Always love coming here when I'm in town. Staff is very helpful. Merchandise always changing and good prices. Must always check your expiration dates. I purchased a few items of one was rancid and the other stale. As long as you are vigilant, a great place to shop for bargains.

Highly recommend & have even told strangers to go! We went to both locations today & got goodies! Baked goods, ice cream & deli subs are all amazing & will leave you full & planning your next trip! Love the local things & variety of food & drinks! We usually come just to look & leave with several bagfuls of great stuff!

Best place to buy food that is pricey in grocery stores. Stuff that's a week, month or two away are discounted cheap in bulk. It's amazing when you get stuff for 1/4 what a regular store charges. The deli makes great food, give it a try. Worth the drive from Maryland monthly or weekly

We ordered a brand new wood stove for our brand new pole barn.The wood stove has been installed. Of course the remaining portion of the bill was several hundreds of dollars more than the remaining balance I had a copy of. When I signed the paperwork and gave half of the total cost to Byler’s I was informed that the balance would be less than the printed quote because they put more than what was needed just in case the job did call for the extras. When the employee president the remaining bill I was prepared to possibly pay the full amount on paper but hoping it would be less as was said. Oops a goof up, you actually owe several hundred dollars more. The sales guy must have goofed up. For that reason three stars. Come on guy’s your customers feel slightly taken advantage of. Trust is hard to come by and keep. Not so good when it’s lost from the get go and find out to late.

Fantastic store near Dover that I try to stop at each time I'm up to visit my mother. Prices are fantastic! Like others have mentioned, you just need to look for dates on items before buying. I usually bring a cooler to transport perishable items back to North Carolina. Love the unique Amish items that can be found here. Nice deli selection! If you're looking for spices, they have a huge variety all at great prices. I also enjoy looking at their side shop, especially around Christmas time! My daughter loves picking up a small cup of ice cream for a dollar near the entrance!

LOVE this store! From fresh deli subs to ice cream to floor mats, Christmas decorations, and so much more! Discounted candy, all the baking ingredients you could ever imagine, candles, kitchen gadgets, toys, home decor, it’s one of the neatest stores I’ve ever visited! Get an ice cream cone as soon as you walk in. A mini will is plenty large enough for most adults, even if you LOVE ice cream! Don’t believe me? Go ahead and order a small but be sure to grab some napkins! The chances of you finishing the cone before it melts is slim to none! I could spend hours in Byler’s. I can’t wait to go back!

Love this store. Quality kitchen tools can be found here as well as gifts and home decorating items. Pricing on food makes meals affordable for everyone’s budget if they know how to cook.Constant turnover of merchandise at reduced prices. Gluten free items available.

Some great deals but you must look at the expiration date on packaging. Pleasant people work there. I wish they carried some organic produce and frozen items.

Always find something new here. Great selection of kitchen wares and dry goods. Amazing deals in the freezer section. Super friendly staff and great subs from the deli. My only complaint is that the wait time for subs can be rather long because they need more sub makers.

Love Byler'sNeeded to get something for my pellet stove. They were very helpful and got a sub while I was there (roast beef sub that is), and It was wonderful. Love the seasonings they carry, especially the smoke paprika. Friendly Staff!!!

Wow! They have these dehydrated soups that are just as if you had been cooking them for hours!! Lol They are banging!!! Tried the smoked bacon and bean and the chicken noodle soup, both delicious! You can add real chicken to it to make it even better. You can find any spice you think of, they have good pastry amd cookies and the most beautiful details to decorate your house!! Definitely going back!!

My wife and I went for the first time after checking Google Maps. OMG! The aroma of baked goods was amazing. I couldn't keep up with the wife as she traveled up and down aisles.We were originally going to check out prices for sliced deli meats. She was shocked how low the prices were, compared to what we've been spending. The only downside was not having the "traditional" salad dressings. There are so many varieties of spices, local honey, great staff, customer service, and checkout staff. 5+ stars.I could go on and on, but I'll save it for our next visit.More photos are coming.08/09/23. My wife got more luncheon meat. Our favorites are turkey, chicken, honey ham. Queenie likes sliced turkey. She stayed home this trip but had the turkey for dinner.

What can I say about bylers first one of the best surplus food places in town also great atmosphere and staff is very nice.The food selection is fairly reasonable.One note check the dates on the food as soon items are outdated

I like Bylers, an Amish based store. They have lots of items we use including fresh meats at the deli/meat counter. The only drawback is some of the manufacturer pre packaged items are close to expiration or expired. So you need to check the dates. They also have nice gift shop and a grill / fireplace department with high end products...really nice to wander through.

Great Location to get bulk goods. The groceries are inexpensive, but no your usual super market items. We go mainly for the baked goods, which are always fresh and so delicious! With a general store feel, make sure you have plenty of time to look around. We love coming here.

The route 8 byler's is a lot bigger than the one in Harrington,. So I try to get up here at least once a month or so. My friend needed a ride here so I spent the entire hour in the housewares side. They have a lot of really neet kitchen gadgets.

It's been awhile since I've been here! I see a few changes. You can still find really good deals here. Some of the home decor can be quite pricey though. The ice cream part looks like a cafe now with baked goods and I believe a barista too.

First visit today, loved the store! Beautiful gift section and great grocery selection! I took a star off due to the expiration dates on some products. Please be aware and check expiration dates some items are well past or close to expiration. Otherwise an enjoyable shopping trip!
