I absolutely loathe going to Walmart, so I'm extremely grateful for Food Lion. The in store shopping is always a pleasure & the FL to Go option rocks! They usually can fill your order within an hour of placing it, so that really is amazing. Their lunch meat is always fresh & tastes great. The milford location doesn't have a full seafood dept but the Harrington location does. Their meats are great quality & the produce is always fresh. I always love the variety of ethnic food options to create your own ethnic meals. They are always clean & well stocked. I 100% reccomend using the app to download coupons directly to your FL account & rack up the savings.

Some employees are racists. I was in line for a long time and only was getting one thing. Asked the lady at customer service if she could ring me up since they only had two lanes open and everyone had carts full of groceries. She told me no she gotta ring up the next person in line but she didn’t have a register open at the time that I asked. She was standing at customer service. Why couldn’t she just ring up my salad dressing first..? Might not go back there! I felt ignored and looked over! Wish I could give a half a star!

I actually love this store but store never has enough registers open during busy times. Everytime I use the mobile food pick up service I pull into the specific parking spot and call the number posted. I have never been able to get anyone to answer the phone. I always have to move my car and park in front of the doors and go in and tell them I am there. I get a bunch of excuses every time about why they didn't answer my call. Then I get home to find most of the items I selected are substituted for other items. The fruits and veggies are never great and items are not there.

Just because it's ad day and the day your ads switch over doesn't make it ok for a customer to pay anything over what is advertised. I fully disagree with that statement per the manager I just spoke with. Check dates and fine prints especially on their 'ad-days.' Note to self.

Food Lion has done quite a good job in changing its products and providing better service to make up for the scandals of the past. We were hesitant to go at first but are finding the prices and quality of the food to be very very good. We've even signed up for their MVP program and that has resulted in additional savings. I will reevaluate in a few months to see if they weren't a five-star rating, but as of now I am a food Lion fan.

Not a "super" store, but sufficient inventory, well presented. Serves a diverse community with many small subgroups nicely. A good number of locally sources items at good prices. Many prefer this to the nearby W-mart.Plenty of parking. Pleasant decor. Helpful staff.My only negative is the lack of self checkout and the express lines could be better managed.Competes well with Redners a few miles away in terms of quality and neighborhood feel (each has its own vibe; you pick). "W" is (often) cheaper, but this is a better food shopping experience.

Food lion is the best they are so much better then the rest they deal in such fresh foods and we'll aged Angus beef I love to shop the fresh herbs and produce especially the lettuce leaf.The lines are never to busy .With happy girls to check you out they are always with a smile and if you for some reason have a question or problem the managers will greet you ,help you and go the EXtra mile .Parking out in the lot is safe ,well lit and secure I go there as much as I can it's definitely one of my most favorites of food stores

Grocery pick up for the first time. It was perfect. Loved the customer service and all of my produce was fresh! They also text you as they shop and ask about substitutions with pictures of other options to choose from.. Will choose food lion from now on!

Tried to use the ladies bathroom on Sunday May 8 about 9:30 am and two of the toilets were blocked and disgustingly dirty . I nearly threw up it was that bad . Yet the Food Lion near DAFB in Dover always has clean bathrooms. The store over there too is much cleaner . Maybe they should get the manager from that store to come here and train the staff in Milford because the difference in cleanliness is huge

Spoke with Latoya and Grace in the Deli dept. who were very helpful in informing me of the length of time they cooked their 8 piece chicken. . They are9 kind and and informative. Thank you ladies. Also spoke to Jen Harris who was very polite. Very good employees who work in the store.

Very clean, spacious, with highly organized aisles; staff courteous and helpful. In bakery department the Tribeca multi seed Loaf is a sure winner - the only thing I consistently buy here- always fresh as the store only stocks a few each day. The produce department is ok on certain days; likewise if you’re lucky you can find good deals in fresh fruits. Haven’t found anything I like in the meat department, the seafood department is forgettable.

Store was clean and well stocked. Both associates abd customers seemed polite.For some reason, there was only 1 register open with 8 customers waiting for a while before the manager called for 2 more registers to be open. She was assisting customers at the service desk before noticing the backup and promptly handled it. Someone else should have either opened another register or notified management.

Love shopping here rather than Walmart. Its always clean, better variety of meats/fish and in my opinion better fruits and veggies. This place seems to keep items in stock better than other food lions in the area as well.

Very clean, decent prices on meats. I often feel like I am window shopping at most grocery stores, as the meat prices are so high, many shoppers cannot afford buying them. Better values here.

Milford Foodlion has some great service besides the blatant RACISM from some employees & customers. Deli shelves always full when I come in after my morning jog. I witness several "Karens" purposely make complaints as they nudge me and say they only want our people cutting their deli meats. Our people confused me until I seen her gesture to a white employee. I was raised to see a person worth through their work, not through their skin color. It's appalling.
