I’m out of state and someone told me to try this place and they didn’t disappoint! The server at the bar Ashley was phenomenal she brought over the 2 desserts i wanted to try and they were delicious! I will definitely be back this will be a stop to go when we head to the beaches the next time ! I wish I lived closer lol thanks for everything!

Absolutely PHENOMENAL!! Our pastor always talks about the pizza from this restaurant as some of the best pizza around! My husband and I were in the area and decided we must finally try it. The atmosphere was very clean and and trendy, the staff was super friendly, the owner was so wonderful to talk to. Our whole family loved the pizza we brought home. We absolutely will be back!!

Clean place with very friendly staff, but the service was really slow. Took 45 minutes from when we sat down to when we were served drinks and we were there for around 2-2.5 hours all said and done just to eat a meal, no apps or desserts. The food was good. The beer selection is awful with only one or two craft taps and they do not allow BYO. Overall it was a decent experience but not one I'd wish to repeat.

Some restaurant's just make pizza, Frederica’s Margarita pizza is a work of art - every part of the pizza has something to say with flavor; starting with the crust of perfection, then the sauce a harmonious marriage of garlic & tomato, with just the right amount of Mozzarella (a blend perhaps?) and finally the balance of flavor is brought together with just the right amount of shredded basil to complete the symphony of pizza joy.

Great Family owned restaurant. Home made dessert, but they run out quickly. They have a bar so beer & pizza !! VERY VERY busy so get takeout or go early ... closed on Sundays .. Worth the try.Parking: Parking to side & back

Good selection of Italian foods and service was very good; the server was friendly and very sociable. Prices are a little high, but the portions are big. The setting is nice, but keep in mind it was very crowded. The desserts are very good and freshly made, and the sizes are huge. Real Italian ownership, and everyone is nice. This place can getting busy, between take out and dining in on weekends...so be prepared.

If you are driving from Pennsylvania to North Carolina and want to take the Chesapeake Bay Bridge to enjoy the country scene, this hidden gem is a great restaurant to enjoy some Italian food. I don’t drink soda very often, because most restaurants have yucky flat sugary drink which they call soda. Not here. It was the diet coke I’ve had for a long time. I built my own pasta with spicy arrabbiata sauce and meatballs. Meatballs were very juicy and delicious. Entrees come with your choice of soup or salad and garlic knots. Garlic knots were a bit too garlicy for my taste but it is personal choice. The arrabbiata sauce was also delicious. I wish the pasta was drained well. There was a bit too much pasta water in my bowl and it was diluting the sauce. These two were the reasons I gave four stars. My husband enjoyed his meatball sub, though. Overall, we enjoyed our food. Our server was friendly and attentive.

My family and I went to this place for dinner after seeing it by the house we were staying at on vacation. We were compelled by the mixed and interesting reviews left on google and decided to give it a try. To say it short, this place was amazing. The service and food were great and filling, we had lots to take home for a family of 4.To start, the lady at the front who checked us in was sweet and made fun small talk while we waited to be seated. We didn’t wait for long, because soon after we got in (it was somewhat busy) we were seated by a nice woman, Renee. She took our drink orders and was extremely nice and funny. Our drinks came quickly and we ordered with no problems.Our appetizer plate was delicious and gave a taste of multiple different options for an appetizer that all tasted amazing. The main courses were nothing less than perfect. The pizza (half cheese half chicken bacon ranch) was cooked to perfection and the crust was fluffy. The carbonara, lasagna, and bolognese pastas were flavorful and I’m sad to say we had a lot to take home. We had plenty of garlic knots that had lots of garlic on them and were tasty.The cheesecake was a classic New York style and just what you would expect. It was not very crowded for a Friday night and the portion sizes were huge. The cost for all the food we got was also good, we ordered many big courses and got a great price for it. My family is very happy with this and I highly, highly recommend Fredrica’s Pizza and Pasta House if you are in the area and need somewhere for lunch or dinner.

I came into town to work for the evening. Only staying one night. The hotel I'm staying at is a few blocks away so I decided to try this place out. This is great little gem of a spot. The wings were good and I also had a side of meatballs which were also tasty. It has a very nice small town and hometown vibe and as an outsider I felt welcomed by other guests and the staff. Great atmosphere here. Ashley who took care of me, was very friendly and attentive. She and the other staff members had geat personalies and talked to guests. You can see how much they like each other too.Great prices as well. I would recommend this place if you are ever in the area. I'll definitely stop by again when I come through next year.

Ordered a large Sicilian pie with EXTRA cheese and paid for extra cheese. However I don’t even think it is adequate for even regular cheese. I called to ask them if they somehow made a mistake and they said no, it was extra cheese and that next time they’ll give me an extra cheese at no charge. That doesn’t help me and my family enjoy our pizza now. Very disappointed!

We were driving through and stopped in for a quick lunch. I'll start with the good. I had the pizza lunch special, two slices and a fountain drink for $8. Classic "must be folded to eat" style. I added some toppings for a few bucks, and the whole thing came out well. I'd easily pay to eat this 'za again.Now, for the not so great. Since we were on a road trip, after ordering, I immediately went to the restroom. No soap in the men's room. I walked up to the first employee behind the counter and let her know the men's room had no soap. She acted concerned, so I figured she'd take care of it. Went back to the table and eyed the bathroom, figuring someone would refill the soap shortly. I waited a few minutes. Finally I just bummed some hand sanitizer from the wife, who had some in her purse.At the end of the meal, I used the restroom again and there was still no soap. Decent (not great) food for the price. Would I stop by again? Not if this is how they treat hygiene in their eatery. Who knows if they're washing their hands back there.

I have been down to the beaches in Delaware and Maryland for years. On the way (and on the way home) I would always see signs for Frederica Pizza and Pasta House, but it was always too early in the morning to stop. The other day, our plans changed and we left the beach later than usual. Everyone in the car was hungry and I thought, this would be the perfect time to stop in and boy was I glad we did!! (This would be a 4 1/2 star rating if half star ratings were available.)The restaurant is very clean and open. The high ceilings make the space feel larger than it is, but by no means is it small. Ceiling fans help circulate the air making it a very comfortable environment. We sat at a booth which had plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 kids. One slight knock, the seating portion of the booth had a vinyl material that stuck to the back of your legs when you got up. There are non booth tables and a bar area you can eat at and/or enjoy a cold beverage. There is a TV at the bar area and additional TVs are located around the seating areas. Now, the food!!There were so many items we wanted to order, but had to restrain ourselves. We settled on mozzarella sticks and an Arancini ball as an appetizer. The sticks were fine, but can't say they were much different than any other I have had before. The major difference is the marinara dipping sauce. Most places the dipping sauce is really dark red and pasty. This sauce is light and is a vibrant red. The Arancini ball was a golden brown fried piece of perfection. A little bit of ground beef, peas, and Romano cheese rounded out the creamy rice deliciousness. This came with same delicious dipping sauce as the mozzarella sticks. For dinner, everything we ordered was fantastic. The stuffed shells and lasagna hit the spot. Creamy Ricotta cheese, flavorful ground beef (in the lasagna), both topped off with melted mozzarella cheese...how can you go wrong?? The best part of the lasagna was there is a small amount of ground beef. Most places it's layer upon layer of ground beef. Here, it's a small amount, but enough to let you know it's there. The chicken parmesan was a large plate of food. Personally, I like my chicken parm to be thin. Their chicken parm is pretty thick. It was still very good, but I prefer the cutlet to be thinner. Each of the 3 courses I mentioned (stuffed shells, lasagna, and chicken parm) came with soup or salad and choice of italian bread or garlic knots. I had the Maryland crab soup, which was very tasty. The garden salad was fresh and crispy. The bread warm and fresh as were the garlic knots. The last item that was ordered was a personal pizza.The pizza was absolutely perfect. A thin pizza with a nice chew and crispy crust. Fresh sauce and mozzarella topped off the pie. This would be hands down my go to pizza place, if we lived a little closer. We did not stay for dessert because we were exhausted and wanted to get home. Service was friendly and timely. I can tell you that we will definitely be back when we are in the area again.

I've always loved going here up until the past 6 months. I'm disappointed in the cut back on food portions. Last night, my date and I ordered calamari to split. When it arrived, there were about 7 rings of calamari, and a little tiny portion of marinara. Our salads consisted of very little lettuce, 4 crutonsone slice of cucumber and two rings of an onion. When my spaghetti and meat sauce arrived, there wasn't even enough sauce to cover my spaghetti. Very disappointed.

Garbage food....don't waste your time. I went between lunch and dinner service when they weren't busy. Paid $80 with tip for old dried out, skimpy food. Asked for extra cheese on the pizza and it was a joke....the crust tasted like cardboard....a dried out mess worthy for the trash.And as for the pasta Alfredo entree, I asked for extra sauce but these so called cooks skimped on everything.And this isn't the first or second or 3rd time it's happened....just keep giving them chances but no more.

This place has changed for worst! today is the last time I order anything from there. Every time I order the portions get smaller. Today I ordered a pizza half playing the other half with pepperoni and sausage. I took a picture of the sausage just pepperoni and a tiny piece’s is sausage. pizza is truly a small size pie not medium ! The owner told me that he would take care of me first he said take a 2 Liter bottle soda, then he took it back and said the next time I come in, he will take care of me. He should’ve taken care of me while I was there! Don’t recommend spend you money elsewhere!

We were seated quickly. I enjoyed my chicken turnover and cheesecake. The servers were kind and the food came fairly fast. The mozzarella sticks were not fresh and one of them were hollow. The burger chips were stale and my boyfriend said the burger tasted frozen. I would stick to the pizza products.

The server, Tiffany, is an absolute gem of a person and an excellent waitress/server. The food was also scrumptious. I only got the eggplant Parmesan sub, but the small is enough for two small meals(or one if you're REALLY hungry).Also, their kettle chips are made in-house and are SCRUMPTIOUS!If I lived anywhere near here, I could see this becoming a regular haunt. Sadly, I'm seldom in the area. 😭Vegetarian options: I had the eggplant parmigian sub- it was vegetarian friendly.

Interesting Pizza and pasta restaurant near the DE Turf Sportsplex in Frederica DE. Could have spent more time here since it had a fully stocked bar. Plus, a liquor store is attached to same building.
