I am writing to share my disappointing experience with Seaside Pet Salon and Spa in the hopes of sparing others from similar frustration. It is my sincere recommendation that you consider alternative establishments for your beloved pets' care.On numerous occasions, I entrusted my pet Gabby to Seaside Pet Salon and Spa for her monthly nail trims, only to encounter unreliable service. Despite my attempts to schedule appointments and accommodate their schedule, I consistently faced the inconvenience of being turned away with the excuse that they were not performing nail trims that day and do not schedule nail trims.Recently, while visiting our daughter and entrusting Gabby to the care of another, we sought a simple nail trim for her comfort during her stay. Unfortunately, Seaside Pet Salon and Spa failed to provide this basic service after multiple attempts. This lack of reliability and consistency is deeply concerning.While I have utilized their services in the past, I can no longer endorse or support Seaside Pet Salon and Spa due to their demonstrated unreliability. I urge you to seek out establishments that prioritize consistency and professionalism in their pet care services.Bruce

We went here because of all the good reviews but we are very disappointed in this grooming! Our dog went in with a few mattes but not very serious ones because we brush him daily.For starters he is a Havanese not a Miniature Poodle! so this face cut is all wrong and way to short on the nose area. Then on his ears they cut it super uneven, he's longer in some spots and down to the edge of the ear in others. We where so disappointed that when he came out we didn’t even recognize him anymore. We didn’t want to bother going back in because the damage was done at this time. Definitely will not recommend or return.

Because this was the only groomer able to take care of our past dog we continued when we got our puppy. She’s two now, goes in about every six weeks, and still gets excited to go in and looks adorable every time she comes out!

STAY AWAY from this groomer! If I could give them 0 out of 5 I would. It’s filthy, dogs are running everywhere and staff do not value customers. There was always fur and dust all over the place. And staff seemed very unconcerned about the quality of work they would do on your pup. The last straw, however, was the inconsistency with booking appointments. On several occasions, we made an appointment that was not entered into the system so when we arrived, we were turned away and they could not even reschedule even when we showed them the appointment card. Staff really don’t seem to care at all about their clientele. This business is NOT worth your time, money, and pets overall safety. Would highly recommend not using them. By far the worst groomer in my over 30 years of being a dog owner.

My dog has never looked better. I have a 16 year old dog and they are so kind and caring with him. That means more to me than anything. He looks perfectly groomed, fluffy white and I know he's with people that love animals.

The people that worked there were nice, but the service I paid for was horrible. I thought I was dropping my golden doddle off for a grooming at 8.30 AM, but apparently it is like dropping your dog off at daycare. Other dogs were apparently dropped off at 8 AM, so they didn’t even start grooming my dog until 1 PM. I have no idea what was going on before then. When we picked her up, we were shocked and angry with cut. Her cut around the face no longer looks like a golden doodle. The hair around her face was shaved. She no longer has any whiskers. You NEVER cut a dog’s whiskers. Whiskers are dogs sensory input.Her cut is so bad. It looks like a kennel cut. She has no hair on her face. She had more hair on her face as a puppy. She is a golden doddle they are known for the cut face with hair. We asked for a golden doddle puppy hair cut. Which is a standard doddle hair cut. Our dog has been hiding and has been sad all day since returning home. Never again. If you want your dog shaved go there. My husband was trying to saved a buck. $20 cheaper. What a waste. Never going back.

I’ve taken my golden doodle several times to seaside . He had to be shaven because of knots closed to skin, however I’ve been diligent about brushing g him. Today he went in for bath and pamper, I was explicit about not shaving him. Well, they did , cut his beautiful eyelashes left little hair on his head. Now I know he wasn’t knotted this time had a couple around his ears, was no need to shave him especially since I requested to not be shaved. They could have called me if they ran into trouble but did not! 130.00I will not go back..as another customer said in her review! She brought her golden doodle in and they shaved him…I requested no shave! So dissatisfied…

They are doing great job and very friendly . I took my puppy Sunny. He is a Corgi as you know all corgis hate trimming nails. I was looking for a place but hesitating to take him for that . My experience was great they were so nice and kind to him and was done so quick ! Thanks again! Definitely recommended!

Best groomer in the area. I tried 4 others before Seaside. None were what I was use to. Thank goodness I found Seaside. Belle is great with my Maltese/Shitzu mix. He always looks great.

I cannot say enough great things about Seaside Pet Salon!!. Jessica is an awesome groomer. The dogs have the options of spending time in a crate with the door open/closed or they can run around the secured pinned area and play with other pups that are waiting to be groomed or picked up. I scheduled my pup's appointment on the spur of the moment when our sugeon moved his cataract surgery up a few days and I had to get him groomed before his surgery. I explained to Jessica he was blind and newly adopted and I had no idea how he would behave with her. I was very anxious about leaving him since we had only had him about two weeks. She was so kind and within the hour she called and told me I could come and pick him up. He looked SO handsome and was as calm as he could be. There he was playing with his ball,just as I had left him...totally unaffected. We have continued to go back because they do such a great job. Their enviroment is clean,the dogs are happy and they get your pup in and out looking spectacular. Solid 5 STARS!

I love this groomer and would highly recommend to everyone. I love that they openly groom your animals and don’t hide whatever from you. I love that they clearly care about your dog. It’s so true, we need to listen to our dogs via their mannerisms. Before Seaside opened, we would take her to other groomers; and looking back, she would do an about face n try to pull me away. She never does that at this groomers.On another note, there is a groomer very close to this one (please read their reviews). It’s off of Clay Rd. I did take my dog to this woman when she worked inside a pet store near Bling. And I recently read their reviews and was shocked! my dog would shake etc. I could kick myself for not picking up on the signs my dog was giving me - I can’t review them bc I haven’t been to her new dog salon. I say, listen to your intuition. The owners clearly are not animal lovers.

Asked if they groomed PWD and said oh yes. My dog went looking like a Porti and came out with poodle ears and tail. Took her back in and was told will take the FLUFF OFF. They did. Don’t think I’ll be going back. Maybe good for small breed paws but if you have a large paw this would not be a go to.
