I bought a used Mahindra subcompact tractor from George this week. Not only would I recommend George to anybody looking to buy a new tractor, I recommend this store highly. The entire staff is wonderful and helpful. I found a new place to spend money. Thanks, Southern States.

I love this store! The ladies in this Milford location really know there stuff. They are quick to help and always have what we need. The Service Dept. is excellent as well. I needed some advice on my lawn mower and the Service Manager and Parts girl were very helpful and knowledgeable! They have a large selection of parts on hand and if they don't have it they will get it usually next day. I will always go here first!

I spend a lot of time dealing mostly with parts and service. Rebecca and Kevin always take care of me, get me what I want, make sure it's right the first time. They always make sure I'm in and out to get back on the job. Poncho in service tells me how it is and is always willing to help educate . Great group of people. Always a pleasure to go there.

Steve work in showroom very nice.Connie very nice give us lots of info drop soil to be tested.Blonde horrible heavy set woman in showroom doesn't know anything. Was going to send us away because know she didn't know how to pronounce are name and we were here the week before she no memory of it. Watching her do her job waiting for someone to help us she doesn't know anything. When came back to showroom she acted she was our best friend no thank you.Ryan was an awesome help to usSteve in office very nice professional a gentleman.

I will say that the products there are great. On the other hand I have just experienced the worst customer service in my life. In the parts department there is a female working the department with the nastiest attitude to have when dealing with customers. I was very offended and will not be spending my money with them as a result. But as I said the products there are great. I ended up going to Sullivans Landscaping on Rt.1 they had exactly what I needed and the people were great. Definitely will be going back.

Needed to get pellets for our stove yesterday went in like we have for the past two years to buy a pallet. Lady said I can't sell you a pallet ok so how many can I buy she said you can buy some???? Wouldn't even give me a number of bags I could buy. What's the big deal just tell me what you have. We generally buy 4 pallets a year so $1,000 worth of pellets oh well Bylers where more than happy to help us out. Are they holding them for someone more important? They had the product but wouldn't sell it.

Took my less than a year old stihl trimmer for repair. Took over 2 months to get back and warranty didn’t cover a faulty carb. I miss southern states in Lewes

Great staff. Farming supplies and more lawn mower repair shop, outdoor clothing, boots, pet supplies, plants, seeds, lawn equipment, propane, fuel oil, you name it this place has it.

I've been getting gas from southern states for years and today was the worst not only did I have a gas bill on my door but also a note from animal services saying there was a complaint about my dog not having water or food yet if they where that close they would have clearly seen I have a automatic dog feeder and a automatic watering system that is right out in the open and animal services said there was no concern so all they did was wast people's time if it happens again I'll be switching gas companies
