Two months ago we were looking for a trainer so we could make sure our XL bully is trained before he gets too big. When I got to Petco and met crystal, I knew she was going to be the trainer for us. She was relatable, kind, patient, and an amazing teacher not only to Apollo, but to us as pet parents. She was AMAZING with our large breed dog which can trigger bias in a lot of people, but she treated us better than I could have ever asked for. You get what you pay for, and her private lessons were worth every penny. If you’re looking for help training your pup, I can’t recommend Crystal enough.

I’ve been coming here for several months now and every time it’s an enjoyable experience, but today I felt like an employee (John) went above and beyond. When I asked if there were anymore carts (I had a lot to buy), John happily ran across the parking lot and pushed all the carts into the front of the store, detached one and gave it me. During my shopping he was working and saw me again and noticed I needed help with something, without asking he walked over with the same cheerful disposition and helped me AGAIN. i am so grateful for how helpful he was. as if this wasn’t enough, the store manage, Anthony, said remembered me by name and as always shared a warm and lighthearted hello.Experiences like this are what make me continue to drive 25mins to this store vs stopping at other pet stores that are closer to me.

There is always an employee up front who greets me when I come in. Whether they are stocking shelves or cashing out a customer, they are always welcoming. I went to the aquatic section of the store and I was checked up on and helped without having to look for someone. Great experience!

Staff was horrible. Her name was Darlina. I’m assuming night manager. Went in to make a purchase after returning ferrets the previous day. She followed me and verbally attacked me in front of everyone in store about I could not return any thing else after I buy it. Really really rude and obnoxious to me. I will not shop in any Petco store ever again. She embarrassed and humiliated me in front of everyone. I left there feeling sick to my stomach. I did call corporate office about her. Hopefully they will take care of her.

I had an amazing experience talking to Crystal today. She was very knowledgeable when it came to finding the perfect reptile for my family. She also had a very positive attitude and was very passionate about her job. As long as she works at this store I will continue to be a dedicated customer. Thanks for all your hard work!

Had a delightful experience today speaking to an associate, Crystal. Every time i have come in she is always there working very hard and covering every department. She was very caring to the animals and very knowledgeable about everything i wanted to know, i love to see that people still have work ethic in the coming generations! She was very helpful and I can't wait to come back to plan out my future ferrets with my favourite pet store 💙💙

Employee at pick up was super sweet. Order apparently was canceled looked in shelf and there were 2 bags of requested dog food. At a higher price than online orders. Store is not properly staffed. 1 person working. Think as whole your company needs to be better and do better

Crystal is very helpful, learning about the fish and ferrets was definitely amazing and getting to know more in general about the animals and care for them is an awesome skill in your employee, I was very surprised to see she wasn’t a manager with her experience and fantastic customer service, definitely worth stopping by and I’m excited to hopefully finalize an adoption of your beautiful ferrets/bearded dragons with her in the future!

My first time Stopping at a petco was this location, I had to get bugs for my bearded dragon. Unfortunately they keep their bugs next to the reptiles as I was looking my 8 year old asked mommy what is wrong with this dragon? Imagine my complete shock and anger at seeing this dying malnourished and way to young to be sold baby bearded dragon in this condition. Petco should be ashamed of themselves they SHOULD NOT be allowed to house any living breathing animal. I will never shop at petco period.

Will is very good with Kovey! He absolutely loves her. Will takes the time to listen to my concerns and answer any questions I may have. I absolutely love the feeling of having no worries when I leave Kovey in her care!!

The store is great, Vetco was amazing with my dog even though this was their first time with him. Let me save you 4 hours and $70 and tell you to take your fur baby elsewhere to get groomed. The cut was the opposite of what I asked for. The length of the hair was the one I specifically told them I did not want and his head and face was untouched. I had to come home and trim the hair from his head and around his eyes so he could see. Bottom line I can’t wait for his hair to grow back because he looks like a crack head on drugs. NEVER AGAIN!!! So elsewhere unless you want to waste your money.

I have had good experiences everytime I go here. I have spend alot of money here in the last few weeks. Prices are a bit high in store for things you can purchase other places. The only thing I can say is that if you purchase fish here and have any issues, save the fish to bring back. I purchased a few guppies and I may have shocked them, and they did not make it overnight. I found them and flushed them because I didn't want my son to freak out before he went to school. I was lucky enough to a few i didn't see. The store needs them to give a refund for them... so just an FYI.. other than that, it's all good. The one girl in there is always attentive and helpful....

Will was Mia's stylist and Will kept Mia calm and comfortable during her visit. My only complaint is they sprayed stinky Colone on her and it is not agreeing with my asthma.Since the was her 1st time there someone should have had the brains to ask instead of assuming. Note to self; never pay ahead of time again!

After a simple nail trim and buff my dog was sprayed with a strong and offensive perfume spray without my consent. I had never had this happen previously and spoke to management about it. Management was rude and said “we do that to all the dogs”. My dog now requires a bath and her collar to be washed to rid her of this disgusting smell. We will not be returning to this store.

Petco/Vetco so called Veterinary Care is a nightmare. I explicitly told Angela I did not want the additional treatments she kept trying to sell me. I just wanted a rabies vaccine. Yasmin the so called vet took my dog into the treatment room and told me to go shop around, That I was not allowed in the treatment room . I walked away for a minute and went right back. They were injecting a yellow fluid into Mollys mouth and had a syringe in her leg. I asked Yasmin what the H she was doing. I only wanted the rabies vaccine. She said Angela put a check mark in the COMPLETE HEALTH PLAN BOX . Yasmin yelled to the Check In Demon and chastised her for doing that again. She also told me I wouldn’t be charged for it, only the rabies vaccine. Guess what? They charged my debit card for $126.99 . Check with the BBB in Arizona before you take your pet to any Petco/Vetco Clinic. They have hundreds of unanswered complaints and claims against them They are also not BBB Accredited.

First time visiting this store. The store was very clean and the staff knew what they had. They had a great selection of freshwater fish.
