I had the best experience shopping here today. Everyone was so nice and helpful. There was plenty of selection and I was thrilled to find boots in stock in the size and height I needed. I also really appreciate their support of the troops by offering a military discount. I don't live in the area and it was a bit off my path for my trip but I won't hesitate to visit again. The store was clean and neatly organized as well!

I bought a Charles Owen helmet online for in store pickup. I was helped by a couple of store associates that were very helpful. I went with a size larger than I originally ordered, then after wearing it for an hour at home I realized that one was also a little small. I called them up and asked if they had the next size up which they did, I swung by and exchanged the helmet. Very seamless, great prices, very knowledgeable staff. As a guy there is always ZERO stuff for us, I was happy to say they had a small but great selection of men’s riding apparel. I will definitely be back! Thank you!!

This place is great! The staff is very friendly and super helpful! Shout out to Matthew for helping my daughter find just the right pair of riding boots and half chaps. They have so much to choose from! Prices are reasonable and in line with online vendors. Location is easy to get to.

Love this place! Process are reasonable for an expensive hobby, and the staff is typically kind and responsive. Occasionally you can find yourself waiting to check out because the associates are helping around the store but take a breath and look around, you probably needed that fly spray or those gloves anyway 😂

We have been customers for years and have found the people at Dover very helpful. With many experiences with this store I can't imagine the person finding the staff rude, they are anything but! Store policies on returns are excellent and they continue to be our go-to tack store.

I placed an order in store on 08-03-2020 for an halter plate 3 weeks went by nothing from the store, while I was shopping for other items I asked if it was in. The employee said it was never ordered. I asked for a refund she stated I couldn't get one because it was engraved. (It wasn't ordered yet as she stated). I spoke to the manager on Monday promised it would be in store by Friday. Its Now September 10 and the plate is still not in.

I like the products, but the service is horrible at this store. I have been going here since this used to be a State Line Tack. Since it became a Dover saddlery it has slowly become worse and worse. I will no longer shop here (thank you internet). The store is always full of boxes and impossible to get through to the merchandise. Prices are high and be cautious of "sale" items there are normally the same price as they normally sell them for. Customer service is very hit or miss. I have had okay service, but normally have none at all. They didn't have something in stock the lady just scuffed at me and walked away. She didn't even try to order it for me or look. Shop online, Dover online and customer service is very good.

Its sad how much this store has gone down hill. The amount of stock in this store is almost nothing now. I visit this store at least once a month and it hasn't gotten any better. The website also seams to never have anything in stock either. Everything is "backordered". Your better of going to a locally owned tack shop that has stock in store or will get it in a reasonable time.

Visited this store while passing through the area. Customer service was terrible. No one greeted us or asked if we needed help finding anything. Employees were more interested in gossiping amongst themselves. The only time we received attention was when an employee's dog kept jumping on my toddler and knocking him over. Checkout was slow and tedious.

I've shopped at this Dover dozens of times since it first opened years ago and never had any issues with service or selection. I read the other review and it looks like this woman was just on a tirade and is looking more for someone to hold her hand and shoot the breeze than help her with her shopping. This is why online reviews are hit or miss. You don't know the circumstances or if the review is getting written by a crazy person. Anywho, it's a good store, and I've never had any issues, and no, I don't go in there in my breeches.

Went here with my girlfriend. Very nice and abundant selection. A bit cramped in some places but I fit just fine. I wouldn't call it wheelchair accessible. I can imagine it would be difficult to maneuver a wheelchair or stroller through the tight aisles.

I have never had the pleasure of going to Dover Saddlery up until now! The staff are friendly, ALL of the clothes, tack, grooming items, etc. are excellent quality!!!! It is a bit pricey, which is why i only gave it four stars, but I guess everything in the horse world is that way. If you want clothes that are a little less expensive, though not as high quality because everything is used, go to Maryland Saddlery, which is literally less than 5 minutes away from Dover. Overall Dover is my favorite place to go to shop for anything horse related!

I went today not a very good experience at all..... never had I had a non happy employee wait on me there until today and it was 2 unhappy unhelpful employees who were working.. I will go again of course but they need better help. And I would have left and bought nothing if i didn't have to ask for the sale book and go through there . Unhelpful and rude.
