We eat here 3 to 4 times a week. Tonight the employee ( a large man dripping with sweat) came out of the back room and throws his hands up. I asked him if he was alright. His reply was NO I'm not alright. I'm by myself tonight and people keep coming in ordering freaking food. I told him to cancel my order. I would go to a different RoFo and left. This is unacceptable behavior for a convenience store employee. The people that order the freaking food are the reason you have a job!

So I ordered some chicken tenders and western fries. Went to fill a large cup with soda when the deli girl screams at me saying sir sir make sure you oay for your order! What the hell kind of customer service is that? Unless you want to be labeled a thief, don't spend your money here

For a fairly new building this place was a dump when I passed through here last Tuesday (7/5/22). The place needed a serious cleaning from all the people traffic and they were out of things like cups on an soda fountain etc. Garbage cans were full, etc. Staff couldn't have cared less, they were working but weren't very talkative when inquiring.I filled my tank and ended up grabbing a spicy 3 piece chicken tender combo with some potato wedges while there. The tenders were good, and had a little kick in the after taste. The wedges were good as well. So at least the deli was on point.

Nope. Don’t do it. Walked in, happy to get our RF chicken for the road, grabbed drinks (well stocked) and got 1/2 the order, set it down, and 2 baby roaches crawled out. I’ve worked in food. Total red flag there’s infestation. Whole bag of food right in the trash & I can’t afford to do that.

Worst Royal Farms I’ve ever been to. 3:30 PM on a Monday, place is packed, stood in line for over 20 minutes to use cash, while two employees stood behind the counter without checking people out. Then went to fill my car, tried to wash off my windshield, but every single station was bone dry and half of them didn’t have squeegees. Pick the Exxon across the street.

August 25 about 7:30 a.m., I ordered two subs from the deli. My order was 475. I used the restroom, paid my order and waited for a few minutes. I asked for the status of my order. They responded we don’t have a 475 order then started processing another order. Another worker asked me how can they help, I told them my order. I needed to communicate to the worker manually the order. During the order, she said we don’t have that. When I got my subs, the worker didn’t apologize. When I left the store, I spoke with the store manager on the phone because of heading to work. The sub was missing ingredients. The store manager Dave was nice and listened to what I said. I am giving them an extra star because of the manager had great customer service skills.

Good chicken but the service sucked. The guy before us came back in after purchasing and got his money back. Our sandwiches were missing tomato and lettuce. They also pit a lb of mayo on them. Gross

We frequently stop at Royal Farms. However today I just ran in to use the ladies room. It was disgusting. It was filthy. One stall you couldn't lock the door. No soap and air dryer dryer did not work.

Very nice staff but the store and parking area is visibly very dirty. I don't know how they pass any health inspections. Toilets had dirt standing on porcelain behind seat. Floors are littered in the store. Doors are dirty. Cigarette butts on sidewalks. Doesn't look like anyone even sweeps the floor. I bought prepackaged food. Will not stop again in my eastern shore travels.

Nastiest Italian sub I ever had.In addition, no ice cream, regular coffee in any of the four machines, or lettuce.I liked it had an area to sit and eat. Was hoping since it used to be a deli it would have been good. Too many choices to go elsewhere next time.

Wow! My son was greeted with “we ain’t got no sandwiches so don’t even try any of that!” And so it began …place is filthy and crew is just chilling. The young ladies behind the counter were very informative about how they had some hatred for the customers. Oh and the trash … a masterpiece in overflowing. Might want to stop opening more stores and focus on the ones you have open already.

Ordered just fries and jalapeño dip @ 12:45 #544. At 1:12, we were told there was wait on fries, duh. People that ordered after us were getting their fries first. They did not follow # order at all, they were waiting till you approached the counter to complain and then getting you your food. We asked for a refund and a manager. Manager said 7 minutes is the wait.time. Goodbye ROFO. I was obviously the wrong color.. Bad business.

worst royal farms ive been to by far. bathrooms were out of service. Guy preparing the food was very rude and they were out of half the menu items. Even after working around the unavailable items he still got my order wrong and acted mad at his own mistake. never going here again

We go here everyday. One of the last times we went here my husband got coffee, food, and cigarettes for us and people at his work. We were spending well over $100. So we went through the self checkout and we were going to ring up 3 separate orders so everyone could get a receipt. After the second purchase my husband went to do the third order. While he was ringing up a coffee and a breakfast sandwich, a worker ran up and accused him of trying to pay for a 12oz coffee instead of a 16oz. So I thanked him and paid for the 16oz. The employee then, in front of dozens of customers called my husband a thief and a liar. He actually had the audacity to "ban" him from the store. My husband hadn't even finished putting in the order when he was accused. I felt like the employee was discriminating against my husband because he works labor and was in his work clothes. I definitely plan on calling corporate about this manager

How long is this Royal Farm going to be infested with flies? Stopping at the store for fried chicken has been a tradition for our family for years. We stopped on Monday on our way down to OCMD and we were greeted with a swarm of flies. We ignored it and went to order food but there were flies everywhere! All over the bread, the food, and workstation. It was gross. We happen to stop at the same store on our way back home and was greeted with the same disgust. This store needs to be closed down immediately and fumigated. I checked reviews and there are complaints from 4th of July 2018, one year ago, complaining about the flies. Is this too be expected every summer? This is not acceptable. Do something!

Disgusting, Sunday morning and the coffee bar was a mess. The only 1/2 & 1/2 curled in my coffee, spilled creamer in the cooling unit. All this while 4 or 5 employees were yakking behind the chicken counter. I mentioned to the cashier and her response was, "not my area". I'll never do business there again. Bunch of low lifes.

I live in Ellendale. I remember when this store was a nice clean spot to get coffee every morning before work. It has gone down hill so much and just a disgusting place. The coffee station, the bathrooms, just all of it. So disappointing.

This has to be the nastiest convenience store in Delaware. They always have plenty of people working, but the store is disgusting. The men's room has a urinal that has been flooded with urine for about 3 weeks. I'm sure Royal Farm's could have this fixed.

I know the staff here takes pride in their positions. The bathrooms were clean compared to most locations. Staff cleaning the parking lot were also clipping the weeds growing through the cracks. Very good upkeep at this location.

This place is always so nasty. The bathrooms are gross and the floors are dirty. A guy was making the food without gloves. Are you for real right now. I went to order tenders and 1 sandwhich and they messed everything up. Ordered some chicken and it wasnt even cooked thoroughly. Very upsetting when you pay so much money. And the gas pumps receipt machine sis always broken

A good stopping point even if it's just to stretch. Gas prices were inexpensive. There's a car wash and gas price savings for buying one. If you're coming from the beach then you can wash your vehicle of all the salt buildup. Finally there's a small but sufficient selection of made-on-site food items with a small indoor area to eat them. It's nice to sit and eat instead of one-handing it while driving.

This Royal Farm was absolutely gross. We stopped to get gas and go to the bathroom. The place was so dirty and poop onthe floor in the men’s room. I had to use the men’s room as they were cleaning the women’s at 9am😓! At a very busy time ! The windows and floors looked they haven’t been cleaned I. Long time!

I love this ROFO!, huge parking lot for my crew to get their trucks in, the chicken meal i got was so good! I walked in the other day to all the employees smiling at me, it was a good feeling!. The manager is so nice, and full of smiles as always, those guys are the best!

Bathrooms were disgusting and the person at the register/self checkout was very rude (looking at other reviews, I'm not the only one who experienced this). I don't know what their problem was, but they clearly did not want to engage with me when I asked where an item was, even as I was looking them dead in the face.

Always reliable. Gas prices are good and they really do have the best fried chicken. If you need a snack, bathroom, gas break going to or coming from the beaches this place will take care of you
