The Walmart Supercenter is big store that stocks all types and kinds of daily needs, from foods to drinks to cooking utensils to cosmetics and toiletries to washing aids; bedding materials; clothing's for men, women, and kids; toys; medicines; and what not. It has a separate gardening section adjacent to the main center. In summary it's a superbly convenient place for shopping.

Look. I needed a pb&j sandwich, size T8 toddler sneakers, and a usb-c to usb-c cable. And a coke. And Tylenol. And a silly Halloween themed T-shirt. Where else should I go. 6-7 different stores?? I think the Walmart people were giving me weird looks for taking 50 photos of normal stuff on shelves.

Spent some time shopping around with my daughter today. She specifically likes this Walmart because it not only sells Claire's items in-store, but it there's actually a Claire's store itself, in front near customer service. Other than the Claire's shop, she loves any Walmart with a McDonald's inside! Unfortunately, this one doesn't have it.... but there is one located within a mile, with a small PlayPlace.Anyways, there's many Christmas items available already!& my 5-year-old daughter and I were quite excited about the various Stitch (from Lilo & Stitch) items they had available today.She ROCKS her new Stitch backpack!The location of this Walmart is actually pretty great. Nearby Kohl's & Dollar Tree.My little lady's 6th birthday is coming quick. I'd taken several images of a few items she'd like & that'd be nice for her to have.Yeaaahh. My reviews always feel more-so like a blog, lolol.

This was not a good experience. Went to get bags of mulch. Went into the garden center only to find that a steel wall separated the mulch & you had to go back outside to get to it. Then had to come back inside to pay for it. Since I am 75 years old, I asked for help to get it loaded. The two ladies at the register just looked at me & didn't seem to understand the issue. Offered no help nor did they call for assistance. I also said there were only a few bags on the pallet I could reach & the other pallet was loaded to the top & couldn't reach. (See picture) I would buy more if someone could get them down. Again no type of help. I would sure expect some type of help, especially for a senior citizen. Hopefully manager can explain this to their store staff.Thank you

Returns are always under staffed. Check out May have 2 lines open at best. Self checkout counters are always dirty. Frankly not better prices any longer. Still have inventory issues with shelves partially stocked. Can’t wait for new Target to open. This store will take a huge hit.

Marv was so incredibly helpful with multiple returns from our excess backpack drive. He is professional, caring, efficient and such a fabulous representation of customer service excellence at Walmart. I work in operations and training for a large billion dollar corporation and he’s a rare find in the retail industry. I wish we could hire him! Thank you for helping me and going the extra mile! I have literally gone to this Walmart on three separate occasions, *ready* to buy (once for a new tablet), cash in hand and getting employee’s attention, and have not gotten service within a half hour. Today I needed two pocket knives, and even after getting employee’s attention twice to get help, nobody came for an hour. An employee literally told me, to my face, “yeah bruh, you’re gonna be waiting for a minute,” before I gave up and bought my knives at Home Depot.I *cannot* stress this enough, you will be saving time and money avoiding this place at all costs. Whatever you’re buying, buy it somewhere else.

Went in for two PS5 controllers. Locked up. Talked to 4 different employees. None knew where the manager with the key was and no one even knew their name even. Employees were awesome and walked all over the store looking for them but no go 25 minutes later gave up.

Am from Philly and when i visit my daughter that lives in Smyrna, i always make sure that i stop at this Walmart for my shopping. Very clean and organized . A+ for the staff,very friendly and helpful .Everything that i need in 1 place.Best Walmart in Delaware!It will be much better if they had more cashiers at the register.

I really love Walmart for so many things. Went in for a replacement headlight for my vehicle. Locked cabinet. Requested from an associate to have someone come and help us. She was very pleasant and helpful. 15 minutes later still no one to help us on a day and time when the store was not busy. Ordered it from Amazon while I was standing in the store. I will have it tomorrow for $11 less. Probably should have done that in the first place. Very disappointing from a company and a store that usually does a wonderful job.

Awful experience. Accuse people of stealing. When they checked receipt item was paid for. Didn’t realize until we got home that the ignorant employees kept the item. When we called we were told we have to come back to their store to get reimbursed. So we now have to drive almost an hour because of their mistake. Upon talking to other people, This has happened to them as well Awful experience

Terrible ! New manager Stan has been trying hard and has been there over a month but still no changes . Spoke with head quarters and still the same issues . Shelves always empty and not enough employees to restock . This Walmart has completely lost touch with great customer service !!! So sad , since I really loved shopping here . Headquarters really needs to get involved . THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!!! PLEASE HIRE A CLEAN UP TEAM TO GET THIS GREAT COMMUNITY STORE BACK UP AND RUNNING..

Further zero stars. They lock everything up due to black folks stealing and then the associates don't come when you press the lame buttons they have out for help. Trash store. And They don't support freedom. They prohibit open carry. So they cater to criminals and encourage crime. So sad. This could be a good store if they just didn't hate freedom.

A quick visit today to pick up a few personal items. I received guidance at the door directly to the isle I needed for one item. I knew where to find the other. The store was spotless. Noticeably clean, organized and stocked. Every team member that I came into contact with (4 or 5 total) were smiling, friendly and helpful. Great job Middletown Walmart!

This place has almost anything to need but it can be frustrating finding it even if there is associates all around you. The associated tend to just be nonchalant and uninterested in any customer. Try it is a good place to get your basics and more.

Very low stock levels on everything. Too bad I couldn't get much for my grandson's birthday... Covid is over, get with the program.Update 9/17: things have gotten much better since my last review. Stock levels are up to appropriate ranges, and it's not as hectic and busy as it was just a few months ago.

I recently had a profoundly disappointing experience at the Middletown Walmart due to the extremely rude behavior of one of the managers. I've been a loyal customer for years, but this encounter has left me questioning my decision to continue shopping here.I approached the manager to address a concern I had with returning a product, hoping for a resolution or at least a respectful conversation. Instead, I was met with a shocking level of disrespect as the manager was dismissive and condescending throughout our conversation.Customer service is paramount in any business, and unfortunately, this particular manager failed to uphold even the most basic standards. I've never encountered such a lack of courtesy and professionalism before and this incident has severely impacted my perception of Walmart as a whole.*The manager in question had red hair but I unfortunately did not catch her name.
