I’ve been going to this dollar general since they opened first open. Recently I observed the short Caucasian cashier getting smart with another customer. She basically threatened a customer. She was arguing with the customer and told him that would be his “last day walking.” She’s constantly on her phone every time. Some days she speaks and some days she doesn’t. This review is based on my interaction with her. She could definitely use some customer service skills with people of different ethnicities than her own.

This store has a little bit of just about everything, the folks there are friendly, and they do their best to have what I want.Supply issues are a way of life across the country, but if this store has it it's out for me to find. Love this store!They have produce too!!

We were so happy to get the Dollar General in Ellendale, but this store needs some kind of management help or something! When you go in that store there are boxes piled up everywhere, this stock needs to be put away! You can not move up and down the aisles, I'm afraid the stuff is going to fall on someone and hurt them! The place is a mess, the parking area a lot of times looks like the city dump and yes this is from the customers throwing their trash and emptying their ashtrays so put up signs and cameras, because God knows the employees are needed inside the store! Clean this place up corporate!

This Dollar General has become somewhat of the old time General store. They have pretty much everything you could need for modern day living. It is only a short walk from the center of town and is very accessible for parking.

Very close to home, my local Dollar General has everything I need in a pinch. It is my go-to store for medicines, household paper products, food storage bags, toiletries, and snacks. I also love the planter pots and garden deals in the summer.

This store is a lawsuit in there making. They store was very busy, rolling carts empty or full of broken down boxes. Could barely get through the isle. Stuff just thrown on shelfs. I can guarantee a lot of stuff was stolen today. This is the store in Ellendale, I will never go there again, and to think I took my mom there. Plenty of areas for her to become confused, and possibly fall. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

staff are very friendly. they smile and greet you when you walk in the store. they are super busy a lot. the night staff needs three people. hiring a security person would be a plus.

It was a really big store with many interesting customers. They did not have flypaper and that is what I was looking for. I figured dollar general would have it. I was wrong.

There was freight buggies down everywere you could not even get down the aisle to shop this store is a death trap it is crazy of all the carts in the store it look like a mess

Went in to grab a USB cable. Got it. Things went smoothly. There was a receipt involved. Using it right now. 10ft. Android cord for $8. Thanks DG Ellendale, Delaware.

Tried to get cereal that was on sale in ad from 2/10-2/17 on 2/17. Manager said that sale prices change starting Sunday but that's not what the ad said. It was a little frustrating.
