I would like to express my gratitude and honestly the joy that overcame me when shopping at this Lowe’s. The young man Vince in the pro section helped me so much. I purchased some tools and opened a line of credit. I got the my discount and walked away happy with the service I got. My loyalty now belongs to Lowes, sorry Home Depot you just can’t compete. The customer service people were welcoming and warm. The knew the store and asked me if I needed some help right when I walked in. I will be coming back here for now on. Keep up the good work Lowes!

I went to the store over a week ago and purchased a refrigerator. The delivery was scheduled for the 9th, and it never showed up. So I called the store and asked what's going on with the order. Unbeknownst to me, the salesman in appliances Rick sold me a fridge that was already sold to someone else. So I spoke to a manager, Jesse, who "fixed the issue" by giving me a delivery date of the 13th, again it did not show up. Went back to the store and spoke to the assistant manager Danny, who then gave me a delivery date of the 15th. It showed up today, all scratched and dented. There was no protection around the fridge, just the box thrown over it. I highly recommend that you do not shop at Lowes in Lewes Delaware and take your business elsewhere. It is absolutely ridiculous to go through this much trouble for a refrigerator.*Edit 11/17* I attempted to get a refund put back on my lowes credit card and was told a blatant lie by an associate at customer service. He told me none of the managers know how to put a refund through the system, and only 1 person in the entire store knows how and told me to come back Monday when she's working. This has to be the absolute worst experience at any retail store I've ever shopped at. The amount of carelessness from associates to management is shocking. Makes me wonder how these inept people became managers.

If I could go negative stars I would. I hate to be the stereotypical person that only leaves a review for a poor experience, but this was quite frankly such a bad experience I feel it’s important enough to do so. I was remotely working on a renovation project in Bethany Beach and utilize this Lowe’s to order a whole new set of kitchen appliances, two stacked washer and dryers, and a fireplace (which never actually came). I really should have been prepared for such a poor experience given to 20 min + wait times just to speak to a human whenever I called in. That is not an exaggeration. They can check the call logs it was literally a 20 min hold time every single call. Finally when someone would answer, I would share with them my issue (multiple calls to note missing items, delayed, and more) they would always say well look into it and call you back. over 7 times I was told someone would call me back and not once did I ever receive a phone call. I finally would yell please don’t hang up and begged to be put on yet another hold instead. Long story somewhat shortened, I never received the fireplace. I’ve waited an abysmal amount of time on the phone just to speak with some of the rudest and most unhelpful people ever, and I’m still waiting for the one washer and dryer to be delivered( this is after I have paid someone twice to wait all day for a delivery,and the first time it never showed up and the second time it showed up with huge dents in it so the delivery team was not comfortable delivering it in that state). Now I have no idea if I will ever get this washer and dryer (note I already have the one set there so to order new from another store means they will not match). And I’ve taken the time to write this review all while waiting another 25 MINuTeS on the phone just to speak with a human about it. Do yourself a huge favor and pick any other hardware store nearby!!!

Lowe's is the closest home improvement store to my house, so I shop there regularly. It's so convenient to order a bag of soil or mulch and use the app to indicate when you arrive. Workers bring it right to the designated pickup space number. I can also let the store know if I send my spouse. Very convenient!

They keep offering less product for more money. Unreliable with stock of products or location within the store. The last two visits I couldn’t find what I was looking for or found out they stopped carrying a product and had to go elsewhere. Lowe’s won’t be on my list of places for hardware anymore

My husband and I checked at store 0658 (Lewes, DE), terminal 9 on 2/23/2024 at 3:20 pm. There was a small kiosk of plants in front of that checkout location. Several plants on the top tier were wilted and near death. I reported this to the cashier who just shrugged. Next I asked if two women cashiers close by might care and he said “no”. When I asked if there was some water available nearby, he replied, “yes outside”. Note that it was raining! This brazen lack of caring for not just the plants, but the client’s concern is unacceptable I would appreciate a follow up to this review.

Ordered a washing machine online and was supposed to have a delivery on December 23rd, 2023. We received text messages throughout the day confirming the delivery and that they would be here between 1:30pm and 5:30pm. At 2:30pm we received a text from the delivery driver that he wasn’t coming because the washer looked damaged. I asked him to deliver it so I could take pictures of the damage. Delivery driver never showed up but did send a text picture of the machine. Called the Lewes, De store and was on hold for over 35 minutes, just to be hung up on and had to call and wait again. Finally, after someone answered, they said it wasn’t their issue and I would need to wait for the delivery driver. No one ever showed. Called the 24th of December and was told to wait and call back on the 26th of December. Called in to the store and was told the delivery driver never returned the washer and we can’t start a refund until they bring the washer back. Called the delivery driver and he finally responded that it’s not his problem and will return it when they get time. Everyone keeps passing the blame with no accountability.This has been a huge hassle and I will never purchase another appliance or home service through Lowe’s.Update: Called the store on the 27th and 28th after long waits on hold, we finally got to speak with someone. Store is refusing a refund since the washer has not been returned by the delivery team. I called the delivery driver and was promptly told “Don’t call me and talk to Lowe’s.” I explained Lowe’s needed the washer back and they are refusing a refund. Driver responded “Not my problem, I don’t have anything on my truck.” Called Lowe’s again and my wife spoke with the store manager. Manager instantly refunded the purchase price after we explained we are disputing the charges for non delivery with our credit card company.Just went to Delmarva Appliances in Dover, ordered the same washer, lower price, and will be delivered on Tuesday. Very disappointed with our experience.

Purchased a glass panel. Pick up was quick and efficient. Went to get the glass cut. At first the employee summoned someone over the radio to come cut it. After waiting 20 minutes, noone. He then began helping another customer and told us he would cut the glass for us after he helped the customer. Hence 35 minutes later.....made no sense. We kind of felt some type of way. We go to Home Depot and staff are constantly saying hello are you being helped. We come to Lowes and no one wants to help us. 2nd bad experience at Lowes...and 2 different locations, same experience.

Unfortunately I can only give Lowes 1 star. I went 2 the Millsboro store only 2 find that they did not have the tile I needed. The staff was very helpful and directed me to either Lewes or Salisbury who both had the tile in stock. My wife got on line and had the tile put on hold in Lewes. We got a notice that the order was ready. I drove from Bethaney to Lewes. Customer service looked at me as if I had 2 heads and sent me back to the flooring dept. Was told they had nothing on hold for me. Fortunately they had some on the shelf.We definitely need a Home Depot in Millsboro. So disappointed every time I go there.

Review based on my experience on 02/03/24.The person who was attending the self-check was extremely rude to the person who was accompanying me. That day I paid and when we were trying to leave the store the store sensor went off for some reason. We went back to have the products we purchased reviewed. The person who helped us before approached and very rudely asked my companion if he had something hidden in his clothes. All because my companion is Latino!!!I approached and opened my bag and asked him if he had to check me too. Very sad experience at Lowes, I had never gone through such an unpleasant situation.

Worst experience @ a Lowe’s in my living history. Employees are beyond rude & even my cart was taken as I went to venture for another item; almost a grand in sales they lost on that cart! No willingness to aid consumers and any simple questions are met with resistance. Entire staff needs retraining on basic customer service skills.

I really can't rate Lowe's any higher than a three and that's stretching it they have some very nasty cashier and service people there and they have some very nice ones the store is managed terribly most of those around here seem to be managed terribly they don't answer the phone you can't get a hold of them and they blame it on not being able to hire peopleAnd now they want you to use the app to let them know you're there to pick up your order I don't use my cell phone for those things and all I want is a phone number to call so then I have to look up the number to the store call and call and call till someone answers it's really not an efficient and effective way to run a business now their products are a different story when you buy stuff you usually get good things what you ask for but it's the service the non-service non-customer service that just causes your blood pressure to go up.When I finally got somebody to come out and get the stuff that's so heavy out of my car the lady says you better have your receiver they won't be taking it back. hello

Lewes Lowes Rocks! I had a bad experience with the Millsboro Lowes last month. (See my slightly salty review for details) I wanted to buy a dishwasher over the phone to have installed in our Coastal Cottage in Ocean View, DE and though Millsboro was closer, the Lewes store .....wait for it. Answered the phone!I want to give you money, please take my money, I want to buy a dishwasher - just answer your phone!Well, Lewes Lowes came through! I bought the KitchenAid dishwasher (the only one that has controls on the front) and it was installed by All American Electric out of Greenwood, DE. They did a super job and everything went smoothly and I even saved $200 bucks through the 4th of July sale!Lewes Lowes also cheerfully refunded me for 2 peripheral items that were not needed, after all, in the install. Thanks, Lewes Lowes, you beat your Millsboro sister store in customer service and by mostly, answering your phone!

Great place to go to get a little bit of everything. With road construction the entrance was moved but it is still open. I recently loaded up on all the items needed to get my lawn ready for the upcoming summer season. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The store is clean and organized. You should definitely stop in.

Where is the negative button?? I’ve never seen a busier Lowe’s anywhere. They have too much volume and not enough employees to handle your request. DO NOT ORDER APPLIANCES to be delivered from this Lowe’s. What a mess. I ordered 6 items. Only 3 got delivered, but I wasn’t notified why only 3 got delivered. I had to do the research myself to find out what was going on. No one even called me to reschedule. I ended up picking up 1 appliance myself. Then I had to get a refund for the other 2 because they kept dragging their heels on delivery (4 scheduled delivery times with no-shows). I’m moving on to Shore Appliance for my needs. I will give a shout-out to Cliff in the appliance department. He’s a very courteous employee that bent over backwards to help me.

I needed help in the garden section of Lowes. Gary answered my questions in a friendly, knowledgeable way.The elderly woman @ the customer service desk was of little help to me & she was somewhat rude.I understand that working @ the courtesy desk must get very trying, but that was the job given to her.To put a grouchy lady @ the customer service desk does little for customer service.I left the desk thinking that I’d just go over to Home Depot to see if someone there could answer my questions.That’s when I met Gary.A gem of an employee!!!Because of his kindness, I continued my shopping @ Lowes.

The store itself is fine—or at least generally on par with the HD next door. I occasionally find things out of stock and need to make a stop next door, but I find the same problems at HD too. Luckily both stores are close.Where this location really struggles is with customer care:We have frequently had “store pickup” orders cancelled immediately after placing them forcing us to walk in and go get them off the shelf our selves. What’s the point of offering pickup then?One day we went in with our dog who must have had an upset stomach as he had an accident immediately after walking in. I asked customer service if they had any cleaning supplies and the lady at the counter peeked below her register and replied “nope” then went right back to helping the next person in line. I had to ask 3 employees for help before getting some towels and cleaning supplies. Does nobody clean the store or does customer service want us to just leave it there? The lack of help was actually hard to reconcile.Lastly, special order items are apparently subject to a 3 day return window. There is no indication of this online and when I asked in store how to identify these products when purchasing for pickup, I was told “I don’t know”, and that was it.While the store is fine, many of the staff members seem to be uniformed or have no desire to help beyond the bare minimum. The HD next door totally outshines in this area.

Management should be fired for clearly not staffing the store in the afternoons with capable employees. Waited 36 min to get a gas weed wacker unlocked. 3 employees said they would get someone and nobody showed to unlock. Finally said hell with it and walked out. Went to ace hardware and paid a couple bucks more but got service right away and was out the store in 10 min shame on management

Went to paint counter to get more paint to finish a job started. No one around to mix the color. No response to pages or calls. Went to order some new appliances at the store. Cost was cheaper online. Could not or would not use their own online price. Placed an order an expected delivery and installation to be coordinated and completed together. Started getting calls and order pick ups more than 30 days from when everything was to be delivered and installed. Just a bad experience with this Lowe’s. Will not be going there anymore.

What a great experience Saturday evening at Lowes. Too young employs, Justin in the garden center and Patrick at the front end went well above than what was expected. as I was checking out, Patrick came over assistant the cashier thanked me for my service, and insisted that he was going to assist me with the block that I had purchased. Now mind you it was pouring rain. He insisted that he not only push the cart filled with blocks, but also loaded them into my vehicle. A thank you to both young man.

Store is cluttered with carts full of items headed for the shelves that are abandoned. If you can't find it on the shelves you may be able to find it on a cart in the middle of an already small isle caused by using the isles to display merchandise. However if you enjoy mazes you just might give Lowe's 5 stars
