Friendly service. Was Impressed with how clean the kitchen is. The fried chicken is better then royal farms. Doesn't have all the salt. Overall great little mom and pop store/ gas station.

This is one of the best places to get a good meal. The fried chicken is top notch, the potatoe wedges are awesome and the cornbread. The people serving there are super friendly and down to earth. Yes you may wait a bit but it is well worth it.

Country Store… absolutely country and delicious food. This is no frills fill your belly with the stuff your momma used to make when you were hungry.Gas pumps and grits. I got the scrapple sandwich and it was a monster. Three bites before I could even reach the roll. This is country fair extraordinaire.Plenty of parking. Nice people on the other side of the counter and all the convenience store stuff you need. Thanks.

Best cheese steaks I've had in a long time my new definitely favorite place live in maryland now but born and raised in southern part of DE lived never knew existed honestly till Tuesday drove an hour today just to go back for food me and my fiancé are going back tmr for lunch and then after work dinner!!!!HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

First and last time there. Two stars are only for the wonderful woman at the register. I put in a order at 7:21p, I know the times because I was texting the person I was getting the order for, last night for a cheeseburger sub with MUSTARD AND PICKLES, french fries, and broccoli bites. At 7:50 the woman that wears a hair net says they didn't put down enough burgers so it will be longer but we will also give you a separate burger. Next time I will have pay more attention to what they put down she says🤷🏻‍♀️ Finally at 8:15 I get my order. Get to the house open the cheeseburger sub and it only has KETCHUP no mustard or pickles I asked for. Barely any fries in the box and no ranch with the broccoli bites. Yes I know placing an order at the store will take some time but not almost an hour.

I was driving through this nice scenic route and noticed this gas station. Sure, I love filling up at WaWa with the great wages they pay their employees, but I also love supporting small business. Shame The Country Store doesn't have a branch located near me as their "Mom and Pop" feel surpasses the joy I get from filling up at WaWa.

I ordered over the phone, a cheesesteak with MUSHROOMS!!!! KEEP THAT IN MIND!!! I get to the place, and i’m patiently waiting for them, but when they came up I see one says “Mustard” I asked if there was mustard on it, and she said yes. She brings it back to the cook to fix and i can hear her directly say “i’m not remaking that, she’s gonna have to pay for it”. IM NOT PAYING FOR A MUSTARD CHEESESTEAK, WHO WANTS THAT?!? And THEN, the older white lady, whom is a cook, tried to basically gaslight into thinking i said mustard over the phone. I had to leave without the cheesesteak entirely. Considering this is a small store, and family owned, you’d think they’d atleast TRY to cater to their customers. But i guess not. Never going back. #Whoputsmustardonacheesesteak

Let's just say if you haven't made it to the kenton store for a breakfast sandwich you need too!! I love their scrapple egg and cheese sandwich!! They put so much scapple on it. Definitely amazing! Went there today just because I was craving it!! Thanks Kenton store for making amazing breakfast sandwiches 🥪😋!

Went to get breakfast this morning (sunday) like we always do. We'll we go today and the red headed lady that works there says in a real nasty tone. Do you need something? What do you want? Felt like we were an inconvenience to her. At that point I was frustrated because you go to an establishment and don't get greated in a friendly manner. There was no can I help you. She is nasty and has been so rude over the months. I don't think I'll be back to this place after this.

I really used to love this place, they had the best cheesesteaks! Now they use about half the meat, they haven't figured out that they need a new check out system so don't expect to get through their line in under 15 minutes, the past 4 times they have not gotten a single order correct, my last one was for a chef salad, went in 30 minutes later still haven't made my SALAD and thought extra egg meant no meat. If any other store was local they would be out of business

Arrived at the store at 6:55 and were told they weren’t taking any hot orders. I wouldn’t have a problem with that if they closed at seven but was told that they close at eight. Made a special trip for Sandwiches! Won’t do that again! Our go to will remain our go to! Sorry you couldn’t serve us!

worst place ever always out of everything and only taking grill orders till 8:30 but if you order 10 mins before they will still tell you too bad too late. Sometimes they will still have cooked cheesesteaks but not burgers , like forreal your cooking on the same stove what one takes a little longer than the other? This place has went downhill, their always messing up my cheesesteaks when we can order them my husband is allergic to dairy and when I ask for just a steak sandwich with no cheese I always get cheese on it, out of 10 times only 1 time might have been right. I don't know the kind of people they have working there.

$$ ....This place is awesome! Hubby and I moved here over a year ago and it's our only "go to" for alternative quick dinners. Slammin' store made food, their cheeseburgers and Cheese steaks are top notch.Amazing ginormous cookies and brownies. Kudos to this place for a good menu and really cool staff. Quality items for a gas station/country store.Plus they're SO neat! Gotta appreciate that!Give em' a try!

This place has great food. You wouldnt expect what looks like a gas station from the outside to have such good homestyle country food options. Breakfast sandwich's are great, chicken is great, sides are great, just all around good food.

Never get a Spicy Chicken sandwich. The bun was soggy. The outside of the sandwich was covered in Hot sauce. Horrible don’t even eat there.

They overcharge for the food, I mean $5 for a sandwich, what kind of price is that, I could make the exact same sandwich at home for free. And whenever I go in, I see dead flies everywhere. 1 out of 5. If I were you, I would not come inside this greasy shack and order food.

HORRIBLE!!! Ask for a simple cheesesteak with ketchup only. Drive home which isn’t close to find it full of onions which I cannot stand at all!! This is a one and done. Never again!

The food is great!!! Subs, Cheesesteaks, and lemon pepper wings are a must. This is only a carry out, but you can call in the orders ahead so they are ready for you. This is the best place anywhere in the Smynra/Dover Area for this type of food. It's #1 hidden local's spot. A must try.

Best Hoagies & Cheese Steaks for a lot of miles. I have tried most things on the menu, and it all has been good. But, the Hoagies & Cheese Steaks are the best. Good choices on the menu with fair prices. I just wish they delivered.

Last time I will order sandwiches from you order is always wrong in some way. This time was the worst. Italian sub ordered with oil had a half inch of mayo. Turkey sub had to have mayo scrapped off to a normal level. Cleaned the Italian off and put it on bread.

My favorite place to stop when visiting Bombay Hook NWR. Very friendly (Ask for Michael) excellent service and great food. The chicken is perfection, and the fries are heavenly!

We moved here 6 months and we went to country store a few days ago the first time there we got the chicken was delicious and staff was friendly. We go there all the time now for something fast and delicious
