Careful with the bakery and deli departments and stay safe. The employees DO NOT change their gloves between tasks. Have witnessed this on 3 separate occasions with different employees. When ordering a birthday cake the tip of the icing bag was dropped on the floor and then picked up and placed back on the icing bag without cleaning. Mentioned it each time to the store manager on duty receiving, at best, a like warm response and shoulder shrug.

Love this market. It is almost fun to shop here. A great selection of prepared meals at the right price, which won't let you down. Great prices for most items. OJ and milk and eggs are very reasonably priced. Never have to wait for check out is a great plus.The staff are super friendly and helpful.

I only come here because of the prices. The sales are great. I got 3, 1 pound cans of claw crabmeat for $15.99 each. The regular prices are lower than most grocery stores in the area. The produce and meat / seafood departments are exceptional, with a lot of fresh options to keep you satisfied. Everything looked clean and was stored and displayed the way it should be and at the proper temperature. I was very impressed with the level of care. Unfortunately, that's all the nice things I can say. Most of the employees (teenagers and younger 20 somethings) were either rude or oblivious. I guess that's everywhere now. I will definitely be back. I just won't ask for help.

Nice grocery store, decent selection. I go there for the fresh stuff. The caramel popcorn is hard to avoid because it's delicious and made in store. Management could improve, they recently improved their checkout line. Used to be a bunch of staff just standing around.

First of all most of these reviews are insane! This is and is what it is. Redners is a local fresh small market with lots of ready made and to go meals. Great atmosphere and the staff are over the top nice. Although they might have some tiny issues with stocking and display, but the store did just open. Give management time. Go spend double at the big box supermarkets or shop at redners

Horrible grocery store. Access here in Lewes is insane. Employees obviously don’t care. Prices are sickening. Management puts the slowest people on the checkout lines. Produce and meat ARE NOT fresh. Bakery is awful. They stock everything to pad their pockets but not what people want. Come on, no Lawry’s Garlic salt ?? They can’t find an inch on the shelves for that? This sorry store will never measure up to Stauffers in PA or Publix in FL. This is the closest grocery store to me and I was happy when it opened but I’ll never go here again because it’s the worst grocery store I’ve ever been to. This is what happens when a terrible family gets greedy. Hopefully this place will shut down and a real grocery store will open here.

Deli did not remove the casing from the sandwich pepperoni. Please take the time and make sure before slicing so this doesn’t happen again. Plastic doesn’t taste very good with pepperoni

Suggest you bag your groceries. Checkers are not trained, for example, cans don not go on top of grapes and tomatoes. Items should not be thrown in the bag either. Some training might be a good idea.

This is a great store, but I don’t like how you have to drive through a neighborhood just to get to it. It should have its own entrance and exit. Very inconvenient

1st time in this new Lewes store and I was blown away. Farm to table produce, freshly baked popcorn, freshly made sushi, prepared dinners (seafood for me and meatloaf for hubby) at good prices, and helpful friendly staff.

I like to get my gas here because it's deserted most of the time. Prices are basically the same as Wawa but I don't have to deal with that cluster; feeling like I'm pulling into the wild West of parking lots with throngs of people everywhere. Ugh... That's why I go here instead!

Wonderful new supermarket. Welcome to my neighborhood. Almost everything we need, including Latin American products. Clean, neat, and organized. Bakery is fabulously delicious! Prices are much more reasonable. Finally, I no longer have to fight traffic on Coastal Hwy to shop at those expensive supermarkets, nor drive to other towns!

Fresh produce, meats and seafood are so much better than our other grocery stores in the area. Also it looked like a good place to pick up to go foods. Staff was vrry friendly. Wide isles make shopping so much more pleasant.

Needs some improvement. I like this store and am glad it opened in this location for quick groceries close by. I enter from Vinyard Lane and there needs to be 2 way traffic here. By the time I enter here and have to exit on the other side it nullifies the convenience of this being close to my house. I might as well go elsewhere to fight the traffic back down Route 9. The items stocked are fine, if I need more specialty items it’s maybe not the place but for a neighborhood market no complaints. The checkout process infuriates me here. The self checkouts are a nightmare. I can’t leave without having an attendant fix them multiple times. They double scan items and throw errors constantly. Lots of produce rings up as the wrong item. That alone makes me not want to come. The employees know they are glitchy. Fix the software and the exit and this will go from a 3 star experience to a 4-5 star experience.

There are none of these either close to my home or within any of my regular commutes. But they are worth the visit even just for one of their fresh chicken salad sandwiches in the deli. Plus there's a 5 for $30 (something like that) of entrees... More to come...

These bad reviews are New Yorkers or Jersey folks who moved here. This is a great addition to town. It’s nice seeing more grocery selections over the years. I love how much cheaper it is for me to get meat and produce here that’s decent quality. Being in your 20s and shopping for your self Cost and arm and leg. So for any young people this is a great place for good meat and veggies!
