We contacted Nancy at Ancient Art Stone regarding having a section of our existing granite counter top removed. On the day of the removal three gentleman arrived on time and promptly began work. They did a great job containing all of the dust and debris generated by cutting the granite (in place). After the cutting was complete they polished the edge and made a flawless seam between the existing counter and the newly cut counter. I can't speak highly enough about the alteration work that these men completed for me. I highly recommend Ancient Art Stone

We had our kitchen done by Ancient Art Stone a few months ago and we are very happy with the way it came out! We had our pick of what granite counter tops we wanted, they installed a brand new sink, and also installed a brand new faucet that makes our kitchen look amazing! We did the backsplash ourselves, which doesn’t look too bad, but if we had to do it again, we would ask ancient art stone to do it for a more professional look. We highly recommend Ancient Art Stone for your next project and also it doesn’t hurt that they have the best prices on the Eastern Shore! Very satisfied customers!

I can not speak highly enough about Ancient Art Stone. They have great Sales Staff--Brandie and Nancy. Even after the contract was signed they helped me make a change in the size sink I wanted, and they are great about introducing me to alternate brands of Stone to keep me in budget. I also did some pricing around the area and they were the least expensive. When my Contractor saw the Counter he was VERY IMPRESSED.And so am IMark Cowherd, Milford DE

We cannot say enough about Brandie. She listened and heard us when we discussed the stone we were looking for. When our choices came in over budget she was able to provide us with alternative choices that we liked as much as a more exotic and more costly stone. Best of all, our selections were well within our budget and they will add to the beauty of our home. If we could give her more stars we would. We left Ancient Art with smiles on our faces and eager to recommend the store to others.

So excruciating to even repeat what happened to us. Steve was great at first, helped us pick a nice remnant piece for a small job to be done. Sit down to discuss layout. We have farmhouse sink that wasn't set because my husband knew that if it was in place they would have hard time getting granite piece in. Steve told him over and over it needs to be glued down or the template guy Joe is known to just walk out on your job. My husband asked again and I even got annoyed at how many times he asked Steve to make sure it HAD to be glued. So Steve calls the template guy ,Joe. Joe tells him it needs to be in place, Steve told us it needs to be glued. So you can guess the rest. So now the job will cost 1200 dollars more. My husband called to say why is this our fault?? Steve told us to glue down the sink and now you are charging us for his mistake. They agreed to take 450 dollars off but we still owe 800 more then the original quote. We even agreed to pay 500 more because it would be extra work. We asked to have owners call us and discuss. Steve actually called us back and said they are never going to call you. They won't even talk to us about what happened and now our sink is glued down😵‍💫. So much for small Delaware connections and thinking a handshake still holds value in this world. Your business is a disgrace and exactly what is wrong with this country today.

We had an outstanding experience. Steve was our sales rep and he was very knowledgeable and patient during our selection process. Pricing was more than fair and they were extremely accommodating scheduling the template measuring and the installation to fit our schedule. We received an email prior to the final cutting of the stone showing the pattern and design of the granite to verify our approval. The installation was on schedule and completed very professionally and safely, as this was done during the Covid-19 situation. I would definitely recommend Ancient Art Stone without hesitation.

The Ancient Art stone folks were absolutely amazing! My project included our kitchen counters, 2 bathrooms, and a bar area. The granite & quartz options we considered were beautiful, and the entire staff there was super knowledgeable. Our project was completed ahead of schedule, and on budget. Can't say enough great things about Ancient Art! We HIGHLY RECOMMEND them to anyone.

I can't say enough about how wonderful they were to me. Kaitlyn was exceptional from the moment I walked in to just look around. She provided the most excellent customer service. She was really on top of things and checked on me numerous times to see if I had everything I needed. She was more than patient with me when I was indecisive and really helped me make some decision choices. The installation was great as well. The installers were caring as well. They took time with me on a backsplash in the 1/2 bath when I was deciding if I wanted it on the side or just the back. Overall it was a wonderful experience from start to finish and I would definitely purchase from them again in the future.

First, love the staff! Knowledgeable, creative, helpful, and professional. That includes everyone - customer service, pricing, templates, installers. It's a good teamThey helped us design an interesting swoosh for the cat bowl (so the dog doesn't eat the cat food) and designed two templates for very detailed areas. Everything fits perfectly!I highly recommend this company.

I love this place!!! The people are wonderful!! Really whole staff and owner is a gem! A special callout to Brandie for ALWAYS going Above and Beyond when it comes to service and satisfaction!! Two important things to note, although I was informed from my builder that this place was "too expensive" and we couldn't use them for our home build, I have since found that to be absolutely not true!!! They are reasonably priced and have great products - I guess the builder was just used to buying bottom of the line product to maximize their profit. Secondly, they do amazing work - I have done two projects with them now, both great! Brandie worked with another company out of state to get granite we really wanted, it wasn't easy and they weren't making any money on the stone but they did it anyway!!! They did two countertop installs and made tables for us out of the remaining pieces! Even though they hadn't done table work, they were willing to try. Everything came out great - top notch company in Delaware!!! Highly recommend!!!

I went there with a rather odd question regarding replacing the granite on our patio table. The gentleman (unfortunately I didn't get his name) was extremely helpful. He really took the time to go over all the details of my request and was genuinely interested in making my day. Unfortunately, due to the type of granite required, he was unable to help. However, he researched and retrieved information from a competitor who would be likely to help. Excellent customer service!!!My wife and I are considering replacing the counter tops in our kitchen. Ancient Art Stone will be my first stop!

These are very nice, knowledgeable honest people to work with. Do not let people with a grudge influence you. They have a agenda and are trying to damage this mans reputation, just for protecting an elderly Man and his old dog after they were attacked by these peoples three vicious animals, that by the way were not the sweet little puppies they claim but 55 to 60 lb killer dogs.

We recently purchased new granite counter tops for our kitchen from Ancient Art Stone. The experience from beginning to end was completely positive.Our sales associate, Nancy, was knowledgable, personable, and extremely helpful. She was familiar with the inventory (huge - lots of choices)and gave us solid advice based on our unique needs. We were encouraged to view the lay-out before cutting so we could have input on the seaming and pattern location. The installation was clean, skilled and precise. Due to an old backsplash, we did have an unforeseen problem that was handled promptly and professionally. The manager came to our home, recognized the problem and proposed a satisfactory solution. We would highly recommend Ancient Art Stone for any counter top project. Thank you, Ancient Art Stone - we love our finished counter tops!

Those of you reviewing this business based on the events that took place on 5/19/2018 need to get your facts straight. This was a business owner protecting his customer and his customer's dog against an attack from 3 other dogs who did not belong on his property. The dogs suffered injuries as a result and two did die, however; the customer also suffered injuries and his dog had to be rushed to an emergency vet for critical wounds to the neck. Your reviews have nothing to do with this man's ability to perform the services he provides through his business. Shame on you all for trying to ruin him with lies and sensational half truths!! If you really want to know about his work, check out his awesome reviews on Houzz and don't buy into this hype that is being posted on here!

Just a few things. Make sure the work they complete actually matches the template that you approved prior to the installment. After I was displeased with one section of my countertop, I went back and forth with the owner about the issue. The owner admitted to me he was not happy with the template to begin with. If I had known that beforehand, this could have been avoided. He did render me a partial refund, and was professional. Just make sure to double check everything. Beautiful selection of granite. I would give more stars if they had actually made an effort to see the mistake in person and try to fix it, rather than giving me part of my money back.

This is a great place to look at stone for your kitchen and bath. There's a large selection, for you to choose from, in every budget. They work with all the better contractors in the state. They are knowledgeable and they have sources if they don't have the slab in stock. One of their suppliers is in Chantilly, VA where we bought from for our Vienna townhome. I'm sure we'll find the right stone for us in our budget.

This is a 5 star operation from start to finish! The entire staff from design to install was so very knowledgeable and professional. I especially want to complement Alex. She helped us through every step of the process. The granite we ultimately choose complements our not-so-expensive kitchen cabinets into looking like a true custom kitchen.We absolutely love our granite and would highly recommend Ancient Art Stone as "the" place to shop!

I have had Ancient Art do 3 different projects for me, they have done a GREAT job every time. I would recommend them highly and I have been in the construction business for 28 years. I have used both GRANITE and MAN-MADE SOLID SURFACE both turned out great!! Ask for Alex she knows her stuff!!!

No doubt this whole situation is heartbreaking for all involved. An even bigger question that needs to be asked is if Eric had another option than hurting those dogs why wouldn’t he take it? Why would he open himself up to this amount of scrutiny if he had a choice? Eric did the right thing in protecting his customers and their elderly dog from three vicious pit bulls that were on his private property. The owner of the dog, who was attacked by these pit bulls, broke his hand trying to remove the pit bull from biting the neck of his dog. His dog had to be rushed to the animal hospital. That part was kept out of social media so that the pit bull owners could spread a narrative that was in their favor. You are bashing a man and you have no idea what the whole story truly is. Based on one social media post you are all jumping on the band wagon to threaten Eric and you are spreading gossip based on one side of the story. By the way the dog owners were not even at the location when all of this happened. The people who are “Eric” bashing don’t even know Eric. You’re bashing a man who works hard every single day to provide for his family, his employees and his customers. An owner who works side by side with his employees and works countless hours to ensure that everyone stays employed. I will ALWAYS stand by ERIC and the business that he has created on truth, honestly, hard work and determination. The safety of Eric’s customers and his staff will always come first.
