We made an appointment, picked up our fish, and saw some other ones that were beautiful! They all had great coloring, and a great tank system. He was kind, welcoming, and let us know what fish our tank would not accommodate, and was not trying to make a quick dollar, which you won't find from many sellers... thank you Hans! Had the pleasure of doing business with Discus Hans USA over the weekend. Starting my first discus tank and really wanted to see and pick out my first grouping. I live close to facility so made arrangements ahead of time to visit and see for myself. I was not disappointed in any way. All tanks had healthy vibrant Discus ready to go. My only issue was deciding what to start with. All my questions were answered and received some well appreciated advice on how to proceed. Will be back again soon to complete the stocking of my tank. Other fish available as well. All purchases settling in nicely, been a few days and all is well so far. If you can get there do so if not rest easy if you are ordering by mail.

We met Mr. Hans I didn’t have much time since I work every day, but I promised my kid to take him to go and see the discusAnd I didn’t know the hours of the store so we got there like 20 minutes late but Mr. Hans was so kind, my kid was excited about discus and the owner, Mr. Hans opened the door for us, I definitely recommend his store, he got freshwater fishes

Mr. Hans is by far the best fish breeder I've ever come across. I will try to keep our long story short. We bought Discus from petco, petsmart, and a LFS. All died in days from stress/poor breeding. One of our LFS owners that has great knowledge of Discus said the problem was the breeder, find a reputable dealer. I looked all over the United States and Hans Discus was the highest rated and recommended breeder I could find. I bugged him with all kinds of pesky questions. He is one of the warmest most knowledgeable people I have come across in a long time. He is very nice, goes the extra mile, and we haven't even gotten to the good part. Let me start with I have 5 fresh water tanks and 2 salt water tanks and I know to much about water parameters which is why I couldn't understand what we were doing wrong. Hans recommended getting 10 Discus for our tank and said we could lose 1 or 2 due to fighting/stress/life in general. The breed of Discus he raises are so Hardy we didn't lose 1 and were at about 6 months! His prices were so reasonable I was blown away, his fish are so hardy I could not believe it, and their colors are so vibrant and beautiful!! I cannot recommend Hans enough!!

Garbage fish, the worst customer service and weakest Discus you will find! Buy from anyone but this guy, it’s all hype! Don’t know how he got this reputation for great discus! I have been raising discus for 30 years and never seen anything like it. Maybe I fell through the cracks but I didn’t get the fish or service I’ve heard about.I don’t want a refund or replacement or anything like that, I don’t want any of his fish. You keep the money and I’ll get my fish from somewhere else.Thanks Hans!

I ordered several discus from Hans and they’re doing amazing. All are eating well and swimming happily. I use tap water and do about a 25-30% water change twice a week. No issues at all. These fish are hardy! Would wholeheartedly recommend.

Several weeks ago i got bit by the "ADD ANOTHER TANK " bug. I retrieved a 60 gal tank that i had in my aunts basement. I already knew that i wanted to set up another discus tank, but i couldn't get anything locally because of the "quarantine". I looked for days online and finally decided to contact Hans. He responded. He answered all my questions. i finally asked if it would be possible to order my fish on line and then pick them up. At first he told me that the showroom is closed until further notice. I was heartbroken (I kinda had a feeling it was). But then the BLESSING came. He told me that he would have my order picked and packaged but we would have to adhere to STRICT SOCIAL DISTANCING. I said wonderful!!! I called him the night before pickup, paid for the order (3" 10 Pack), and i was all set! The next day i called Hans i the morning, and told him approximately when I would be there and he said they would be ready. When i got to his place Hans was waiting at the door, Masked and Gloved up with the box on a table with a "DO NOT ENTER" sign on the door. We spoke very briefly and he showed me what he had picked out for me, sealed the box, and i was on my way back home very excited! When i got home i followed his instructions exactly on how to acclimate them. A FEW MINUTES LATER i put them in the tank and they just fell right in like they were truly at home. It's been almost a month now they are so vibrant, active, and coloring up beautifully. Now i truly want more! Hans fish are the most healthiest fish that i have purchased in quite a while. Well worth the money, and the trip. You will be seeing me again Mr. Hans (I have 8 discus tanks).Thanks,Big Nate

Discus Hans is absolutely the best place for discus. My Stendkers have gone through an uncycled tank, survived a jump out of the tank and are now laying eggs! Plus, Hans is extremely helpful and will guide you through all the steps after you get your fish. Cannot recommend him enough!

Absolutely the BEST discus supplier in the country. I waited a couple months to do this review to give my honestly opinion and it couldn't be higher. I have bought from multiple individuals and this is easily the best. Packaging was amazing and the fish were and still are extremely healthy. Absolutely no issues! I am very lucky that I ordered six juveniles at a very reasonable price from Hans. At the same time I am very unlucky that my previous discus purchase was from Discus.com. Most of them didn't match with the order, some are stunted and they charged a lot more than Hans. Out of 24 discus I currently have, these latest 6 from Hans look best, healthiest and most charming. I wish I could order a few more but my tank is too much overstocked. Thanks so much Mr. Hans for the incredible quality.

Ordered 10 2.5 inch Discus from Hans and the experience was great. The fish were well packaged and arrived alive and intact.
