$10.49 for a large cheesesteak with mushrooms. I am not sure how but this was a good cheesesteak. This was definitely a ‘sum of the parts far-out value’ the individual pieces. The best way to describe the roll is a mini loaf of bread. There was a good amount of meat but nothing really to write home about. Good amount of cheese and it was melted through very nicely. Fried onions and mushrooms were there but really didn't stand out. The Tomato was weak. Somehow it all came together and made for a nice cheesesteak. A little on the mushy side and it had a sweetness to it.

This place is a hidden gem. We just moved to the area from Philly and I’m very happy to find a place with real cheesesteaks right around the corner. They give you lots of meat! Same goes for the hoagies, big and stuffed with tasty meats and very light on the veggies. And very reasonably priced too. They also make burgers and chicken sandwiches, they have lots of candy, chips, and just about any kind of soft drink you can think of. They have a couple of tables to eat at, but it’s more of a take out kind of place. Definitely worth checking out!

Hands down the best food I’ve had in Delaware since I moved from New Orleans. The staff was friendly and as soon as I walked in I felt a homely vibe. All around great place. If you haven’t been you’re missing out.

Omg! Best sub I've had in years! GotItalian subs today, first time there. Somuch meat!!! And so good!!! Thats howyou make a sub! Will definitely go back.If you haven't tried it, go there, you willnever eat a sub from another place again!

First time visiting this business since it was taken over by new owners. Workers were rude. Weren’t much help with my order. It was lunch time so pretty busy. The cashier charged me for a sub even tho I corrected her that it was only a sandwich. $17.99 for a Turkey sandwich and small fry. Was really hoping it would still be as good/pleasant as it was for all the years prior. But sadly it wasn’t.

If I could rate this store a 0 I would! This place has gone straight down the toilet since changing hands. The owners and their family are some of the most rude people I have ever encountered. There may be 2 or 3 staff members that are positive and polite. Otherwise they're rude and unsanitary. I personally have witnessed them not using gloves to prepare food. They have been known to stand around on their cell phones and ignore customers walking in. Then other customers have said it on social media and they were ridiculed and called liars.In fact, these people make it their life's mission to eliminate any little review that doesn't paint them in a perfect light. They are terrified of criticism and never take responsibility. The owners' daughter has made it her full time job to police the reviews of the store. She attacks people on social media and has negative reviews removed when possible.They don't actually make their food from scratch. Most times it is pre cooked or frozen. The food comes out salty or way too sweet because of the addition of ingredients to already prepared food. Their food is usually fatty and greasy, and just plain tasteless. They are EXTREMELY overpriced. If you take a scroll through photos of their food, you will see that it is sloppy and just thrown together most of the time. No one that works there actually cares about presentation.What's worse is that while they initially seem like nice people, they turn out to be the complete opposite. The owner talks badly about staff members to other staff behind their backs. She cuts hours and then shoves people into the cleaning company she owns to work there, when she doesn't feel they are right for the store. She breaks the law and illegally deducts personal loans from employee checks. They have also been known to call the police on employees for informing others of what is going on.Terrible atmosphere and toxic people. I would never give them a dime of my money!

Since changing ownership this place has gone downhill. Called to make an order and the person running the phone was very rude. Made it seem as though me calling was an inconvenience to their business. Long story short the buffalo chicken cheese steak was by far the worst I have ever had in my life. I have never written a review for food before in my life until now so CONGRATULATIONS 🍾 🎊.

Checked out the store quickly for the first time since new owners. Food was great, store was stocked with great stuff. Glad to see awesome local people take over such an iconic Delaware spot! George picked the right family!

Staff is very rude. Messes up orders. The one person that was a good employee was fired because of personal reason had nothing to do with his job. The owner is rude and her child is rude and deletes criticism and comments about the bad business and work ethic so people don't know. They message rude stuff then block you on fb so you can't respond. Not worth eating there go somewhere else.

My hubby and i got cheesesteaks. They had a lot of meat but they were soooo greasy we couldnt eat them. Kinda grossed us out. We will try cold subs next time, hoping they are better.

Do not shop at this place! The people who run this place stole over $400 from a friend of mine that used to work here off of his paycheck.. and are very dishonest and can't run a business. They are lucky they weren't sued for what they did.

The store and restrooms are very clean. My husband ordered a hamburger sub and I ordered the mushroom cheese steak. We were very disappointed the meat had no seasoning and only one slice of cheese. It's a shame since we drove 500 miles because we cannot get a decent sub in georgia

Ordered two cheesesteaks and the clam strips meal. Cheesesteaks were fine, but let’s talk about the clam strip meal. Have ordered it previously and it was good with plenty of clams. Today, very few clams and they were burnt. I mean black. My girlfriend called and they just made excuses for the reduced amount of clam strips and the fact that they were burnt. They said an order of clams is 8oz. Not true, as we have a food scale. 3.7 ounces, or less than half of what they claim, and since they were fried in oil, the weight would not have reduced. There seemed to be a lot of horsing around going on in there. Maybe somebody needs to be serious about the business and not just serve food to paying customers that they wouldn’t eat, and then lie about how it’s prepared. Quality and service are slipping here, I’d recommend finding one of many alternatives if you’re hungry.

Great place to get high quality fishing gear. Hard to find colors and patterns along with custom made baits. They have live bait as well. They also have a deli where you can get great subs and sandwiches for a day out on the water. The quality of there lures far exceeds Walmart and even Cabela's and Bass pro. You can't go wrong there. Prices reflect you get what you pay for.

I’m from outta state an I’m down here taking care of my cousin an I come here an spend money because there food is so good so I try to come every morning for a breakfast 🍳 if not dinner 🍽 they are very friendly but there’s this one lady in there that some one needs to address her attitude cause if she signed up to work there we should feel the love not attitude cause I will find somewhere else to take my business...... thanks to the owner son he’s the reason I still come 🙃🙃🙃

Everything from breakfast sandwiches, subs, and drinks on the store side to fishing rods, tackle supplies and even HO and N scale model train stuff on the other side of the store. Very friendly employees and great subs.
