Good prices, but it gets on my nerves how they stock. They take entire aisles when they stock. I know they have to restock, but I believe it could be done in a way that allows customers to access the product at the same time. And if you get in their way or interrupt them, you'll get a dirty look.

My favorite one around. Just don't go at extremely busy times and you are good! I love they are open late. I started going early or late, and the place is empty. They always have great deals, i love the money back program!

We always have great experiences at our local Delmar FL, But this past week was exceptional with the Bakery! We used them for our daughters graduation cake and they were wonderful!! The cake designer is very attention to detail and she did an amazingJob : )

At 9:20pm on a Friday night brought $300 of groceries to front and there was no one available to check me out. The 1 associate in the front of the store told me, that the cashier had just gone on break, so I could check myself out, or wait 15min for her to get back. It took me 12minutes or so to scan items and there's not even enough room on the stand to put $300 of groceries. The associate didn't even have the decency to at least bring over a cart for me to set items in, let alone offer to help bag at least since she was incapable of running a register. After completely done, the female manager and a cashier come wandering out of the back. Why would they both have to take break at the same time, leaving just 1 person to watch the store? This doesn't even seem safe! I really should have left the $300 groceries sitting there for them to put back, but I at least feel I need to be paid for my labor. Delaware minimum wage is $11.75, I bill 1 hour minimum. Should I expect a paycheck to be mailed to me?

It was 10 o'clock at night, so the shelves were pretty bare. The store and grounds were clean. The bright spot was the young lady that checked us out. Very friendly, and made us feel welcome as the visitors we were. Forgot to get her name, but she had brightly tinted hair. I would return just because of her service.

Love Food Lion. My only issue is they move things into different areas and if I'm in a hurry I have walk around to find what I need. Most of the cashier's are friendly. A few should not deal with the public. Also train them on Bagging PLZ!

I go here all the time and I can't complain. They have really good customer service, the workers are really polite and helpful...I would have given 5 stars but they seem to have a problem keeping the breakfast meats stocked-It's hit and miss when it comes to getting scrapple 😆😊🙆🏼🥓🛒

Good organization, good deals, good environment. Nice staff who are very helpful. Self checkout makes things easy and swift. Tired of the crowds of Walmart? Take a quick drive up 13 and visit the best grocery store on the eastern shore.

Every time I go in it's very positive and pleasant all the workers are very nice. However Stocking this shows or what they are stocking seems to be in a scarcity. Most through time when I go in and I look for certain things staples of my house that I keep every day They do not seem to be there. Or a very little Inventory. It seems since the pandemic you will have one store that is fully stocked at another store that is not. I never knew this to be the case before. however I will say the people always Pleasant and the store is always very clean.

This store is nicer than the one in Seaford. Cleaner and better selection. The one in Laurel DE is even better than this. As usual Seaford gets treated like the red headed step-child by these large companies.

Since moving to Delmar DE in 2021, I have visited this Food Lion numerous times. It is consistently spotless, as well stocked as their supply allows in this current shortage, and staff are pleasant/ very helpful.Today when I arrived to pick up a Spiderman sheet cake that I had special ordered, the finishing touches were being done. In the blink of an eye a mishap occurred to a section of the frosting when a box hit the cake. The staff person ( whose name I did not get) went into action to do immediate repair after many apologies. Within 10 minutes the repair was done and could not be detected!!! Thank you to bakery staff who rallied around to get my cake completed and boxed up. The cake was delicious and enjoyed by my grandson and his friends to celebrate his 7th birthday. Thank you!!!!

I sat in the vehicle howevere there was a vehicle in front of me. Children were in it by themselves. Windows were down but the children were too friendly speaking to people as they went by.

The people in the store are great, but the shelves are always empty. They never have anything it feels like in stock, whoever does the ordering for this store either needs fired or assigned to another position, cause they don't know how to keep shelves stocked.

Being the only Grocery option besides Walmart, I guess they're really isn't no competition. Especially if they can price match.Store was remodeled to a more modern design.The aisles were acceptably clean, and well stocked for a Holiday focused around Food.They offer some brands and items not found anywhere else at times/locations.Checking out is effortless with self checkout, and even more so when there's an employee monitoring the 10 checkout lanes, directing traffic, notifying wayward customers of open lanes. The cashier was accommodating and polite. A little chatty, but not off-putting.The carts were in good working order, with a choice of 3 sizes and styles.Not entirely sure, but I felt like I was a priority to security.In all, I was satisfied. This is my go to grocery chain when shopping. Least until Walmart starts building dedicated grocery only stores!

This place is close by so it’s location is convenient, staff are always friendly, but they NEVER have anything I need. Whoever does inventory is awful at their job. I always have to run even further up to Laurel or Seaford to find what I need. It’s unfortunate Food Lion is the only grocery store close by- unless you want to drive even further to Salisbury and add $30 more to your bill each week to shop at Acme.
