I took my granddaughter's puppies in to get their 2 nails trimmed and I took my dog along.I'm intending to ask if they would be interested in attempting to do his nails as he's extremely difficult. They did them and I was super excited because I didn't hear him one bit while she was trimming his nails.

Moving to the area last fall, I saw Roses signs as I was driving, and am glad I walked in. They were able to get my pups in and we’ve been going for baths, nails and grooming since. Rose and the staff are always friendly and helpful. My two know when we’re passing by and tails start wagging like crazy - whether we’re going for an appointment or not!

I’ve never been there before but I want to but by some of the bad comments I’m scared to one of the comments about a women picking the dog up and had bloody footprints although I did find the one comment funny the one person who got fired and put a fake name up that was a hoot. I take my dog to Savannah in Lewis because it’s a vet place to but looking for another because had to wait from 12:45pm to 3:30pm because they said they wouldn’t be done with a staff meeting until then so why did they cal is for last minute cancellation if they knew they were having a staff meeting they should have called us in at 3pm when the meeting was over so the whole time she sat in a cage. So I guess I’m going to keep looking.

Staff is very friendly and my cat who bites and scratches me when I try to trim his claws just sits there and lets the groomer do whatever she wants. What takes me half an hour with blood shed takes her 90 seconds. Completely amazing!

Just had horrific experience at Grooming by Rose. A repeat customer with an early morning appt and close to 4 hours later, still no definitive time when my dog would be groomed. Went to pick her up, as I had afternoon plans, and Rose, the owner, actually called the state state police when i expressed my concerns.Receptionist was very rude, but I expected better customer service from the owner.Dog parents beware

I went in 2021 with my two pups and 3 cats, instructions weren't followed. The receptionist talked badly about me and my animals to another customer (who just so happened to be my sister) saying they had been there too long and how I needed to hurry up and get them (I dropped off as requested at 830 and picked up my 5 animals by 130 when they called me to tell me they were done at 1) They cut my dogs nails so short they bled and were still sharp, a dog almost escaped while I was picking up due to their setup. They didn't do flea treatments as requested. My sisters dogs who were also clients now need to be medicated to have their nails cut due to the pain & anxiety they endured while having their nails trimmed here. I would recommend PetSmart over this place - better pricing and better treatmentEdit: The owner comments below saying she cant believe my story 2 years later but then makes up a story about telling me not to return, and how I was apparently obnoxious. No I don't work for Petsmart or in Grooming - I came to leave a review after hearing a radio ad and it bringing back the poor experience to my mind

Horrible customer service. Heard racist remarks from the owner while I walked out. The establishment was dirty and unprofessional, the owner was screaming at her employees in front of customers and my dog’s hair was cut dangerously short. Not a fan, will never return. Can not recommend for anyone else.Response to owner- I don’t know who you believe this is, but I’ve never heard that name in my life. My boyfriend takes our dog into your shop, and when we returned, this is what I experienced. As a professional business, this was a disgusting response to criticism. However, it’s enlightening to see that you have such problems with your employees, that they would feel the need to write a ‘fake’ review. Have a nice day.

I was very disappointed! They kept my dogs all day even though my appointment was at 10 am. My dog was on the grooming table as they were closing! Gave specific instructions and they were disregarded. The length of time there caused one of my dogs so much stress we had to take her to the vet and incurred more expense. It didn’t look like they were even groomed. They sprayed them with a strong perfume spray, perhaps to cover not bathing? Not good.

I love Grooming by Rose. Everyone truly cares about your pup (and my dog can be cranky) and their grooming skills have shown and been wonderfully consistent during the three times I’ve taken my dog. He’s looked great after each appointment.My dog is older and developing small cysts. At his previously groomer, these cysts were frequently cut and bled afterwards. Since coming to Grooming by Rose, this has not happened.Their prices are also more reasonable than I’ve experienced with previous grooming salons. I am now a loyal customer.

Robin did an amazing job with our cat Squeaky. Patient and professional. Squeaky hates being groomed but Robin and that gem of a receptionist, Grace, handled it so well, even having Squeaky wait in a private room so she wouldn't be upset by the dogs. Very knowledgeable, too, and Robin took the time to steer me to a better flea treatment. THESE GROOMERS KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING! They understand the temperamental moods of cats, too, which is rare. I've taken Squeaky to 2 other places, and they couldn't groom her due to her scared cat attitude. Robin was able to patiently give Squeaky her cute Lion Cut. She looks adorable! Grooming by Rose is the best! Rose has it right, you have to understand animal behavior in order to serve their grooming needs. I highly recommend this pet salon to any pet owner who wants their pet treated with kindness.

I am a fairly new customer to Dog Grooming by Rose, but I could tell right away they were a caring team of gals. I found out that Rose and I both adopted rescue dogs from the same group in West Virginia. Since I had never had a rescue dog, she gave me lots of good advice and even took my dog home with her for several days to evaluate some unusual behaviors. Besides her caring attitude, my dog looks like a "show dog" when she finishes with Lucky's grooming. I would recommend this business to all animal lovers!!!!!!

I've been taking both my dogs to Rose to have their toenails trimmed. Rose and staff always make a big fuss over the dogs and love 'em up good. My one dog is VERY SHY. They take their time with her and she comes out with her foot fur and toenails nicely trimmed. Each time we go shy girl is a little more at ease. Nice clean place and people who seem to love dogs and their jobs.

I have been taking my Yorkie Harley to Rose since he was born. He is now almost 14. No complaints. They know he he has arthritis and defective valve disease and take great care of him. He always looks adorable when he leaves there!

This is not an upscale pet spa. But I think Rose really cares for the pets she grooms and their owners. She listened to my explanation as to why my cat is NOT a good kitty when it comes to getting her claws clipped. She had an appropriate solution and enlisted my help in making it work. Mission accomplished with everyone (cat included) safe, comfortable, and cared for. Then she coo'd over kitty and assured us she was welcome back anytime. I DO recommend her.

I haven't been able to find a groomer I've liked in a long time for my cat so I had been shaving her myself the last few years, but I drove by Grooming by Rose one day and figured I would give it a try. Robin is awesome! She does the kitties here and she was able to do exactly what I wanted, and my cat wasnt stressed! She came home looking like the little queen she is (just with less fur). We will definitely be back :)

Rose and Robin are GREAT with my dogs. One is VERY hyper and has anxiety but they just love on her more! I have been using them for grooming and overnight stays for over 8years and they always come back to me happy (sometimesthey want to stay!). Rose's shop is always very clean and they handle my babies with care. In the 8years I have been going to Rose, there has never been any issues. Please beware of a few negative reviews...there are 2 sides to every story. This is a loving a caring group of people and I trust them implicitly with my four legged children.

I have a very young kitten who needed to be De-flead these ladies were absolutely amazing, they were so sweet and fun and they even put my kitty by a heater after her bath so she would warm up faster. Absolutely amazing!! Can not recommend enough!Hi update I took my cat to the vet days after having her groomed here and the vet said they did an amazing job because she had no fleas or irritation! So thank you ladies again!!!

My dog has been boarded and groomed by Rose for about 9 years, the quality of her service has declined and her prices have increased. Recently I pick up my dog placed her in my car and noticed bloody foot prints, arriving at home I call Rose and she told me she used the wrong cutting blade ,yet forgot to tell me !! She did not offer me to pay my Vet bill . Upon our last conversation she told me her has enough business and hanged the phone up. You care do better for your dog.

First time using Grooming by Rose. I have a Cavalier King Charles and just needed her nails clipped. I agreed to a bath and blow dry but specifically told Rose not to cut her hair. I called her the day after and asked why she had cut her hair. She replied that she thought the trim was ok. She seemed overwhelmed on the phone and believed she had done the right thing. She finally did apologize at the end of our conversation and offered a free visit next time. There will be no “next time “.

Absolutely the best pet grooming you will find. Rose, Robin and Hanna are the nicest and most caring, gentle groomers. My Lacey and Murphy were treated like family and so was I. Their new location is fantastic for cleanliness and making your pets feel comfortable every time you visit.
