Very clean & friendly place. I love the staff here, & they are so accommodating to you & your pets need no matter the type of animal. I always shop here first for all my pets needs. Although I haven't had very much luck with the live fish sales here. Although there is always a helpful associate working in that department. As an update their tanks now spear to be better maintained. I will definitely have to purchase some to try out. The animals & staff are out of this world and continue to such make it a very friendly environment to both people and pets.

This store is very clean and well stocked. I took my grandson to see the fish and small animals, and they did not disappoint. They had many fish, hamsters, and other small animals. Today, they didn't have any animals getting washed, so we will have to go back.

I took my 3-month-old puppy to get his first haircut this evening. Sam was his groomer. I don't feel like they were very accommodating, especially for a first-time customer. I would've loved for them to explain the process and be compassionate about my concerns. I initially asked if they could trim him prior to washing him. I don't like excess hair after a cut because of my son's allergies. Sam told me she couldn't use her tools on a dirty coat because it could mess them up. I was confused because it was just a trim with scissors, but she stuck to her story. I came from Middletown because 2 of my friends had very good experiences there with other groomers. I wanted some of his hair cut down because he has A LOT of hair. You can't even see his harness or collar. She told me she couldn't cut it because he was too wiggly. I also don't feel like she took enough hair from his pee-pee area. She wasn't there when I picked up my puppy, but I asked the other groomer if it looked like she took enough hair off. She immediately said something to the effect that she couldn't go behind Sam's work. I told her I was just asking if it looked like more hair could've been cut. She said she saw a small area that could've been cut more. I don't know if they were tired or had something else going on, but I didn't enjoy my experience. I can also still smell the stinky smell from his tears and his nails are still sharp (which was $15 extra). I won't be returning.UPDATE: Sarah & Rachel from Petsmart reached out to me and made things right. They explained that they were short-staffed yesterday, which could've led to these issues. I truly appreciate the prompt response and will give them another try if I can book Sarah or Anna.

Picked a few gifts for my dog for Xmas, was well stocked, place was very clean! Better than Petco. Only problem was short on help, only 1 register open, long line to check out!!!

This was my first visit to this store. I usually take Pepe to the Dover store, they were booked out until May. At this store, they were able to get us in the same day. Emalee did an amazing job, the store was organized and clean. The check out process was great, you were able to pick up your invoice outside the salon. Pepe was able to celebrate his 10th birthday in style. I will definitely return to this location.

Prices are a little bit higher than other stores but I have a PetSmart pals card and that definitely helps with discounts. The selection of fresh water fish was very nice and they seemed healthy. I bought two guppies and they are doing great so far.

Since when does PetSmart tell me how many fish I can buy for MY tank . I wanted To buy 3 medium bala sharks since mine have ended there life span of many years . The employee who was very nice asked me how many gallons is my tank .. I told her and she said she can only sell me one due to that I don’t have at least 125 gallons and this per the manager .. when did this even before become a rule or something they came up with .For years in my tank I have had Bala sharks up to at least 4-5 along with other fish and never had a problem . Well PetSmart you just lost a customer who spends a lot of money on my fish tank along with my furry children with toys , bones etc . Guess PETCO will get all business from now on !!!

Friendly staff, compassionate, and caring groomers. However, NEVER make grooming appointments before retail store is open. Managers (building key owners) are late, resulting in staff and customers waiting outside. When managers are on time, then the grooming staff is late; so customers line up at grooming door. Love the work they do but done with the overall mismanagement.

Best HAPPY place for my three hairy boys to go on a weekend. They have thee best treats my tiny guys. The staff is very cool. They come up to you and say hello to my boys and take the time to chat. We absolutely love going there. If I could give this place 6 stars I would.

Bad experience…. The staff was rude and never want to go there again.. i never know fish section was closing by 8.30pm,no one told me..when i went into shop it was around 8.16pm i was waiting for few minutes in fish section to get help to buy some.. around 8.33 one staff came and she was sooo rude and giving us last warning to get fishes and she wasnt patient enough to ask what fish i need too.. she was showing so much anger and i was literally scared to buy some more fishes…. Seriously rude!! If you really closing fish section around 8.30pm please keep a board so that no one will buy after 8.30. 😡😡😡😡😡

This review is just for the grooming department. Called today to verify they still did walk in nail trims and the price. The lady that answered the phone said they did. I went there specifically to have my dogs nails trimmed. I arrived and waited for someone to become free. The groomers were talking amongst themselves about other customers. Then one came out of the back room and called a customer to let her know their dog was ready to pick up. One of the other groomer made an unprofessional comment and was sarcastically saying that she did such a good job on that call. You could tell there was an undertone to it. When they finally got to me they looked up my number and found my dog. She asked for her rabies certificate. I didn’t know I had to bring it in and told her I left it at home. That was it, I came for nothing. I told her it would have been nice to have been told that on the phone. If I had, I would have brought it with me. She could care less. I told her that Pet Kare does it and never asked for one. It’s just a nail trim. I don’t mind bringing it had I known but they never notified me I needed an updated one. She told me to go back to Pet Kare. What a great way to loose a customer. I will never go back to the grooming salon of this PetSmart. The way they talk unprofessionally about their customers in front of another customer on top of their lack of customer service skills and turned me away for good.On a side note, I would give most of the store employees five stars. They are always pleasant and friendly when we come. Wish they could teach that to the grooming salon.
