We just adopted our sweet puppy a few days ago we’re already in love he is such a joy for my family ! Already bought him to our vet he is perfectly healthy ! We had the pleasure of dealing with Marilyn who was so pleasant and caring ! Everything was clean and inviting even the puppy was freshly bathed ! Can’t say enough of how smoothly and wonderful our adoption went ! We just love our little Dunkin so much !

Fur-Ever Paws Dog Rescue is a wonderful, foster based rescue. We adopted our little Abbey from them, and we couldn't be happier! I believe the reason it was so easy for her to be settled is because of the environment she came from. She is going to be two years old and, every day I'm very thankful for this rescue.

Fur-ever Paws is my new go to for all my dog needs! We fostered a dog for Fur-ever paws and we fell in love. The adoption process was seamless and easy! All of their staff was amazing. We utilized their grooming services as well for our new family member Duke and he looks like a brand new dog! We got the full service package. When we came to pick Duke up to our surprise we received professional photos! Darlene was amazing and Duke loves her, she treated him just like her own dogs and even let him play with her dogs after his service while he waited to be picked up! If I could give this place 100 stars I would! We will be back for our next service in 6 weeks with Duke

As you can see, even the vet fell in love with Ginger (formerly Art Lessons)! She is the SWEETEST pup, and we are so grateful to Fur-Ever Paws Dog Rescue for keeping her in excellent condition until we could get to her! This is an all-volunteer organization, but it is run like a professional operation. Bill and Denise are amazing people, and they seem to love each and every one of the dogs. They treated us like old friends too and taught us everything we needed to keep our new puppy happy and healthy. We really CAN'T THANK YOU ENOUGH!

I contacted the people caring for two sister Husky puppies and drove 2 and a half hours to see them . It was totally worth it and we adopted one of the pups. Denise was so great. She spent like 2 hours with us while we played with the puppies. And she gave us so much good information about taking care of puppies. The whole experience was wonderful and we are now enjoying our little puppy, Zola.

Denise with Forever Paws was Rainbows foster mom and mothers only puppies . She was wonderful with the pups and with us. She treated Rainbow extra special with just a little more love and hugs since she was kind a picked on from the other puppies. I can't say enough about them.

We live in NY. We have adopted 2 puppies from them now. We have been pleased with both of our adoptions. We have a senior Rottweiler mastiff mix dog and was looking for a puppy to learn from him. We Found a gorgeous 12 week dane malinois mix pup and a 11 week old great Pyrenees mix. We knew "music man" and "quiz questions" were meant to be for us. His foster family Denise and Bill were awesome. I always received fast responses when I reached out with any questions or concerns. She sent us lots of videos and pictures of the puppy and his litter mates before we came down to get him. I felt like we were adopting show dogs with how amazing they were and how well we were treated. I just can't say enough about how awesome the whole experience was. It was such a nice and stress-free environment to meet our new additions. The Pups were bathed, nails clipped before we went to see him. Denise and hubby Bill sent us many many pictures of him. It was so exciting. They were well worth the 4 hour and 34 min drive 1 way to get them. They both traveled awesome. He is incredibly smart and is learning so quick. I was so glad I found this rescue organization . We wouldn't think twice about driving down again in a few years to get another pup someday!! It was just that awesome of an experience. I would recommend this rescue to anyone looking to get a healthy rescue pup. They really take great care of the pups and you can tell how much they love what they do. And I am forever thankful for what they do with their rescues. I appreciate the time, effort and dedication they put into saving the lives of these precious little pups. Keep us the great work!! It's people like you who are making a huge difference In this world. We are loving our new beautiful handsome little pups that we named Banjo and the new guy we named Bear which is short for fuzzy bear!

Such a great experience meeting with the Foster, Denise, and adopting my new pup! Everything was smooth, thorough, I knew exactly what to do, in my continued care of my puppy. My husband & I and our other dog adore our new puppy & would definitely adopt with Fur-Evet PAWS again!

I’m giving this review because I adopted a puppy in October and had a few people contact me, which made me start to wonder some things. Today I reached out to them to ask why it seems they always only have puppies, and very rarely older dogs. They didn’t reply, but BLOCKED me. If they had nothing to hide they wouldn’t have blocked me. They charge $400.00 for the puppies and I thought that my question was not unreasonable and I was not rude when asking but said it in a polite way. I was simply curious. My curiosity got me blocked. That’s not right at all.

We adopted our Flower from Fur-Ever Paws about a month ago. The process was very easy compared to other rescues. Marilyn was very nice and took the time to answer all of our questions. Our Flower is a joy to have. She's such a great addition to the family.

Our experience adopting our little girl was so pleasant. Denise H is a professional foster dog mom! Her pups are on a schedule and are so well cared for. Denise’s affection for these dogs is truly apparent. The paperwork was efficiently presented and the whole transfer process went super smoothly. The puppies were well socialized. I cannot wait to see our girl grow up! (💖Radi O. Station)

We got a puppy, half German Shepherd half siberian huskies, named Rocky. As soon as we walked in Rocky came towards us, he knew we were meant to be. Rocky has been a very well behaved pup, loves our cat, although she's not fond of him yet. The dog rescue is very clean, the puppies are well taken care of and we are so happy we were able to adopt Rocky, he was rescued from a kill shelter so Fur Ever Paws is doing a great job! They are saving puppies lives, and we are able to be apart of that. To top it off, our Rocky is such a pretty boy with half blue and half Grey eyes, he's unique 💕 And I want to thank Darlene for all the help. She's stayed in contact with us to make Rocky was doing well. I am so grateful 🙏🏽

Easy to find location. Family of the House hold was very nice & informative about the history of our New puppy. They do have a puppy pack that includes the current dog food & other helpful supplies. (fyi,... i recommend Anyone to remember that if you want to change the dog food later, you should wean off the current into the new dog food.) Also, they do have a collar & leash, (now, it may not be what you want, however, it's a great 1st collar that they may out grow, so save your $ on a fancier one when they are better used to having a collar on.)We filled out the application paper work, but we was very eager to meet her & knew she was the one for our Family. So, we did call the number & had our appointment to meet her. She fits great with our family.

We are extremely happy with ever aspect of the process with Fur-Ever Paws. After the rough start many of the pets had they now are experiencing much love before reaching their forever homes! We could not be happier with our Molly! She has shown us that she knows this is her home & returns our love!If you are looking to adopt then this is the place to go!!!

We reached out about a puppy we saw on their site and were told that he had been adopted already. A week later they reached out again to let us know about another litter that had been born and was being transported to the area. We received pictures and set up a time to meet the foster and the dog. The foster Denise was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable and gave us great tips to get out new pup Hampton (formally String Bean) acclimated to our home and dog. The process was straight forward and very quick and the kennel was clean, safe, and well taken care of! I'd recommend filling out the application and then contacting the foster via text directly for a response.

11 months ago, I bought a 3-month female Australian Cattle (AC), whom I love and named Cozi. A few months later, I began to noticed that, although Cozi was a little active, she was not nearly as active as her sister (whom my daughter bought at the same time I purchased Cozi). She wasn’t even as active as my 12 year old Shih-Tzu. In fact, It came to a point when it was a struggled for Cozi to get up from a laying position, let alone get her to take walks. During the course of this time, Cozi has not missed anyone of her vet appointments. In fact, I was told that her constant fumbling was normal for a new puppy. Well, after several vet visits from 3 different offices, it wasn’t until after I insisted on getting Cozi hips X-rayed, did I find out that not only does Cozi has hip dysplasia in both hips, it is so “severe” that she needs hip replacements at best, or corrective surgery at least….followed by therapy. Neither of which I can afford. The vet repeatedly asked, “where did you get her from?!” He also stated that, hip dysplasia is inherited and that Cozi should have been screened for before being sold. In which, the reason for this review. I want to warn anyone against purchasing a dog from Fur-Ever Paw. They do not screen their puppies! So you would basically be playing ‘Russian Roulette” (so to speak), when purchasing a pet for them. Also, there so-called “starter kits,” which costs $40 (my daughter bought 2), are nothing more than products you can literally buy from dollar tree for $5 and dog food that you can purchase anywhere for just $6. I highly discourage anyone from buying a pet and products from Fur-Ever Paw!

After having someone stand me up after a 7-hour drive Denise saved the day! She and her husband were very responsive and kind! Last minute trip to see a litter of pups in HEAVEN and waiting for a forever home! When we saw Maeve (kind hearted) I knew she was the one for me. I would recommend this rescue and Denise to everyone. They definitely make sure these guys go to good/safe/loving homes.

@Cable Manage we actually were lucky enough to get one of Gus’s brothers January 2021 his name then was Grant. His vet recommended we do a DNA test and found out that he is American Staffordshire Terrier and Labrador. They do have bulldog in them but it was a grandparent that was the bulldog. We are forever grateful for our now Bent-Lee but we will never forget about his brothers that were all named with the first letter George, Gus and Grant. I can’t remember off hand the others but I do remember that it was 5 of them.

Around one year ago in January we brought home our new puppy named Gus. The place was well kept, and the people working there were helpful and were very professional with the work. But one thing that would've been nice would be more accurate breed listing. We were told that Gus was a labrador retriever and boxer mix but we later found out that Gus is bigger than we were told. He was only supposed to be 67 lbs but he is now over 100 lbs, HEALTHY and showing signs of being a cane corso mix.

Denise does it again! We are so in love with not only one puppy but two. The experience with the foster made us feel so welcome and like she truly wanted what was best for us and the puppies. We will never go anywhere else

I don't really know how to rate them. I adopted a puppy from them almost 6 months ago. He is beautiful and I love him and I am thankful they brought him to Delaware. After searching for a few months for an adult dog that I loved and my older male dog would also get along with, I finally decided to adopt a puppy instead. After 3 months of searching for the perfect puppy I saw his picture online, taken when he was down south, and he was just ridiculous looking, to the point where I had to see him for myself. Fur-ever Paws had literally nothing but puppies for adoption. To this day their adoptable dogs are still 99% puppies. That, to me, is a red flag. They conveniently had relatively few restrictions on adopting the puppies, which is a bad sign in general, but because I was in the process of buying my home and only 22 at the time, it was less of a hassle. Plus the puppy was adorable. I made an appointment to go up there to see him. Of course once I saw all the puppies from the litter there was a few more I wanted to feel out. According to their website the restrictions for adopting a dog is 18 years old, application, at least 30 minutes spent with the puppy, and some others. I never filled out an application. They never asked about my other dog. After maybe 15 minutes with the puppy I originally came to see I was asked if I wanted the dog or not. I felt rushed to make a very important decision. Apparently there was more people coming to look shortly after me. I instantly loved Bailey, but I will never lose the feeling that I truly wanted his sister instead. Now ignoring all those red flags, once I got him to my vet she was incredibly disappointed by how the information on the puppies were handled. Bailey had fleas, which the foster tried telling me his skin was just agitated from the cleaning solution she used on the floor. He had worms, which the paperwork said he was dewormed twice and the foster said she dewormed him again when he got there. Other than that he was healthy. Now he is 8 months old and healthy as can be. So I am thankful for the rescues existence. I would probably go through them again. However, I truly believe this is a cash cow operation, with little regard to actually saving animals.

We had a wonderful experience with Fur-Ever Paws Dog Rescue. We adopted directly from our pup's foster, Denise and Bill - it was apparent from the beginning that they have a true love and passion for helping these dogs and take really great care of all of them. The pup that we adopted is a loving and confident girl - I don't believe she'd be this way if Denise and Bill hadn't taken great care of her while she was waiting to be adopted. Thank you, Denise / Bill, & Fur-Ever Paws for allowing us to bring our sweet girl home - we are so lucky to have her in our lives!
