Finding a decent pharmacy in Middletown is a struggle. If our experience at the Giant Pharmacy today is indicative of their service, then this might be where we will move all of our prescription needs. My husband and I tried in vane to find a local pharmacy with any open appointments for a flu shot. With all of the chain pharmacy outposts in Middletown, we were surprised to find the soonest we could get the flu shot was in three days. As we were in the area, we stopped at Giant to see if they permitted walk in. Much to our surprise, they did. The pharmacist was gentle, kind, and very personable. We appreciated her thoughtfulness and her willingness to work with us. There was no attitude or condescension as we have experienced at other local pharmacies. We’re glad to have found a pharmacy and pharmacist that understands such a position isn’t just transactional. We will be back!

The pharmacy area is clean and easy to navigate. The staff are very friendly and helpful, taking the time to answer questions. Absolutely recommend!

Late to open. Don’t answer phone, meds out of stock when get same medications each month. Pharmacists and some staff seem bothered to assist. When I notify I will need meds days before they forget to order. Slow

Came in today for my mother’s 2 new prescriptions. The woman said there were 3 ready for my mother. There was actually only 2, but she attempted to give me the third one that belonged to another patient. I told her my mother was not prescribed the third one and she said “oops you didn’t see that. That didn’t happen haha”. Got home to realize she gave me the wrong mg for one of medications. I specifically told her what mg I was there to pick up that day yet she gave me the higher dose that she is to take at a later time. She had a good attitude but her double mistake really upset me as we are dealing with medications something serious! Thanks Casandra Nitowksi.. according to the receipt.

Frequently prescriptions are out of stock. I changed pharmacy due to male pharmacist. He was rude on several occasions and made me feel like my questions were stupid and didn't want to be bothered. All the other pharmacists were pleasant.

Had to run for a quick run because I had no deodorant. Found this pharmacy and they had a big selection of deodorants. Thanks for the save!

picked up a prescription @ Dove Run pharmacy & when I got home & looked @ receipt, I was charged "a donation fee' of 94 cents, NO one asked me if I wanted to do that...that's not right to change a prescription from $8.06 to $9.00
