1st time we have used a kennel for our 1 year old lab. Great place!!! Great people!!! He stayed for a few days. Got a bath on his last day. He smelled great. He was as happy getting picked up as he was getting dropped off. The next time we need to kennel, we will be going back. Thank you for taking care of our baby!!!

I did plenty of research as we are new to the area. From my initial call for information I was made very comfortable. The owners take pride in thier resort and it is incredibly clean and maintained. Our 3 dogs stayed with them for 11 days in July and were well taken care of and very happy. We highly recommend them to everyone Thank you Ottertail pet resort. We love you and will be back to see you in the future.

We are so pleased to have OtterTail caring for our boys again. As we drive down Francis St they get excited. It may be the mud holes Buck dug or the beauty treatment Rye enjoyed at their last stay but it is the professional care and outstanding facilities that makes them #1 for our dogs.

We have had the most wonderful experience at OtterTail with all of our dogs over the past ten years. They’ve stayed for both short visits and longer ones. Two of our dogs stayed for two weeks when we went to Australia over the Christmas holiday, and they had so much fun. I did not worry for a moment and I knew they were in great hands! Karen and Rob and their team do such an amazing job. The place is spotless, and you will not find two people who love animals as much as they do! They are very professional, flexible when necessary, and most importantly, the dogs are safe and happy. Highly recommend OtterTail! All the stars!!

I never had to leave my last two dogs with anyone but family when we would go away. I was really dreading leaving my baby somewhere else. I was sooooo fortunate to find OtterTail Pet resort when I was in a bind. They truly love these animals and treat them as if they are their own pets! My dog was so happy with the “sleepover” with his new friends. ❤️🐾. The accommodations were so clean and he was well taken care of and given lots of attention! In the future I will definitely use OtterTail Pet Resort for future needs!

OtterTail is the only boarding facility I would take my Billy. He was an energetic and friendly dog! The team at OtterTail made sure he spent time with the other dogs and had a blast. They offered him baths at the end of his visits so he came home clean as a whistle. Billy thoroughly enjoyed his stays at OtterTail and they were always accommodating for pick-up and drop-off times. I highly recommend this pet resort!!

Otter Tail is the most caring boarding facility we’ve ever used. We had to arrange to drop our girl Chloe off earlier than scheduled due to a family emergency and they graciously helped us during a very difficult time. They also took great care of our 10 year old lab and attended to her needs with care. Karen was concerned because our dog was upset contacted our vet and helped our pup, by making her stay more comfortable. If you need to board your pup on the Eastern Shore, Otter Tail should be your first call.

Otter Tail Pet Resort is hands down the BEST! I have two canine babies and two feline babies that stay with Karen and Rob routinely. My Giant Schnauzer, who has the worst separation anxiety, overcame his issues with Karen and Rob as they provided him with the love and care he needed to feel safe in their care. I am so thankful for a place that I know will love and care for my babies when I am away.

We have been sending our dogs for many years! We did have 3 but now we have 2 yellow labs who absolutely love staying at Ottertail when we go away. I know they love spending time there because they almost jump out the window when we turn down the lane. Karen and Rob are the most caring people to our dogs! They treat them like their own! We would not want to send them anywhere else! So happy that we found them!!

Karen and Rob are the absolute BEST. We don't kennel our dogs but usually once every 2 years but this past year we had so much come up we needed our babies kenneled several times which made me nervous but after the first stay with them we knew our babies were in good hands. This is the only place I have ever trusted with my dog!! I needed to kennel my Boxer for a recent vacation. From the moment I met Karen and Rob I knew my dog found his second home. They introduced him to group play and even wrangled him into a bath with nail trimming. I saw pictures and videos of his adventure while I was away which eased my own anxiety. I highly recommend Otter Tail. Otis agrees, other than home, there’s no other place he prefers to hang his drool!!

We're so happy that we found Otter Tails. It's so reassuring to know that when we travel we don't have to worry if our boy is going to be well cared for and get plenty of exercise and activity. He loves it there. Whenever we pull into the driveway he gets so excited. Honestly, it's the best place we've ever boarded our dogs.

This is an excellent kennel and also an outstanding breeder. I started using them years ago to board my rescue fur babies. Always clean and great loving care. I never worry leaving my pups here because I never have to worry. They actually get excited when we turn into her driveway and run inside! Now I have two of her English Labs and they are the best dogs ever.

Karen & her husband Robert have always been accommodating in boarding our 2 dogs! I reached out to her at a last moments notice earlier this year when my father passed away in VA, to board them for a few days so my wife and I could travel for my dads funeral. They accepted my request and was one last thing I had to worry about during that difficult time. I also have had both dogs bathed & nails trimmed which they do a fabulous job, always smelling great when picking them up! I would highly recommend their services to anyone who has a pet!

So lucky to have found Otter Tail Pet Resort! The kennel is very well run - organized, clean and safe - and the guests love it. The attention paid to each guest show the owners obviously care very much about every one. They kept us posted on how our dog was doing and shared photos of her playing with the other dogs. I have several more trips booked and my big goofy lab will be staying at Otter Tail for her own little vacation. Absolutely a 5-star experience!
