Just reviewing the garden center. WOW! Anything you can think of for the garden or landscaping project, they have it. And the plants and flowers were all excellently maintained. Worth the trip. We have home depots near us, but travelled an hour to get here.

The washers and dryers they sell here r absolutely garbage. Working in the industrial laundry industry now opens my eyes to how good those machines r built and how bad these r built. If u r in need of a washer get a speed queen, milnor or unimac. Anything but basic appliances. Looks don’t always mean functionality. This review has nothing to do with the store but trying to steer people clear of bad clothes grinders 😂. Don’t even try to buy a balloon their because it will be popped before u check out by security

On Feb. 6th, 2024 I discovered that the Middletown, DE HomeDepot had some 50gal Rheem Propane Power Vent water heaters in stock that were totally unavailable in all other area's stores or even online. I ordered one, then two neighbors wanted the same. So we drove to the MIddletown store to pick them up. Delores and Dee at the Service desk were so helpful converting my single online order to one for three to pickup and Carl, Jay, Abe were most helpful and caring loading these 3 tall and heavvy boxes on my pickup truck. Great Store and excellent Customer Service.

Did curb side pick up for Lowes and Home Depot at the same time in the app for on my way. Went to lowes for pick up first and they were out with my merchandise within 4 minutes. Then drove to Home Depot. After waiting in the parking lot for 40 minutes, I went inside, after 10 minutes customer service told me it was brought out to my vehicle. After explaining to her this was impossible another person went and found my order. I was then given the cart and left on my own to take out to vehicle and load by myself. Done with Home Depot

Attended Kids Workshop Christmas Edition; Ginger Bread House. Kids 10&8 had fun and enjoyed building, painting, and putting stickers on house. All such things all included in kit. Each time a child completes a workshop they get a new pin each time

All I gotta say is this: how come they assigned a lady to work on blinds/roughs sections and she’s not capable to cut blinds because she doesn’t know how to use the machine??? So now you gotta wait for a person called “manager” or someone who knows how to handle the machine!!! Like please help me understand this??!?!?!!??

I went to this location on 9/16/23. As I was trying to shop there were mice running around. When I left I called to let them know and hopefully be reassured that as much as possible was being done to combat this so people can shop without worry. I was told by an associate “ yeah we’re aware of the mice, I’ll let them know” so just be aware shopping here. Check your items and make sure you don’t bring home anything with you, doesn’t seem like much is being done to combat this. Such a lackadaisical response. I won’t be back.

Not sure how to rate this location. Love the parking lot, it’s a breeze to get in and out, wide lanes. The store is decent, helpful employees. However. There are rats in the store, enjoying the birdseed. I have a huge phobia of rats so my rating may be a bit biased because everything else was decent there.

The Home Depot is located at 350 Auto Park Drive Middletown, DE 19709. The store is centrally located to provide unrivaled service the residents of Middletown, Odessa, and Townsend. Home Depot is the number one place for all of your home improvement needs. They offer a fantastic selection of tools, appliances, outdoor furniture, building materials, and gardening supplies. The staff is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and always willing to go the extra mile to satisfy customers. I definitely recommend the Middletown Home Depot.

I was in my daughter-in-law home waiting for a French door refrigerator service. The appointment was from 8am-5pm. I called HD at 11:15. I was transferred to A&E and was told they came at 7:47am. No text or phone call to my daughter-in-law they were coming before the window. A&E told me I will get a text with a window. I received a text at 3:39 pm that they already had come, and there was no one at the address. I don’t think so!

I have preferred to use Home Depot over the years for many reasons but unfortunately this location has ruined our relationship.During my remodel project I have been passed by struggling to load materials, unable to find help, hung up on by the flooring department. Told that a house measurement was proprietary and I have no access too it, despite not being able to find help in that department the last 4 trips into the store. Then the final nail was the manager, who needed to put me on hold while she dealt with something else. I have to say the state of retail has gone down hill. I’m into that place for 10k this year and they couldn’t care less. If you don’t require help then it’s fine but for needing assistance your better off utilizing another store. Like the Lowe’s that is right next store.

Very nice Home Depot. It’s clean, spacious and all the aisles are marked well.Usually at Home Depot I have trouble finding the correct aisle for the things I need. I then turn to the Home Depot app which tells me where the item is and the number available. But this store was different. Great information on the signage.I normally use the Christiana Home Depot in Newark, but this one is near my new office building. If you’re in Middletown and need Home Depot, try this one and see if you feel the same.

On December 31st I came to the store to get a chain I had bought cut. I went to the front desk and the gentleman that was there was helpful and ask the Co-worker in the paint area where I can get it cut. They told me to go to see Ray in aisle 13 or 14. I went there and saw Ray he was at the machine that makes keys. I introduced myself and ask if he would be able to do it. He said sure let me finish when the keys he was making and I said sure I'll wait for you by the cutter. 20 minutes pass and as I walk back to the key machine I heard I was giving Ray a hard time and he had to reset it. Now during this time, a couple more customers came for assistance. When one of the customers said to go ahead and help the man with his chain. I thought he was speaking for me. But Ray look me in my face put his head down and walk to the other customer that came after me. At that point I was angry. So I walk back to the front and told the gentleman that was in the paint department thank you for your help. But it seems like I won't be getting help. He apologized to me and wished me a Happy New Year and I responded the same. That God Lowes was next door. I did the same process and the lady page for someone to help me and a co-worker came and help me. NEVER again would I go to that Home Depot again.

Great place to pick up brand new space heaters for a very affordable price & 25 year warranty!!I went here yesterday morning with my brother so he could purchase a new space heater for his bedroom. I was very impressed with their selection. They have a wide range of different types of heaters from small spaces to outdoor options. Most were around $99-120, but I managed to find one that was ideal for his size room at about $60! Plus it automatically comes with a 25yr. manufacturer's warranty. He also added, The Home Depot's 2yr. product protection warranty for an additional $12.00 at the register. So altogether spent $72 & a little change.It's 23" in. tall, 1500w, automatic shut-off if it gets overheated, as well as if it happens to tip-over. Also came with a remote control {batteries not included}. Options include: setting it tooscillate or any desired direction, & selection of the perfect temperature on the blue lighted digital display. The best feature of all is that it's remarkably quiet considering it's a hot air fan blower type. Until you feel the lovely warmth pumping your way, you won't even know it's turned on.Staff was super amicable and had smiles on their faces; refreshing to find at 8:30am. But the people of Middletown, Delaware are a different kind of people compared to folks up North of this way. Kind, considerate individuals everywhere I go in this tight nit community.

I need to get some electrical outlets for my home and the electrician that had helped me was outstanding.I just need to get a 15 amp 120 V electrical socket and I’ve learned something if all these years I’m 68 this year that the gentleman told me what the two different types of screws were on the side of the outlet.The two silver screws on the left side of the outlet is for aluminum wiring and the two dark screws on the right side is for copper wiring.You’re never too old to learn new things.The cashier was friendly the gentleman to help me out with the wood I need to get was friendly courteous and actually help me get a piece of my plywood cut.I will be going back to Home Depot for my future projects.Please note in Delaware we do not have the plastic bags anymore if you go to Lowe’s you’re responsible to bring your own bags but Home Depot is now giving out paper recycle bags.

Ordered a new wall oven was delivered and installed in one weekOn the other hand ordered the same oven from Lowe's three months before ran into all kinds of problems with the store personnel and the installer three months later Lowe's said couldn't get the wall oven until July

Please do not special order any flooring from this store. (Pallets) I placed an order back on Aug 14th. The order number and my personal information was send to a customer in Pennsylvania. I spend over 10 hours at the store and online trying to get this mess resolve. The latest delivery update Sept 12th. Never ever will go back to Home Depot again…ever!

Nothing exceptionally good or bad. Home Depot backs all your purchases so never really a concern there. The store is mostly clean and put together. Stock shown through app is usually accurate. Any time I’ve had a problem, it’s been resolved. I have had to return to the store (aside from my own errors) but accidents happen and the store consistently covers any errors they make so I really cannot complain.

Home Depot in Middletown is a friendly place, well stocked. Today I went without my wallet and then managed to order online at the store, pay with Paypal and get out quick. The staff helped me do it smoothly. Didn't have any bad experience with them. Good team withing towards great customer satisfaction.

Don’t ever buy flooring and install package from this Home Depot. It has been an utter nightmare between them and ISIG the installer. Two and a half months latter I have one room done one room down to sub floor and can’t even get a call back. It’s sad, I can tell you I spoke to no less than 4 store managers who agree it’s a mess and promise to fix it but do nothing. Never again best lesson learned!
