I ordered an 8 inch round cake from ACME for my partner's bday party last weekend. The cake decorator at ACME understood the assignment. She was so patient with me and took the time to understand what I was going for. And she delivered!The presentation was great and the cake tasted even better. Everyone at the party couldn't get enough of it.And the cupcakes were great too.I highly recommend going to ACME for decorative cakes while on budget!

The shelves were pretty well stocked, but the checkout setup is not great. I had the choice of going to the one long line with an actual cashier who has bags or go to the self checkout that had no bags at any station. The last screen of the scanning process even asks me how many store bags I used which seems pointless if they never stock them.

Good store. Just inflation way too much. Prices need to be lowered like now. For a tiny container of organic milk it's over $7 and for organic salad it's around $6. Cuz organic is all I will buy at this point. Trying my hardest to avoid bioengineered food with chemically altering harmful ingredients.

Prices are high but the two things that have me going back are the ladies in deli and the ladies in bakery. The women in this department go far and beyond. I picked up my son's cake today and they added basketball rings which was not something i ask for or expected. I appreciate that so much. The ladies at the deli always slice the coldcuts to our preference and shows us the cut without an attitude. Dawn is amazing and the other two ladies. The younger gentleman that's there is also very kind. But the other two older men want you in and out and don't always wash their hands for more than 3 seconds. Food handling and safety is so important. Awesome job with the cake. TY

I'm sorry but I use it by chicken from there. The fried chicken, I bought some the other day And I don't know what happened. But it was the worst chicken I ever tasted. It had no flavor it was dry. It was just horrible. I was very, very disappointed.And this was on October 24th.

Asiles were super clean, All the items were fully stacked. This is my first time visiting an ACME store and it was a good (got what i wanted) you need not get masked if you are fully vaccinated. It was not so big like Walmart or costco but decent one. Mostly i saw food / kitchen items.

It’s clean, it’s usually consistent and the employees are averagely nice and helpful if needed and the deli usually super friendly so that’s nice… and although their prices are high, I know that’s not done by that particular store or those particular employees so that’s besides the point of the review.. stores consistent, and their products are consistent as well. So what more could you ask for!!

I don't know what to say about a store that makes you scan your own items and does not provide bags....I should be on their payroll at this point. But the store was clean. I did not see any employees that could help me search for items. Just ok.

I frequently use the curbside. You have to remember to check don't substitute or they will give you a higher priced item. Other than that the order is always completed promptly and it is delivered to your car quickly. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Acme pricing is higher than some of the other grocery stores but they have a better selection of items and usually, the things I go for are in stock. The store is clean and the staff is friendly.

I knew I shouldn’t have gone here. I realize inflation is high but even before that I’m not stupid enough to buy into their buy one get one free mark ups. This is the absolute worst place to get groceries. $3 for a half gallon of milk, then I see a certain box of Cheerios is like $14 for three? Who the heck buys three of the same box. Let alone almost $7 for one. This is highway robbery at its finest. While you’re there, check out their bogo on chicken. Unless it’s dark meat you’d have to be insane to think that one pack costs that much & you’re actually getting something for free

Acme is my go to shopping market, the deli staff is super friendly, helpful, professional, and the make good food too! The cashiers and floor staff are great too, they're always willing to point you in the right direction. They spotted me looking like I didn't know where something was, and asked me if I needed help before I could even ask them

Great place to shop for your groceries, the prices, the sales and their customer service is outstanding and that alone makes it so loveable to shop there. Being disabled always having access to the scooters is a great plus. If you can't find something there's always an employee waiting to help you and they always go beyond to accommodate your needs. I highly recommend them to everyone. Meats fresh, prices decent and with superior customer service 😁 how can you go elsewhere?

Without a doubt the WORST Acme in the state of Delaware.... This Acme never has anything on its shelves... I go every day to by tea and odds and ends. I almost every visit leave without something I needed.. They NEVER have something as simple as Gold Peak sugar free tea... I spoke with the store manager Brandon and he did absolutely NOTHING to address my issue. Didn't even talk to anyone to have the tea put out. He did ask for my phone number and offered to call me if he fixed the problem... It's not just the tea. It's Everything. The shelves are always bare. It's a shame too because there are some nice people who work there. Stay far away from thisAcme. They will not have what you need.. The Acme in Fox Run shopping center is much much better.

Unfortunately, the blonde lady at the deli was very unprofessional and even discriminated against me. I'm a naturalized American citizen, and I entered a Ph.D. program, so I know I speak English very well. Nevertheless, when she heard a slight accent, she acted like she could not understand what I was saying. As a specialist in human behavior and organizational psychology , I wonder why employers still allow bias/discrimination in their work environment against customers albeit federal law make it illegal to discriminate because of a person's birthplace, ancestry, culture or language (Department of Justice, n.d).

This acme really needs to get it's Deli together. I've been going to this acme for 4 years since I moved here and never had a problem until recently. My last two experiences were awful and this is why....I went shopping with my son one morning and was harassed by the tall older guy with the longish white/grey hair because he just thought it was absolutely ridiculous that I would let my son watch paw patrol while we shopped. And he was rude about me adding on another half pound to my order, saying I'd be charged if I changed my mind again. Then today I came and the deli just let this couple taste test meats for 30 mins LITERALLY while 3 other people waited. I did my entire shopping order and came back and the 3 other people were finally being served. Another customer stopped to complain about the same thing. Then I ask for my roast beef sliced thin and it was as thick as could be, might as well as used a knife to cut it 🙄 I threw it in the cooler with the other presliced meats and called it a day because no way I'm paying 15$ a pound for something I won't eat. I was a devoted customer but I'm just over it at this point because I know I'll find another grocery store I like where I can get in and get my stuff without their being a problem or being belittled by employees

Caters to the superficial and newest trends which keep the prices up.Clean store, looks nice. Not sure where to find some items I want, and little help to be had searching. Check out lines are long as they keep cashiers to a minimum and self-check outs are few. Staff is very friendly when you can find one who is not swamped with work.

Not a good selection for anything. The deli and fresh fruit and vegetable departments are the smallest in the store.All of the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and the store is always clean

I ONLY shop at Acme. The prices on meat may be a little higher than other stores, but the customer service there has been outstanding! I would rather pay a little bit extra on meat and be around pleasant people than to have staff that act like you're bugging them because the self checkout doesn't work. It's always clean and everything's pretty stocked up. I do wish they would keep their produce fully stocked. Sometimes they run out of cilantro but I can overlook all of these things because the staff is so great!

Love the bakery section. Jumbo peanut butter chip cookies and sliced red velvet cake are great! And got some good meat from the 4 for $19.99 section.

Selection is usually good, things in stock. Usually on one check out open other than self checkout so if buying a lot, I find it best to go earlier in the morning to avoid waiting in long lines.

I had recently went shopping and spent about $460 at Acme which concluded everything that I needed to purchase for the house. I was literally at Acme for a total of an hour and like 10 minutes if that which made for spectacular timing. I literally was able to shop for everything that I needed for the house, go through the checkout line, bag everything and purchase all of the items within an hour and 10 minutes. That is record timing if you ask me!

Tried to buy $50 or more worth of lobster around 6pm and was told no. Said it would tie up the steamer. Ok? Won’t the next order tie up the steamer? Or any order? Lazy or Selective service. Guess that means they don’t steam lobster at this location anymore. At least the tall skinny black guy working tonight doesn’t. Never had this problem before. He’s the only one and it’s now happened multiple times. The small young lady always cooked it. So is this guy lazy or does he get his kicks out of telling “certain people” no. Tell me? Is there a logical explanation for turning away that sale? On Multiple occasions. Especially when they would close in about an hour and a half tonight anyway. Other then him being Lazy or selecting not to serve certain people

Because it is Delaware, they do not use plastic bags. From my area, we still use plastic. So you must have your own bags or pay 5 cents per paper bag. In my opinion INDUSTRY CONSPIRACY!!!
