Out of all the Dollar General stores I have been to, this one was the nicest one. Very clean, organized and well stocked. The store also looked larger inside compared to other locations. The one downside was the employees were not too friendly and welcoming. Located right on Dupont Hwy, next to Autozone across from Rodney Village shopping center.

My experience with this store wasn't the best today. I went in to grab a few items and not only was the store poorly stocked there were huge carts of merchandise in the aisles. This is a safety hazard. There were 3 employees on staff but no one was helpful and not one of them were even attempting to put things away. I had to ask another had she seen items because I couldn't find things. Do better dollar general.

I have been going here since they opened. Normally I went to Southgate and never had a bad experience in 10 years. Yesterday I went to purchase medicine and the male clerk who was working at about 8 a.m. was not customer focused. I was waiting for him to finish with one customer while at the self checkout because I had to have him approve the sale. Rather then come help me before helping the next customer, he proceeded tell me I'll be there in a minute, even though I had gotten his attention and the customer who he was about to help told him I was next. Needless to say, I was angry at this point but still put my 2 items back on the shelf and proceeded to leave the store... as I was leaving he was heading over to where I was standing and I heard him say, "okay", but paused realizing I was no longer there. I said, " Don't worry about it."Piss poor service and will no longer support this location. Your employee really dropped the ball here. And as someone that runs a business, I would never tolerate that and would focus on more training for him. The manager here has always treated me well which is why I gave at least 2 stars.

My experience at DG was and is always very nice. The staff at the new DG are so friendly and helpful. The new store is nice and spacious and everything is uncluttered and easy to find. They are not super expensive. If you don't watch your-selfyou'll go in for one or two things and wind up buying a cart full of things.

Staff Greet you right away. Also helpful & friendly. Love how impressed & surprised I am by what U carry...even my cat's favorite canned food! I will come by more often. 🐱

Very unprofessional. Opened store late and left me at the register unattended asking me to wait 5 minutes so she could check me out. Supposedly a manager of the store.

They have some nice things inside...Hum,some may be a little higher here than another Dollar Store...They also have some really Good Workers....Which is one of the reasons I go back..

Cleanest and best stocked DG in Dover downtown. Very friendly staff. Clean restrooms. Fast service and helpful staff.

My new favorite Dollar General besides the Route 10 store. This one is larger,just as clean and looks like it has more inventory.

How come everytime I come to this store it's always closed? Its 8:14 and doors are locked when it says open till 10pm?
