The creamery is part of a farm and it was nice to see farm animals and children interacting with them. The staff was kind, friendly, and everything one could hope for from college age employees.The ice cream was just okay. Their milkshake maker was definitely in the weeds and while I don't mind waiting, the shake itself just wasn't good. Too thin, not enough flavor. I got ice cream to take home and it was also just okay. For a local creamery I was surprised at the number of stabilizers and texture enhancers in the ingredients list. The flavor was fine but the texture of the ice cream was a bit gummy and felt cheap (especially given that it's expensive ice cream).Wheelchair accessibility: The parking lot is gravel and I didn't see a solid path for wheelchair access

Very cute cabin with lots of bench seating outside, cash preferred.We got chocolate thunder which was extremely chocolatey and peach - half scoop of each on a waffle bowl. The two ice cream flavors actually balanced each other out very very well. Chocolate thunder was super rich while peach was rich but also refreshing.Generally I think the ice cream from Woodside farm is much richer and creamier than any other ice cream shops I’ve had. Would definitely be down to come back again to try more flavors!

Wonderful freshly made ice cream. Lots of great flavors, I got butter brickle (sweet cream ice cream with toffee pieces) and chocolate thunder (chocolate ice cream that is 3x the chocolate malt flavor) on a waffle cone. The flavors were fun and the cone was crisp. Will come again when I’m in the area! P.S. not the best photo as I was about 1/4 finished, but that’s the size when I asked for 2 flavors! Price is based on oz rather than scoop.

great service, great unique ice cream. Great selection of flavors. if you have a problem with choosing, you can draw on a special wheel for drawing flavors....but bacon ice cream rules!More fresh ice cream cannot be bought in the neighborhood.Important ! in the area in front of the ice cream shop, I give the owners this idea: please install an ingenious, funny sink to rinse your hands after eating a delicious meal.

It's just absolutely delicious and creamy and tasty! I am not a fan of ice cream personally but this place has my heart.If you love chocolate you can go for chocolate thunder. We recently tried there blackberry flavour , it was delicious too.There has beautiful seating space just outside the ice cream shop where you can enjoy the icecream with view and enough parking.It is dog friendly as well.This place is a must try if you are an icecream lover and are somewhere near Newark, Delaware.

stopped here this afternoon, the fiancé and i have been meaning to come here. i’ve seen the photos others have posted of the farm, but wasn’t expecting the amazing view.the staff was nice and the ice cream was good. i’ve taken off one star because typically when i have cookies and cream milkshakes there are remaining cookies at the bottom. the three scoops of ice cream my fiancé had peanut butter & jelly, triple chocolate and cake batter were amazing.

Delicious ice cream! Great service! Love the seating area for the kids to run around . I will also say their porta potty on site is the cleanest and nicest smelling porta potty I've ever been in. There's even a sink with running water for washing hands.

This place is off the beaten path away from the hustle and bustle of life and their ice cream is the best around!! Always a ton of flavors to choose from and all made fresh on the farm!! It has a nice outdoor seating area where the kids can run around as well. Best part is get it as big or small as you want too as ice cream is sold by the ounce!! We had 2 waffle cones with 2 scoops each and it was less than $7. Make the trip and have a fantastic frozen treat!!

This is a beautiful country side dairy that gives you fresh ice cream. I go there regular as i have school. The shooting arrangements are good under the big tree. There are lots and lots of ice cream flavors to try upon. It has a country side feeling with the regulars playing music in the afternoon. Good place to spend an hour or so during summer.

What's good : The best ice cream parlor in whole of Delaware. Awesome friendly staff and no wonder the place is equally crowded, people even queue up with umbrellas in rain to get their share of ice cream. Never seen that anywhere else. Best flavors cappuccino crunch, cotton candy, raspberry n mango sorbets. I would rate the freshness and flavor above Hagen das or Ben n Jerry's.What's not : They accept on cash or check but there is a ATM inside, place is very small and you might have to wait in queue outside sometimes. But you will forget all that once u let the fresh ice cream melt in ur mouth.

I was told by a friend to try out this creamery. I was very disappointed after reading the ingredients on more than a few different flavors. I attached pictures of all natural Turkey Hill vanilla vs their vanilla. I expect a local creamery to have more simple natural ingredients. The strawberry had Red # 40 and really didn’t taste much like strawberry. I’d say the ice cream tasted more like freeze dried ice cream (which I really didn’t mind). I’ll stick with the store bought natural ice cream for less than half the price.

Although this place is a little out of the way for us, we love the ice cream here. Their vanilla ice cream is hands down the best I've ever had. It's so good that I always pass up other yummy flavors to get it and is completely worth the trip.

Woodside's chocolate thunder is the creamiest deep rich chocolate ice cream that you'll ever have. Once I tried this, it has ruined all other chocolate ice creams for me. Hands down best chocolate ice cream ever. Four stars only because it's soooo pricey. But this place is a must visit if you like ice cream, especially chocolate.

The day was nice bright and sunny, dare I say that the wind had picked up during the morning hours and had a hint of cool to it causing my wife to choose sitting in the baking sun rather than the shade of the trees of which there were probably a couple around the seating area/green space they had outside the creamery. The brownie was a bit tough/hard even after being smothered by the dollops of vanilla melting onto it like it was competing with us to consume the brownie. But it was a great experience and the service was A+ as well. The only let downs were the cows ... The absence of them might I add, since they did not feel the need to grace us and the other patrons with their presence... Which caused some anxiety with the children, and led us to make some unwanted additions to our day to fill the void :)

I had a scoop of the Motor Oil (Coffee ice cream with carmel and fudge throughout) & Butter Brickle in a waffle cone bowl. The ice cream was smooth and creamy. I'd eaten it all before I remembered that I'd not taken a pic! Well worth the drive.

Wonderful place for delicious ice cream. The butter brickle and capaccino crunch were delicious. We also discovered that they sell their pints of ice cream at The Meat House in Chadds Ford on Rte 202. We tried the turtle flavor and black cherry. They were also delicious.

Never disappointed. My favorite flavors to get are only available in the fall but its always worth the wait. Caramel apple, pumpkin and a little bit of snicker doodle on top 😋
