By far the worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with. When they first opened they weren’t bad but now they are god awful. They act like they don’t give a damn about the customers. Don’t even try to call. They will continually hang up on you. Go to Dover Community Pharmacy! In contrast Dover Community pharmacy is always pleasant to deal with and we have never had any issues. Walgreens blames their issues on lack of help. Dover Community Pharmacy has had the same few people working there for years and no issue. I have used Walgreens for years and my wife has used Dover Community Pharmacy. My wife usually handles picking up anything or calling so needless to say I am making the switch. Happy wife happy life?

The hours are great and honestly I do like the store, but I gave it 2 stars because most of the prices for health and beauty items are seriously over inflated/ over priced. I grabbed some saline eye drops and got to the counter and it rang up as 27.99 ( for a tiny bottle! ) Crazy. So I went 2 minutes down the road to Food Lion and saw the same exact bottle of drops for 13-14 dollars... I don't understand how a pharmacy / health driven store charges so much more for health products than a local grocery store. Doesn't make sense. So be careful and shop around..

This is a review based on the pharmacy alone. It's pretty grim how long you have to wait for various things. And if you call in to ask a question, forget about anybody answering. It's very painful.

Worst pharmacy ever!! I would give them a zero if I could. They literally take a whole hour to fill your prescription and the lines are always backed up. I stood in line for a whole hour and my prescription still wasn't ready after having it called in from the doctors office literally 3 almost 4 hours ahead of standing in the line for all that time! Terrible

I'm trying to pick up RX at 9:30pm. Not many work in the pharmacy that closes at 10pm. Waited approx 10 minutes.I already miss the State Street location.

My my my how this store has changed. I understand the turn around rate but wow. I witness a young man in the pharmacy sit and get smart with a elderly women. Smh the nerve. The store was a wreck.

Local, very clean, more product than others, pharmacy with late hours, photo lab and convenient for all basic needs in a hurry.SANDY is the SUNSHINE on any given day! It takes way to long in the drive thru an I have been pn hold for almost 1hr I hung up an called back an been on hold again for 25 mins they never try an run the medication back through the insurance so u have to wait even longer for them to do that I dropped my prescription off Friday an still had not been filled my Dr called today an told them the insurance approved my medication an it's still waiting on approval an im Again n hold now for 30 mins after I hung up an called back after being on hold 45mins

I am a long-time loyal customer of Walgreens/Happy Harry's Pharmacy for their professional expertise, customer-friendly service, efficient management, low-wait time, and a commitment to my health and satisfaction. Over the past months customer-care at this Pharmacy has almost vanished, including the fact that the 24/7 Pharmacy is gone. Today, I arrived to pick up a medication that was ordered 2 days ago. After waiting in line (inside) for 20 minutes, I was told that I would need to wait 40 minutes for the item to be filled. Really? I had already been there 3x in the past 48 hours to retrieve the medication but was too sick to wait in the long outside and inside lines. Good bye and Good Luck Walgreens Pharmacy.

My neighborhood pharmacy. Since the pandemic service has gotten slow due to understaffed shifts but Amy makes it all worth it! Her smile and contagious personality makes you forget that you waited forever.Shes knowledgeable and her attention to detail and problem solving skills are impeccable 👌 Thanks for all you do Amy! 💛🌻

Wait time….forever!! Pharmacy staff seems clueless. Flu vaccine/ Co-Vid vaccine for family member took 45 + minutes at this location. I was done in under 15 minutes at Dover Community Pharmacy. The wait was also better at the State Street location. It’s like why bother with appointment times. We only came here because they had the date we needed, now I know why. Never using this pharmacy again.

Seems like Walgreens has neglected to uphold their slogan of "Be Well". I was hung up on today after a 20 minute hold. Yes, I am aware that the state is short-staffed but that is no excuse. Corporations get your act together please. And a Thank you to all the hard working staff.

Customer service is ok. But the pharmacy needs approvement big time. First the drive thru window is so dirty you can't see the employee. I don't understand why they don't have more people working, it's always 30 to 60 min wait or more. I think you all can do better, thinking of changing to rite aid or CVS.

I placed my order for curbside pickup. The price points are great, additional savings are applied, the first Tuesday of every month. I arrived, I had the option to use the Walgreens App or respond to the email. I received my order within 5 minutes after I arrived.

Be prepared for your prescription to only be filled after calling and sitting on hold for 2hrs. I waited for my prescription to be filled for over a day and a half until calling then boom filled in 30mins. This place has really went downhill and its not due to the personnel i dont think but more they have closed pharmacys due to lack of help now combined 3 pharmacys worth of patients serviced by only one....

The pharmacy is terrible. Long lines at the Drive thru and inside counter help is terribly slow. 3 or 4 counters available with only 2 open.The rest of the store is a 5 but the pharmacy needs serious revamping. 7 minutes a customer is quite a wait. McDonald's is faster. Sorry about the review,I usually give goid reviews but not for this place. It's an on going problem. I get my mother's prescription here. I myself do Rite aid. Much fasterThanks for letting me share.

The whole store is understaffed. We have a prescription there to be picked up. When we came to the store, the line at the drive up was 7 cars deep. We went inside and the line at the pharmacy window was 12 deep. We left, and noticed that the line at the front register was 15 deep.Called to have the prescription transferred elsewhere. After being on hold for 15 minutes, I was told that the other pharmacy would have to call. The other pharmacy refuses to call because IT TAKES TOO LONG TO GET THROUGH.What a total mess this store is

This is by far the worst run Walgreens I have ever experienced! There is no accountability, only excuses. They lost my pain medicine prescription after my surgery in May. Now, on a Wednesday in July I'm still getting the run around for a prescription that should have been filled on Sunday. I'm officially taking my business across the street to CVS.

Understaffed. Staff present undertrained. Same BS response at 8 30 pm that was offered at 6 pm. "We're currently working on your order. It should be another 30 to 45 minutes." Totally wrong. Same poor experience suffered by all in line.

Horrible! Waited almost 10hours for an antibiotic. around noon time, we were told prescription will be ready in 2 hrs. and come 5pm still not ready and was told they are so busy. at 830pm finally decided to call again since they close at 10pm. Called the hotline to get status update and after being on hold for an over one hour, pharmacist finally said it was ready, sounding as if the medicine/antibiotic was ready the whole time but not was just not taken care of. absurd!

Website ~30 minute pickup ordered items online received an email there will be a delay ok, I sent my daughter to the store she picked up items from the shelf, clerk did not want to give discount price asked for manager~ at photo register she went to pharmacy got the discount. Email states you must cancel order with the store, on hold 30 minutes 3rd in line recording comes on we are on lunch break. 45 minutes later called photo closed called back finally was able to cancel order no more pickup orders here..I should have driven to the store~poor service

I understand when the system is down, very little can be accomplished. But the presentation to the customer can be met with kindness and redirection rather than disregard. We scheduled our children's 2nd dose of Pfizer vaccine for this site, which happens to be when the system was down. Now if you have kids, you can understand the amount of pre-shot anxiety that can occur. This, we can manage. What we have no tolerance for is an employee's inability to make a decision and inform the customer in a helpful way. My confidence in Walgreen's was already waning. This just makes my decision as to where to shop and fill prescriptions a lot easier.

The pharmacy is TERRRRIBLE!!!! I called before going inside because I have covid. They told me to wait for 2 hours so I waited in my car. I went in and the line was 20 people deep! I got to the counter and the guy told me it’ll be another 2 hours. I came back and they still made me wait 30 minutes for it to be filled! I will never be coming back! First and last time!

I will start by saying the personnel are usually pleasant. The pharmacy has some management/staffing issues, and could use some classes in customer service and customer priority. I understand they have a lot going on behind the scenes, but they should account and compensate for that with the correct number of employees, training, and utilization of proper prioritizing of servicing patrons who are currently present and waiting to be served. And wash the drive through window once in a while.

The drive thru always has carts blocking it’s you have to go in and wait in line for 30+ minutes just to be told your meds still are not ready even through you called 4 hrs prior and the lady on the phone rudely say yes they are ready come pick them up. Not sure how hard it is to fill 14 pill when you got the prescription at 930 am and it’s 7pm and when I ask why I was told it’s ready all I get is idk!!!?!? DONT WASTE YOUR TIME

Yes . Just got off phone with pharmacy. Tested positive with covid. Fever 103.4 I'm diabetic. Trying to go thru drive thru since then. To get meds. Yes I have been vaccinated boosters. I was told nit to wait so long. Out of meds. Very unprofessional. Any questions feel free to call me

The pharmacy is terrible! Every time I go there is a lane of twenty customers. Tonight I waited in the drive through for 30 minutes when I got to the window they closed the drive-through down. So I went inside to speak to a manager and the manager told me they were short staffed they had to close down the drive-through and I had to wait in line again. I told him this was not acceptable and he said it is what it is and to call 1800 Walgreens and walked away.
