I love this market. It's a great local grocer with most everything you'd need. The bonus is they sell good healthy products. The staff are always nice. And you get discount for bringing own bag.

There's a certain scent when you walk into a natural foods market that just makes you feel better. As soon as you walk through the doors of this establishment it seems like you're already healthier. While they don't have a massive selection of everything like the big box stores do, they have a little bit of everything. All of that little bit is organic and even local. It's a joy to be able to select from cheeses that are from the area rather than mass produced a thousand miles away. This is the case with everything there. Yes, items are a little more expensive here, but the health benefits and sustainability are worth it.

I go to harvest market to grab lunch when I am at my office in Hockessin. The food is amazing, I have many favorites from the curry chicken salad on greens to tarragon chicken salad and my favorite cave girl delights, I'm always happy and satisfied. Each time I'm there I end up buying something else, whether body care products, supplements the store has much to offer. As a side note the staff is especially friendly at the market..Worth the trip

I love Harvest and feel very lucky that it's under ten minutes from our house. We used to do most of our shopping at Whole Foods, but now we do most of our shopping here, and for many items, it's actually less expensive. The people are friendly and helpful, and I love supporting a local business so regularly. I wish the produce section were larger, but that isn't their fault...they only have so much space to work with. They've been there over 25 years now and it's easy to see why.

Absolutely love ALL the prepared foods! Especially considering the majority of it is gluten-free. Much of it also dairy free. Great for me because my diet has been limited ever since contracting lyme disease. Their muffins and desserts are absolutely amazing, and you would never guess that they were gluten free if you weren't told ahead of time. Shopping here can sometimes be a bit taxing on the wallet, but they do truly care about ingredients and the details of the products they are selling. So the prices reflect that. Great store!

Love this place! It is the one place in Delaware where I can get Sourdough Spelt bread. I can also get many specialty diet items that aren't available anywhere else. The food items they prepare there are delicious, especially the chia pudding.

Natural foods stores have always been places I want to shop at more, but it can be difficult when on a budget. I've also just always found them intimidating (which is honestly really silly to think). I decided to stop by Harvest Market today though, and I'm so glad I did. The staff was soooo friendly, they had great sanitation protocols, and they had a solid selection of foods. I've been trying to move toward healthier, organic, and local foods, and there is a great selection for those needs. Prices can still seem slightly high compared to your typical supermarket, but I've come to accept that it's a small trade off for better foods. And honestly, they weren't really that bad in terms of what I was shopping for.Also as a note, I hope more folks who are using SNAP (such as myself temporarily) come and shop here. Natural food stores like Harvest Market deserve so much recognition for the service they provide, especially during these tough times, and I'll continue shopping here while I'm still in the area. I'll also be telling my local friends to check out the store as well- seriously folks, you should visit!

The the foods are fresh there and there's a large variety of items that they have in the store. I love this salad they have different ones are the stores nice and clean. Also,the workers are very polite!!!

Very nice store. Good food and friendly, helpful staff. However, wow, most of the prices are sky high.They have an excellent ready-to-eat menu, but the quality control and supply is uneven. The Waldorf. chicken salad, for example, sometimes has lots of celery, walnuts, and apple. Other times you're lucky to find a sliver of any of them.And they're closed on Sundays.Also, as I understand it, the owner is a supporter of Right Wing politicians, which may explain some of the negatives mentioned above. And which is another reason I don't shop there as often as I otherwise would.

I’ve been grocery shopping @ Harvest Market, for past couple years. Normally I’m in there 1-3 times a week. They have plenty of helpful, friendly staff. They have an “across the board” selection of items, that makes it easy for me. Everything is always fresh!The staff have helped me numerous times w/questions & ordering hard to find items or supplements I need. They’re very knowledgeable and I just like buying from a smaller, neighborhood B & M buisiness. 👍Just hope we can all get past this virus & get back normal 🤗FYI: small shared parking lot

Harvest Market is a treasure The owners, Karen and Bob, are wonderful, as are the gang who work there, including Brody G, Staci B, and everyone else we've met.The market has the most wonderful selection of healthy and enjoyable foods, both fresh fruit and vegetables, prepared refrigerated and frozen food and packaged goods.We lived close by for years and went there every week. We're a little ways away now but when we go back we can see why we love it so much.Do yourself, your family's health and your tummies a favor and go there if you haven't yet. Right on the main highway and so easy to find.Thanks and live it up!

Great place, friendly staff and amazing prepared foods. This place has the most amazing prepared foods- I’ve yet to find something just okay its all been amazing. My mom who eats meat just started getting the prepared foods as well and shared my experience. Everything fresh and delicious.The staff is always asking to help you and they mean it.I’m so glad I stopped in here.

I've driven past Harvest Market many times, but I finally got a chance to shop here this week. I was so happy to find bulk organic spices and the gluten-free flour I was looking for. The Harvest Market has healthy foods that are sometimes hard to find in the standard grocery stores. The pre-made salads and sandwiches are very tasty. The staff are able to answer product questions and guide you to what you are looking for. They stand behind what they sell and accept returns if you are not happy. We noticed the produce to be very fresh. We have some favorites (e.g. Amy's breakfast burritos) and buy them in case quantities to save money. They have expanded their offering of fresh baked goods.

My husband and I walked in and walked out after 5 minutes.Strawberries 10 bucks. Blueberries 7 bucks.Yes, they were organic, but drive 5 miles and you can get the exact same organic brand for 3.50 and 4 dollars respectively.I'm all about great quality, and I'm willing to be a price for it. I happily pay Whole Foods' prices with no complaints. But everything in this store is ridiculously overpriced by 10 miles..

What a pleasant store located in Hockessin, DE. Recognizable brands, variety in each product category and moderate prices. There are plenty of employees who are eager to offer assistance and knowledge. Prepared foods appeared to be fresh and healthy snacks for every craving imaginable. Worth a visit!

It is just an awesome place and it is not extremely expensive like other healthy food stores. The staff us very knowledgeable of the products sold in the store. I have many food restrictions and I always find products to buy. It is my place to go for food and supplements shopping.

Great local alternative to the big grocery stores. A bit pricey, but they have all the essentials and some really interesting stuff too. Great staff and safety measures during COVID have been impeccable.
