Not usually crowded. Sale prices are good but non sale prices can be a bit high. Service is usually slow. The self check machines are abysmal. Produce is fair. The fish section always seems to have a foul odor. Love the bakery. Great lemon meringue pie and cakes. Oh, and they have Berger Cookies!

We’ve been doing grocery pick up since COVID and we’ve recently started receiving the best service since Jeff has joined the pickup team. He’s always kind, helpful and ends every interaction with “Thank you for your business!” He’s such a great add to your team! A lot of the other employees could learn a thing or two from him.

The receiver is rude. They have two dock sides, one on each end both have receiving times posted on the doors. You’ll knock and they can hear you because you can hear them and he will ignore you …blatantly. Instead of just saying come around to the other side. If you are new dropping off here you would never know. I knocked on the door i docked next to. How hard is it to have some human decency and SPEAK. And why have the rudest person on your payroll the receiving manager? I called customer service and the lady said “he must be in one of his moods”. Go home if you don’t want to work. The rest of us are trying to make the best out of our days.

Stopped in for powerball and mega millions tickets.Strolled about the store to comparison shop against pricing of Acme and Walmart items usually purchased by me. Got a few bananas 🍌, then left.Store very clean; I checked the produce out, too. I did see one very withering plum in the fresh fruit area - unexpected finding because TV commercials say they are experts in judging fruit.

Nice and clean market... every so often you will find some great deals.. most of the cashiers are friendly... some of them need more training in regards to customer service ...espacially the young folks.

I have been a loyal customer since this store opened. To say the least I have been very disappointed recently. While I understand this store as well as many others are trying to prevent stealing, the self checkout has been minimized to 20 or less items. I personally prefer to bag my own items. So when I do a large shopping I now have to go to a register with an associate where there is very little room at the bagging area and the clerk does not bag my items. There is usually only 1 to 3 registers open and this becomes very frustrating after standing in a long line. Also, your clerks could use more training on how to react with customers. They look annoyed when you get in their line and they don’t speak to you. This is terrible customer service. I won’t even mention how many times I have seen rotten and moldy food. You really should have better management look into these issues.

Be very careful that the price you're charged agrees with the posted one. May have been a 1 off but ice posted at $2.59 billed at $3.79. Not an easy mistake.

Just wanted some clams. Only customer in line. Gave it 15 minutes then just grabbed my own bag. Numb nuts puts down his phone to yell at me, says I’ll be right with you. Said I’m good. He says you can’t pick your own bag. Moral of the story, no one should be buying questionable seafood from a surly teenager at a very mediocre grocery store. That bag of clams will still be there four days from now

This might sound dramatic but they recently changed the self check out machines to be weight detecting and they’re torturous now. Literally had to get the workers assistance 7 times in one simple transaction. Five cases of soda? You’re picking up every single one and scanning them individually and putting them on the scale. I used to do all my shopping here even though the prices are a little higher because I generally really like the store and its rewards program. But the check out experience is now so bad and frustrating I’ll probably pivot to shopping at Aldi instead.

Did not have my cake ready on Saturday, I called a week in advance.Came to pick up cake on Sunday, was told $33.00 was charged $38.99The writing on the cake was slanted and looked like a 3 yr old did it, wanted blue trim on cake, got nothing, no balloons, etc. Will never get cake from this location again.Very unhappy with service!!!

I've shopped here since it existed and I have to leave a complaint due to the new self checkout. If you don't put the item down within half a second it calls employee over. If you move anything around in the bagging area it will error and call an employee over. If you scan the wrong barcode it doesn't reject it it calls an employee over. It was so bad the employee told me to go to another checkout and START ALL OVER since it glitched out. This is insane.

I love all the international food they have there. I shop there at least 4 times a week . The only reason why I gave a 4 star is because they need better customer service. They need to interact with their customers more often and say thank you.

Not only is it as overpriced as Acme but they often close the deli earlier than 7 which is already earlier than necessary due to "staffing"? What does that mean? Did you mean to say "we didn't staff properly" or "too many call outs" or "we don't pay our staff enough to show up" or what? Closed 30 minutes early due to "staffing" does not help me when I specifically called earlier in the day to ask "Hi! What time does your deli close?" The associate who answered screamed "THE DELI??" I confirmed "Yes, the deli." She screams back "SEVEN". I leave work and head right for this awful grocery store because I just don't want to drive to North Wilmington to go to Sprouts. Unfortunately I'm greeted by a sign over the ticket printer that says"CLOSED DUE TO STAFFING." Yes I am enraged over a supermarket having staffing issues and closing their deli 30 minutes early but it doesn't change that it is the worst grocery store in town. Go somewhere else to get your Boars Head.

Never had a bad experience here, they carry a ton of Keto friendly stuff. Prices aside always a good place. Though, during this visit, I'm dying to know what happened in the men's room....place looks like a murder happened in there and was poorly cleaned up. Blood all over the ceiling and even staining the walls. Kinda horrifying tbh.

I like this store. Serious supply of organic & gluten free groceries in all departments. Nice bakery. Super yummy Strawberry bar cake!! Meat department is smaller than most grocery stores, but clean & well stocked. Produce dept carries a variety of Organics & ready to eat items. Very nice staff all around. Prices range from average to high. But if you need organics or gluten free- they have it. My only issue is there are limited registers open daily, so you’re sort of forced to use self checkout.

Out of 5 of the other Giants that I've lived by/frequently visited in the past, this ones the most dirtiest.. but I live close by here now, so it's more convenient for me. I don't like the produce because I've seen a lot of it isn't as fresh/crisp, soggy, moldy etc. I really feel they lack in that area. And as far as I've seen, there's no legit organic aisle which would be really nice.

The store is very clean and they have a great cold cuts from Boar's Head. Everyone that works there is nice. Only giving 4 stars because they are expensive when it comes to fruit and meat/fish. However, the quality is better.

This was a great shopping experience. The way the store is laid out makes sense, unlike other local grocers that seem awkward. There is a nice variety of everything...aisles are spacious and a self check out area.
