarcastic and have all around poor customer service manners. We have been going to these folks for years as the Doctors are AWESOME - but we are leaving due to staff.Most recently, two people at the desk watched me juggle my 15month old taking a fit, while trying to handle my dog and clean up his accident... All the front desk staff could do was offer a napkin, no assistance- thankfully a tech from the back saw me struggling and came to aid. Morale of the story you may get treated poorly but you pet will have a great doctor!

Nothing but wonderful things to say about this place. We take both of our puppies here and they are treated so kindly and with such care. They always remember our furry kiddies and comment on changes in their size and personality as the pups grow. The office is like extended family. The doctors and nurses are very knowledgeable and personable. Dr. Spencer performed two surgeries on my dog with outstanding results. He is very up front and will recommend specialists when an issue is outside of his offices expertise. The pricing at this office is reasonable, much cheaper than VCA whom I used previously. We also have had pets put down here and the experience was as good as can be expected given the situation.

There was nothing but care and compassion during the 9.5 years in the life of our beloved German Shepherd whenever we went into the office. Dr. Spencer used to be awesome. I think his practice grew and so did his ego. I was a long-time client with several animals. Paid my debts. My dog got old and sick and when I needed him most (early in the day, during office hours, weekday), he never returned my calls over several hours. My dog was getting worse. When I called back, he didn't even speak to me. He had taken care of her since she was a puppy. He told his staff to tell me to take her to the emergency vet on Marrows road which sucked even worse. That cost me over 4k and all she needed was iv glucose.I was so disappointed in him and his practice, he used to be awesome.

I had to recently put my cat to sleep. It was one of the most devastating experiences. The nurse who came in and helped assist the vet was one of the most caring and understanding people I have ever met. She came out of professional mode and really made this horrible time of my life a little easier. I can't remember her name but she is a wonderful person and deserves to be recognized for her great service. The front desk however needs to be replaced immediately. They are by far the rudest, nastiest group of people I have ever had to come in contact with. It makes me want to change vets because of the office staff. They had my mothers cat listed under my contact and refused to take the cat off of my file. I personally did not want to be responsible for someone else cat. Then had the audacity to tell me i needed to contact my mother immediately because of her animals. As i walked out (more like ran out) of the office after my cat was euthanized I heard a rude comment "sorry about your cat" as if i bothered her PERSONAL conversation with another staff member. The front desk needs a reality check and they need to know they are there to provide a service to their guests and to call their friends after business hours....
