German Shepherd, 110 pounds. Added on the de-shedding for $35 making the grooming $95. I was told he didn’t like the blow dryer on his bum so she was unable to get all of the undercoat out. That’s his worst area for shedding. I don’t see why I was still charged for something they couldn’t even complete. It looks like nothing was done. Recently moved here and have been trying different groomers in the area and I hate to say it but I’ll probably have to travel the 2 hours to his original groomer of 6 years who has never had an issue with him and the blow dryer and charges less than half the price for a much better job.My first appointment was cancelled the day of due to an employee being sick which was discouraging.The staff was friendly enough.Update: owner reached out and refunded me. Thank you very much.

Friendly place. I have only taken my pit bull to them to get his nails done. He is a big softie but when he has to get his nails done he can sometimes be temperamental but he loves the ladies at the dog stop. Finally a place that doesn't judge him for his breed. Now that he has warmed up to them I think it might be the time to try a bath.

Everyone is very friendly (people and dogs)! Bailey is always so excited to go and always comes home exhausted…which is a plus as she’s a puppy with lots of energy! Being able to check on her from time to time with the cameras is awesome! I’m able to see her interacting with the other dogs and I know she’s having a good time!

I appreciate the level of service I receive for my dog Summer. From setting up the appointment to drop off and pick up, the staff are friendly and professional. The person who takes care of Summer's grooming always checks to make sure she understands what I want and she is very patient with Summer as she gets very anxious about separating from me. We live 35 minutes away, but the service we receive is worth the drive. Thank you, Dog Stop for your excellent service and reasonable prices. I've already spread the word.

Reliable and trustworthy care. Menu items as an added benefit… the grooming/deshedding care was beautiful. They do a great job clipping nails too. We don’t feel sad dropping off our Dixie because she is always happy to go and is well adjusted to the facility and staff.

Smokey seemed Unsure if his stay on Day 1. However was happy to return day two. We will be taking Smokey to daycare 2 times a week. He comes home very tired! And had made many new friends. He was so tired he could not make it up the stairs. He took time to rest.

My experience was great. The staff was amazing, very friendly and generous. The shop was very welcoming and clean. My dog, Sophia haircut was really nice, she smelled soooo good and the price was reasonable. Definitely recommend ☺️👍🏾 and my groomer was the BEST, my dog comes with a few instructions but she was okay with it and did it just how I asked.

I've sent my Quinn to The Dog Stop for both boarding and Day Care and she absolutely loves it. And I love that you can keep an eye on the dogs because they have them live streamed on their site. Also, the staff they are all great, they're always very helpful and nice...esp their manager, Charne...you can ask her anything! LolDefinitely recommend, and would send Quinn there again. I actually purchased a day care pkg before and I'm glad that they don't expire, plus saves you a few $$. Prices are also reasonable and you can do add-ons to make your dog feel more at home.

We recently left our 15 month puppy for 2 days and an overnight and are very pleased with the care she received as well as the customer service. It was the first time she was away from us for so long. The staff had her playing with other littles and we were able to check in with her on the webcam. She’s a barky, anxious thing but they are well prepared to give her the attention she needed. We were delighted to see her tired but happy when we picked her up. We are grateful for Dogstop Middletown and will definitely be bringing our dog there again.

I always take my dog here. I wouldn’t take her anyplace else. She had a life-threatening dog attack last year and they are the only ones that take the time to calm her. They always do a great job!! Especially Madison!
