If you are new to the area or are just looking for a better Pharmacy, the Rite Aid on Rt 113 in Georgetown is the place to go. If you have special prescription needs, ask to speak to the Pharmacist. They take the time to understand why you left your old Pharmacy and do everything to they can to make it a 10 out 10 visit every time!

Got a message at 1:14 today that my medication was ready. I arrived about 1:20. The person in front of me was called. 1:30 and I'm still waiting and someone came behind me. I start to see them closing the gates and black lady with braids say, we are closing and will be back opened at 2. I thought she was talking about the person behind me. She was talking to both of us. I said I've been waiting for 10 minutes and she sarcastically said, well, we need breaks. I leave and come back at 2:20. I pick up my medication from an older male employee. After, I asked for her name, he had to think briefly and said Ethel. He said she's only here because the original pharmacist was on vacation. I said thank you and left. This isn't the first time I had horrible service from them but it will be the last. I will be taking my business elsewhere. I do NOT recommend this place.

For the past 10 years I have had the pleasure of using Georgetown DE Rite AidI am a veteran and unfortunately the VA will switch vendors and my medication must remain consistent due to hallucinationsI am glad to say that have always remained consistent and are always looking for ways to give me a discountThank you folks for being there!

Anne the pharmacist has always been kind, efficient and very personable. She has an enormous task between filling all the prescriptions and doing all the vaccinations. I'm a retired RN, if Rite Aide sent certain hours for vaccinations and hired part time nurses to do them it would free up the lone pharmacist to just focus on Rx's.

Georgetown De Riteaid is ALWAYS understaffed. Today’s the 3rd time drive thru has been closed do to short staffing this month. Pharmacists & staff are always friendly & helpful to me, but I’m thinking Riteaid doesn’t want my business anymore…? FIX IT !!

If I could give the pharmacy a 0/5 I would. Do not send your prescriptions here. Save yourself ANY form of outrageous issues you’ll have from very rude and I’m personable staff. Over the last 3 days I’ve tried to reach Rite Aid to help me send my prescription to another location. When I FINALLY reached the pharmacist after days of calling, I was on hold for 45 minutes and then the line simply went dead. Don’t go here.

I switched from Walgreens to Rite Aid so that I could get my prescriptions when I needed them. I have been without my medicine now for a week and they keep telling me it will be ready. I NEED my medicine as I’m sure everyone else does. When I call it either rings and no one picks up or they pick the phone up and put it on hold without saying anything!! This is torture. I spoke directly to the pharmacist and was promised they would be ready. Do I need to find another pharmacy who will care about their patients??

Going down hill FAST! The blonde lady pharmacist is always miserable, rude, and snotty. Either they are staffed with a bunch of workers who don't know how to run a pharmacy, or the system doesn't work efficiently. They don't even start on a prescription unless I go in person and ask if it's ready. Then they'll say ohh no not yet, you'll get a text or call when it's ready. Then you never get that call and have to continually follow up until it's finally ready. I've been a customer for years and while all of this has been true, it's getting worse very quickly. The male pharmacist is great. I always hope I get him. While the time issues are still present, at least he doesn't have a bad attitude about it. Thank you! Desperately looking for a pharmacy where I don't have to stress out every month of basic meds!

Came to pick up post surgery prescription, directly from hospital, had patient in car. Went through drive through, staff person took my card and charged me, gave me medications. Pulled over in parking lot to administer meds to patient and realized I was short medications. Pulled through again and asked where rest of medication is, same person then said I had to come in and pick up medication to sign papers. Didnt tell me when I was in line at the window the first time, very inconsiderate and unprofessional.

Horrible experience. My script was called in and I went to pick it up a few days later. I was told that there is no script for my date of birth. I asked if there was another way that I could be looked up. Suddenly, it's oh there WAS a script for you, but it got deleted. Why? Oh that's a question for the pharmacist. Ok... Oh I'll go ask him. I mean, don't hurt yourself. Oh he deleted it because we didn't have your insurance info. What??? So, what if I wanted to pay out of pocket? I have insurance and gave her my card, but seriously what if I had wanted to pay out of pocket? I tried a discount card. Wouldn't work. No problem. I'll bring another one. Several hours later, I go to pick up my script and it isn't ready because I hadn't brought the discount card back. Did you think I was going to make 2 trips? One to bring the card and the other to get my script. My time is important to me. The pharmacist tried to speak over me when I was expressing what happened only to find out that he knew. Y'all could not have told me that you needed the card first? What??? Apparently, the patients time is unimportant to these people. Don't bother. I'll drive the 20 minutes to CVS in Milford and be well cared for.

While one can be patient due to lower staffing, after 2.5 hours of having 3 scripts which they had on hand, my patience ran out especially after I called and they were working on it and said ready in 10 but when my poor wife went to pick it up because i had not slept for 3 days from cough they were rude and excused their behavior because short staffed. Not cool. Think Walgreens may do nicely for all my scripts in future. 👍ps. If I wanted excuses I'd ask my 17yo what happened.

I will be conducting my business else where. The pharmacy tech who was working the register was extremely rude and overall a miserable person. Her name was Bridget and she was an older female with blonde hair. She couldn’t even take the time to greet customers or even look at them. She then proceeded to mock and fellow pharmacists that worked there, calling him inappropriate names and mocking his accent. It’s sad that this is who Rite-aid chooses to be the face of their company.

They should get a zero. I had to many bad experiences that I will never finish but I think the worsen are that they did not even know how to bill my insurances. They keep doing the billing wrong and I finish paying for medications that I should not have any copayment but they bill the secondary insurance First and I can't recall how many time I told them how to do it. They even was saying my insurances denied cover on some medications but the insurance keep saying they keep sending the bill wrong and I have to explain to them the proper way to bill the insurance.

Don't ever try to fill an important prescription here. I've been trying for a month and every time I go to the store it's "not ready yet" and they tell me to come back in a few hours. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Do NOT use this pharmacy if you need regular medication without interruption.

I’ve been working with this Rite Aid for over four years and they have been very helpful. I have some medical conditions that require me not miss any doses and they have helped me when there was any issues with these medicationsA year ago, I got Covid pneumonia in both lungs. They were very prompt with all of my deliveries and were very kind to me whenever they spoke to me.

Training new employees in the pharmacy……. First thing they should be taught is good customer service. Secondly they are rude. I was put on hold for 10 minutes so I hung up and called right back they answered, I said thank God finally and she hung up on me. Called back for the third time I was thankful at the moment that someone different answered until she was not polite either. I deal with rite aid in Selbyville and they are the best people, very polite and caring.

This place has some of the worst customer service i have ever seen! I booked an appointment to get my COVID shot 3 days prior only to be directly insulted and questioned upon my arrival. For the record, i am a contractor, i live with someone who is immunocompromised and i received my 2nd dose almost 7 months ago. The pharmacist who i didn't get to know her name because she constantly covered up her name tag, refused to give me the shot i had an appointment for because she couldn't understand that i got my shots in the early spring. To add insult to injury an older gentleman came in after me, got the same shot i went i for and left 15 minutes prior to me demanding my card back and storming out the door. I think i will take her advice and "Just Go To CVS", because i am no longer going to do business with Rite Aid.

Freaking ridiculous! They refuse to answer the phone today. I called Millsboro to see if they could get through.I moved my prescriptions here from Walgreens because they became horrible.Don’t come here if you have other choices.Next day:Oh look…they responded with their typical garbage canned response they give everyone.Talked to corporate this pm…they seemed to care. Lol!

Had a Scheduled vaccine here. They were kinda late for my appt but it was understandable seeing how busy they were. This store is always super clean and organized. Staff is good.

Went for a prescription multiple times that should have been filled. (Very generic common drugs) . Was told they are behind on things and had very rude service. I’m switching pharmacies, and hopefully my experience is better.

I t sholdn t take 3 days to fill a prescription sent in from a Dr. office. After raising cain on the phone they filled it in an hour. But as I sat in line, on oxygen , having an asthma attack; the girl had to take time in the middle of running my card had to stop and answer her text messages. These people won t be doing in more work for me

Girlfriend went for covid test took test which took 15 minutes just to hand her the test after she gave them her name. After waiting 5 days and getting no results she contacted project baseline and got a reply that she had missed the test. When she called the pharmacy their reply was we don't have contact information for testing. Didn't even attempt to confirm they had sent the test out for evaluation. She's now forced too seek a new testing location and probably face days away appointment opportunity. RIDICULOUS.

Very disappointed with the Rite Aid Pharmacy. Several times I have pre-ordered prescriptions and actually wait a day to pick them up…and they’re still not filled and ready to be picked up. I am looking into other pharmacy options.

Had to wait 45 mins in car for them to fill prescription for pain meds after abdominal surgery. A prescription that was called in hours before I tried to pick it up. I don't recall them ever having a prescription ready, no matter how long you wait to pick it up.They are the worst. Greenhill in Milford will hand deliver prescriptions for you.

been using the pharmacy for 6 months--its the worst customer service i have ever had--you call them and they never answer the phone at all--so i keep calling and usually after 15 times they finally pick the phone-they are never nice--they need to be trained in how to treat a customer--so i moved all my prescriptions back to walmart--dont ever use this pharmacy--not ever

If I could leave a zero star I would leave a zero star I called back to rite aid to talk to somebody about how rude the pharmacist was and she's the one who answered the phone and tells me that she wasn't rude that my wife was the one being loud about the flu and that I can take my business elsewhere if I want it's my choice so now I understand how they do not care how they do business so I will take my business somewhere else I don't like to do that I've been dealing with them for 45 years but that's what I will do

They never have your medicine on timely matter!!!! When you call they never answer and when you go there they are VERY DISRESTFUL!!!!!! Changing to another drug store after dealing with this people for over two years so sad
