I'm vacationing in the area, and spent one afternoon in Lewes. I stopped in this pet store because I am always looking for a store that carries UpCountry harnesses. Many stores carry the UpCountry leashes and collars, but not the harnesses. The second I walked into the store, the lady at the register greeted me while she was helping some customers. Once she finished helping the customers, she immediately came up to me and my dogs with treats for my little ones. Her kind gesture made me feel so welcome. This store carries a lot of UpCountry products in many designs, which amazed me. The wide selection gave me a better idea how the different designs look in person. Unfortunately, their UpCountry harness selection in Size Small was very limited. The lady, Jody, working there was so helpful. She went in the back to see if there are more in the size I am looking for. Then she texted the owner to see if there will be some coming in the order they just placed. Then she offered to order the harnesses and have them shipped to me. She even showed me the catalog of all the UpCountry harness design. I'm so please with the customer service. Definitely, unique. I rarely encounter services like this that goes above and beyond. While I was shopping around looking at the products they carry, I recognized a lot of the brands that are NOT sold at chain stores like PetSmart and Petco. These brands are sold at pet boutiques and specialty pet stores that sell high quality pet products. This store sells dog treats, toys, harnesses, collars, leashes, clothes, doggles, gifts and a smaller section with cat products... They didn't forget the kitties. Everything was so well organized, and the store has a lot of merchandise. The store is also very clean. I really enjoyed my visit, and had a nice conversation with Jody. One of my little dogs, the white and black one, likes to bark at almost everyone. Jody and the customers were so understanding and nice, and didn't seem to mind that my little one was yappy. I really appreciate that. I will definitely stop by the next time I vacation in this area. I have such a great shopping experience. Thank you!!

Went in to the store and saw these stuffed plush dogs around the store. I picked one up and as I was walking towards the register the lady in the store who is presumably the owner informed me that they’re displays and not for sale. Upon looking around further, majority of the “merchandise” isn’t for sale as I was told. Clearly this lady has an addiction and can’t let go of her dog products.

I bought a harness for my black lab puppy at the store. I purposely came there to make sure that it was fitted correctly. After him wearing for one day, it was obvious it was too big. I stopped back at the store to have them fed it again. This time it’s way too tight! It was rubbing under his armpit, and the webbing of the harnesses all crunched from being scrunched under his arm. I came back today, and that the young lady at the store as well as the manager on the phone was extremely rude, and not willing to fix it or give me a new harness. I asked to speak to the owner , I waited for two hours for her to return my call. Just now when I called the store, they said she’s in an emergency with her dog and will call me later. I am leaving town this afternoon, and this is not been settled as to what they’re going to do about the harness and the fitting from their store. if they plan to be a high end dog shop in downtown Lewes. you would think that they would have better customer service and obviously nicer help!! With so many dog stores around in Lewes, Rehoboth , and Dewey, not to mention chain stores like Petsmart I would suggest you go somewhere else for better service and cheaper prices!

My husband and I were looking for outfits and a collar for our mini daschaund so google said this place had alot. They did have alot of collars but the collars were $25 and they had no extra small outfits. We did get a toy but even that was alot.

If you love your pet(s) as much as I do, you'll find plenty of neat stuff to spoil your best friend.In the summer, parking is at a premium, so go early or you'll need to park farther away and walk. Lots of other shopping near by.

Great little pet shop. Owner/clerk was very friendly and offered treats to each dog that came in while we were there. Great conversation and even carried a few hard to find items.

I am so sorry. I can't leave 4 stars, but yes - yes three. They show they care. Others are just pretenders - because they use you for your money.
